Gears of War 4 is making "Stunning Progress"
Well, as we all know Gears 4 is coming out this year and we have been hearing good things about it from devs and executives. Now Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox, recently got to see how the highly anticipated Gears of War 4 game was doing and took to twitter to congratulate them. @GearsViking Stunning progress by @CoalitionGears. I remember seeing "Warfare" for the first time, same feeling today with Gears 4. — Phil Spencer (@XboxP3) February 24, 2016 Spencer goes on to say Gears of War 4 is making “stunning progress” and it reminds of him of the time he saw “Warfare” for the first time. As this isn’t huge news but it looks like we are in for a treat. We should be seeing more Gears 4 stuff very soon as it will release this year.

The console wars wont affect DOOM, because it will be 1080p and 60 FPS on Xbox One and PlayStation 4
Me personally I don’t care about the whole console war nonsense (please let there be peace) but, I know that a lot of you out there will like to know this. Yes, DOOM will be 1080p and 60FPS. This was confirmed by Lead Project Programmer, Billy Khan, who said this on the DOOM website “We want players to wonder how DOOM and idTech 6 games can be so visually stunning at 60 frames-per-second at 1080p on all platforms, when other titles cannot even achieve a similar look at 30 frames-per-second,” “Our goal is to be the best-looking game at 1080p at 60fps.” The DOOM development team have really high hopes, and who can blame them? DOOM is practically the best FPS Horror game out there. And this has been said by many people so it shouldn’t be surprising that the team is working very hard to please and entertain their fans. The DOOM team have made a page on their website called “22 reasons to love DOOM“, celebrating the 22nd anniversary of DOOM, and it says how the team is making DOOM and some more facts about DOOM, such as new multiplayer modes and weapons, plus more. I recommend giving it a read if your interested in that kind of stuff. (Same link I used to find the quote)

#IDARB Launches for Windows 10, Cross-Platform Multiplayer Supported
PC gamers on Windows 10 are now able to download and play #IDARB, the 8-player arena ball game that was released on Xbox ONE in 2015. Developer Other Ocean has included cross-platform multiplayer support, meaning that players on PC will be able to play against Xbox One players. The game will require an Xbox One compatible controller and an Xbox Live membership to play. The #IDARB webpage describes the game as “…a competitive couch multiplayer platform game for up to 8 players, unapologetically inspired by games like Bomberman, Smash Bros. and NBA Jam. It has a crazy amount of customization, allows spectators to interact with the games they’re watching in a way similar to “Twitch plays Pokemon,” and oh yeah, was entirely designed by our fans and friends on Twitter.” #IDARB is also FREE for the month of February on Xbox One as a part of the Games with Gold Program.
