Fans that have been eagerly awaiting the un-dated Mass Effect: Andromeda multiplayer beta got some bad news from BioWare this week. Mass Effect: Andromeda recently went gold ahead of its March 21st release, and fans have likely been waiting to finally get a solid date to test out the game’s multiplayer beta. Ahead of BioWare’s presence at PAX East on March 10-12, the company has cancelled the beta.
But, if you’re attending the event in-person, BioWare is still going to host the game in its own and Microsoft’s booth so players can try the game out on PC and Xbox. The full quote from BioWare’s blog post is as follows:
“While we have live multiplayer at PAX East, there will no longer be a multiplayer tech test for players at home. Thank you for everyone who signed up. We look forward to seeing you in Andromeda.”
We don’t yet know the reasoning, but if we hear anything we’ll keep you updated. For now, we’re hoping that there is nothing wrong and it was purely a decision made for convenience during the exposition. For the latest, be sure to stay tuned to Rectify Gaming.
