19 new OG Xbox titles coming to Xbox One backward compatibility

A new wave of original Xbox games are headed to the Xbox One thanks to backwards compatibility support, Microsoft announced today, including beloved classics like The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords, Jade Empire, and many more.

The full list of games will be split into two groups and deployed this month, with the first eight games available on April 17, followed by the second collection on April 26.

  • The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

  • Jade Empire

  • Destroy All Humans!
  • Full Spectrum Warrior
  • Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction
  • MX Unleashed
  • Panzer Elite Action: Fields of Glory (Europe only)
  • Star Wars: Battlefront
  • Star Wars: Battlefront II
  • Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy
  • Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter
  • Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords
  • Star Wars: Republic Commando

To play original Xbox backwards compatible games, just insert your original Xbox disc for any of these games into your Xbox One console if you still have them. If you own them digitally, that will also work. Many of these games can also be purchased from the Xbox Store.
