First Xbox One Elite Controller accessories announced
We will see the release of the Elite Controller on October 27th and one of the most interesting features of the device is being able to customize it to fit your gaming needs. When Microsoft first announced the Elite Controller, they also stated that there will be 3rd party parts made to allow you to customize it even more. Last week, Microsoft announced a partnership with Scuf, making Scuf the exclusive 3rd party accessories partner for the controller. Today Microsoft announced that while the Xbox team works with Scuf, PowerA will release a Charging Stand that comes with a 1400mAh battery and battery door this month for $39.99. In early December, PowerA will release a limted run of Halo 5: Guardians Component Kits. The kit includes Halo 5 themed thumbsticks, paddles, and D-Pads and will retail for $29.99. MLG Approves Xbox Elite Controller For All Tournaments
With the hype of Halo 5 coming on the 27th there is something that some fans might be missing out on and that is the Xbox Elite Controller. The Xbox Elite Controller comes out on October 27th, 2015. Hardcore gamers around have been waiting on this since the day it was announced at this past E3. “Our goal is to get these controllers into your hands in time for you to enjoy the greatest games lineup in Xbox history this holiday season.” Recently, MLG have approved the Xbox Elite Controller for all their tournaments. The Xbox Elite Wireless Controller is approved for use by Major League Gaming for all competitive gaming activities and tournaments,” said Adam Apicella, Executive Vice President at MLG. “The customization options are great, showcasing the desired functionality required for pro level competition.” With the brand new elite controller competitive fans and competitive leagues are excited to have them for their tournaments and leagues. DOOM Multiplayer Alpha Test Dates Revealed
After Bethesda opening up the alpha sign-ups for DOOM last week, they have announced the dates for the alpha which will begin Friday, October 23rd. All across Xbox One, PC, and Playstation 4. The testing period opens at 12:01 EDT and runs through Sunday, October 25, at 11:59 PM EDT. Alpha testers will get to play 6v6 team deathmatch games on a map called Heatwave. The alpha will let you try out six weapons and two pieces of equipment. There are multiple “game-changer” items on the map. The Demon Rune, which can turn the tide of a battle by transforming a player into a bad-ass Revenant fully loaded with dual rocket launchers and a jetpack. The Gauss Cannon, a high-powered weapon that can destroy a foe in a single blast. Power-ups like Quad Damage and Invisibility – you can guess what each of these does. The Doom beta will begin in 2016.
