Two new maps are coming to Gears of War 4 for season pass holders on December 6th. All non-pass holders will need to wait until December 13th, and at that time two maps will be leaving in Gridlock and Relic.
The new maps, called Glory and Speyer, will set a new scene for Gears players
Speyer
Evacuated long ago, this lonely district of Speyer is a still image of pre-Locust War life. The battle for the sanctuary is a close quarters affair, but teams looking to control the sprawling academy will need to do so together. Speyer’s opulent interiors and quaint plazas are best suited to longer range engagements.

Glory

A monument of military might, this COG battery was used only against the most strategic targets to maintain its secrecy. The defensibility of this fortress can be used to your advantage if captured, which includes a powerful mounted turret that can suppress the courtyard below.
Although the maps will disappear even for pass holders in public matches, remember they are permanent in both Versus and Horde private matches. Another benefit for pass holders is 2XP for playing the developer playlist. Gears of War 4 is on sale now at 33% off and is a must buy if you haven’t done so yet.
