During the Gamescom briefing, Mike Ybarra took the stage to announce that all future Games with Gold titles for Xbox 360 will be available for Xbox One backwards compatibility as soon as they go live. This essentially means that Xbox One owners get 4 free games each month!

Backwards compatibility will be available this November with support from Microsoft Studios-published games — which means backwards compatibility for Halo, Gears of War, Fable, Crackdown, Bank Kazooie, Perfect Dark, Kameo and Mass Effect
