Xbox April Update now in Preview
Major Nelson has just announced that the April preview update will be launching in two waves, with the first happening today. If you are in the preview program, here is what to expect in this build: Party chat improvements – Party chat is being improved with troubleshooting guidance for Xbox One owners. The Party App will help you get your microphone enabled and show you when privacy settings or networking issues are blocking communication with particular party members. Game hub links – Members can more easily discover game hub content from activity feed items. You’ll see activity feed items when any of your friends follow a game, and you’ll also be able to get back to a game’s hub from activity feed posts related to the game – including feed items about the game’s achievements, game clips and screenshots. Finally, we’ve added a link to game hubs from the game’s page in the achievements app. Achievement notifications – With this preview release, you’ll also see the achievement’s description in the notification so you know what you did to earn this achievement without having to open the achievements app. If you do choose to open up the notification to see the achievement details, we’ve also made some performance improvements to make loading the achievements app from a notification faster. The achievement notifications should definitely be a welcome addition for achievement hunters. The second wave of this update should be launching sometime next week according to Major Nelson.
New Halo 5 ‘Hunt the Truth’ Teaser
It looks as if the first teaser for the Halo 5 ‘Hunt The Truth’ teaser campaign shown. Originally it was uploaded to YouTube by user AssaultCommand. Now Xbox has officially uploaded it on their Youtube. In the 16 second teaser, you see a sniper rifle firing off a round with the word ‘Traitor’ engraved in the bullet going through Chief’s visor and destroying his helmet. Could the traitor be Locke? Arbiter? Or someone else entirely? Very interesting. Catch it below and let us know your thoughts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9D2HzbT9Pc&feature=youtu.be Discuss this on our Forums
GTA V Heists Review
“With great updates come with great responsibilities” March 10th, Rockstar had released the GTA V Online Heists update! With the quote above, it really just proves it. Servers were crashing left and right. Much like Jezz Torrent from Love Fist crashing after a long tour in Vice City. Until Rockstar went ahead and sent out an update to fix the servers and make Heists playable. It is recommended to make a group of 4 instead of trying to go through matchmaking for online heists. If you could get past the first couple set up missions, the first TWO person heist is fun to say the least. The first heist mission consists of you and your partner robbing a small bank in the west side of Los Santos. After completing all the available heists, I have to say that taking part in this experience has made me appreciate the game a lot more. I can see why they (Rockstar) took their time on making this. If it came out broken, or half-assed, it wouldn’t be as good. There will be no spoilers in this review, but I will say that the Heists take place before the story mode. If you’re looking to make somewhat serious money, or to just lay back and play some GTA, clear your weekend schedule and make time for online Heists. There are a total of FIVE heists in this, hopefully more to come, with 21 set up missions. As I mentioned, the first heist is really something. First off, the take is $110,000 dollars. That’s a lot of cheddar. With you and another group member taking on this heist, its good practice for the work to come. After that, you get to do your first 4-player heist. The Prison Break. Without going into too much detail to give away anything, you’re breaking someone out of prison. On a more informational note, you will be breaking out of the prison located near the runway in Blaine County. You will have 4 setup missions for this, for a great time. At one point you need to steal a prison bus. A PRISON BUS. To say the least these heists are well worth the wait. I’m going to stop here before I say too much and spoil something for you guys.

Halo 5: Guardians to have Dedicated Servers in Custom Games
With Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta running on dedicated servers exclusively with zero support for peer to peer. We got some more scoops on Halo 5: Guardians dedicated servers. Josh Holmes who leads Halo 5 Guardians at 343 Industries has confirmed that when Halo 5: Guardians comes out later this year BOTH MatchMaking and Custom Games will run Exclusively on dedicated servers with zero peer to peer fallback. This helps a ton for Custom Game people especially if you want to host a gamenight, tournament or anything else. This will help Grifball customs for their tourneys and competitive tournaments a ton because often people would blame the host if they lost. Often that is the case and often it is not. So now you got yourself to blame if it starts lagging on you! Also Josh Holmes only said Custom Games and Matchmaking will have dedicated servers. Nothing on Co-op campaign YET! Stay tuned for more Halo 5 news. Discuss this news on our forums http://forums.rectifygaming.com/index/ Source: Team Beyond
