One of the greatest things about Xbox One is the universal windows platform apps made for it adding endless options for things like music, themes, etc. Bethesda took advantage with adding Fallout Shelter to the Xbox Play Anywhere program which means on the console and on Windows 10 as well. The title was a huge hit on mobile when it first launched in June 2015, earning a huge $5 million in its first two weeks on the market.
Bethesda marketing executive Pete Hines was asked about when a potential Fallout Shelter release would be coming to PlayStation 4 over on Twitter, and the response will not exactly inspire confidence from owners on the Sony console after a Fallout Shelter experience. “Dunno,” said the vice president of PR and marketing. “We didn’t make it for Xbox. We made it for universal windows platform, which supports a variety of devices.”

Obviously universal windows app does not support PlayStation 4 and wouldn’t make sense if it did. Microsoft has an edge over Sony when it comes to that, but lets not forget about the Switch that many people tend to criticize that it won’t have great quality on handheld could have the chance of getting Fallout Shelter that remains to be seen for now.
Fallout Shelter launched on Xbox One and Windows 10 February 7th.
