Xbox Exec Says 2016 Games Lineup is Bigger Than This Year’s

Microsoft marketing executive Yusuf Mehdi states that the Xbox One will have the best lineup in Xbox history in 2016. Yes we all know that Xbox is has been releasing more and more great games on the Xbox One this year. Such as Tomb Raider, Star Wars: Battlefront, Halo 5, and many more. But Yusuf Mehdi says that next year will be better. The company’s marketing executive has stated that 2016 will be the “best lineup” in the history of Xbox. Yusuf was speaking at the Credit Suisse Technology Conference in Scottsdale this week, and was very excited to talk about Xbox’s game schedule “If you like to game, this is the year to get an Xbox,” said Mehdi at the conference. Waxing lyrical about the likes of Halo 5: Guardians and Minecraft. Mehdi then firmly said that “next year will also be the best lineup” of Xbox games. Now I will admit that the Xbox One may have had a rough start but Microsoft are now certain that the Xbox is going  the right path. This year Xbox not only had a great selection of games but now there are over 100 Xbox titles that are backwards compatible. And to top it off Xbox’s new controller the Xbox One Elite is being praised of being one of the best controllers on the market. Microsoft has a lot in store in the future and highly anticipated titles such as Gears of War 4, and Quantum Break will bring a lot of new players and spark a lot more interest for Xbox. Final Fantasy 15 is fully playable already, finishing touches being applied

Final Fantasy 15, although we won’t hear anything more about it until March of 2016, is already fully playable from start to finish. Satoshi Kitade, the game’s programmer, spoke on the game’s official forums by saying That the development staff are able to grasp the whole picture is very important. As a programmer, we are ready to concentrate on optimization.” He also noted that the first half of the game is fully finished and playable as a final product. They are currently ironing out the details of the second half in order to finish it up for launch. So far it seems as if development is going swimmingly for Final Fantasy and we hope we hear more sooner rather than later.

Rocket League officially rated for Xbox One

As you can tell from the above image, compliments of @lifelower, Rocket League has been officially rated for Xbox One. Psyonix has stated time and again they would bring the game to multiple platforms but no official confirmation has been made. This is the first we’ve  seen the game rated by any board and thus being from the Taiwanese ratings system. Now, Microsoft and Psyonix haven’t announced anything yet, but I’m sure it will be soon with ratings listing leaked and tomorrow’s The Game Awards would be a perfect time. Stay tuned as we’ll let you know more as it comes out.

Shaq revealing “something special” at The Game Awards

Earlier today on today Shaq teased that he will be revealing something special at The Game Awards tomorrow night. The first thing that pops to mind is that Shaq Fu is coming back after its Indiegogo campaign for Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn was funded. Initially asking for $450k to develop the game for consoles, it reached just over that by the time the campaign ended. It will be developed by Big Deez Productions (best name ever) and will be released on both Xbox and PlayStation platforms as well as Wii U and PC according to the stretch goals. Bottom line, is this has so much win that it’s incredible. Shaq Fu the original for Super Nintendo and that generation was fun, but not that good of a game. As you can tell by the video below you can see the graphics are much improved and, as he says himself, “It looks like Shaq Daddy is gonna have to whoop some ass”. Shaq Fu. Yes please I’m heading to @thegameawards on Thursday in LA, have a little Shaq Fu surprise for you videogame fan. — SHAQ (@SHAQ) December 2, 2015
