Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Sells $550M in Opening Weekend

Over the past few years Call of Duty sales have been falling. This time it’s rising, Activision reports more than $550M worth of copies were sold on its opening weekend. The publisher claims this is the largest video game launch of the year, though without complete data from all major launches. We don’t know if that is true or not but it could be one of the biggest launches this year. Black Ops III has set PlayStation 4 records, with the best-selling opening day for digital, full-priced games.
