Super Mario Run has been downloaded 78 million times on IOS, only 5% have paid to unlock the full game

After being out over a month Nintendo has confirmed that Super Mario Run has been downloaded 78 million times on iOS devices. However, only 5 percent of consumers that downloaded the game have coughed up for the full version. The 2D platformer will be hitting Android in March while it may seem a bad time to launch it on those devices at that time because of the Switch launching in the first week of that month.
