Latest Rocket League tease shows us a basketball themed arena.
Rocket League is on Xbox One, PC and PS4 and it has been growing insanely big ever since its Xbox One release setting milestones. For a while the game has had a hockey related mode and now the official Rocket League Twitter account has teased something about March Madness: March Madness is just around the corner. Great time to tease the mode we're working on next #RocketLeagueHoops pic.twitter.com/rrlEnnFhby — Rocket League (@RocketLeague) March 11, 2016 I wonder if the court is any smaller from the other maps or they just made it the same size. The size of the goal looks different and it looks like you could score from the side of it. This is something that is unique for the game and you have to wonder if we will see a football themed arena. What are your thoughts?

Former Halo devs create new game studio "First Strike Games"
So Kevin Franklin, Former Multiplayer Design Director on Halo 5: Guardians had announced on Twitter that he and two others from 343 Industries left to create their own studio “First Strike Games” https://twitter.com/kevin_franklin/status/708075933203193856 The other two developers are Doug Barnes and Brian Lemon. From what we see on their website isn’t much besides that this game will indeed be a very well developed Multiplayer game for PC and Consoles. Maybe a first person shooter? Who knows, I am excited for these guys’ adventure and I am sure this game will be great.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be much greater than The Witcher says developer.
The Witcher developer CD Projekt Red discussed upcoming RPG, Cyberpunk 2077. Studio head Adam Badowski said The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt raised the bar, meaning Cyberpunk 2077 needs to be “even better, even bigger, even more revolutionary”. He also says CD Projekt Red has a lot of work to do to make it a truly outstanding game. Cyberpunk 2077 is a “huge game” that has a magnitude “much greater” than The Witcher series. CD Projekt president Adam Kicinski said the studio plans to at least double its headcount, which currently stands at around 400 people. Not all will work on Cyberpunk 2077. The game will not be coming out in 2017 so when CD Projekt Red says they want it to be outstanding it will take a lot of time to make it one of the best. The Witcher 3 was a very nice game, it will be amazing to see what they can do with Cyberpunk 2077.
New Limited REQ Pack Coming to Halo 5
A new photo recently came up that 343 will be releasing a REQ pack for Halo 5: Guardians. As seen in the image this pack will cost 80000 REQ points for purchase, but for actual purchase will range to about $10 comparing to HCS that was $9.99. With the short time this image has been out, there’s not else much information to gather like a release of the pack or the contents of it. If anything, check the Requisition Store regularly until this pack is finally available.

Sheltered full release coming next week on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
So, it’s not sheltered anymore then? Team17 and Unicube announced that Sheltered, currently available in Game Preview on Xbox One, will see its full release on Xbox One, PS4 and PC March 15th. The game is based in a post apocalyptic world, and is a different take on the survival genre focusing on the protection of your family. After a global apocalypse, a frightened family find their way to a deserted shelter, where they try to survive. You take on the role of protecting four family members. Their wellbeing and survival is your responsibility. One mistake, one bad decision and a loved one is gone, forever. Sheltered is a world where death is permanent. Combat claustrophobia, radiation and mental exhaustion as you try to turn the cold and cramped shelter into a home. And as they cling desperately to life, you must send family members from the scant protection of the shelter, outside into the dangerous, desolate wasteland to scavenge for vital supplies. You’ll come across abandoned towns, roaming factions and feral beasts. The game will cost the same price as the preview price, $14.99. You can get pick it up now at the Xbox store as well.
The Division broke Ubisoft's digital sales record in the first 24 hours.
The Division has set a new Ubisoft record for digital sales within the first 24 hours. Whether or not you think Ubisoft has had some “iffy” launches in the past is one thing. You can’t deny, however, that their new IP’s have sold amazingly well. The Division is no exception. According to a blog post by Ubisoft CEO Ives Guillemot, “The launch of The Division is a tremendous achievement for Ubisoft, and demonstrates our unrivaled capacity to create fantastic new game brands and transform them into entertainment blockbusters. This is a momentous day for Ubisoft, but more importantly it marks the start of millions of players’ enduring engagement in The Division’s game world, which we are confident they will love.” Ubisoft also mentioned that they now have three of the top four best selling new game IP launches in history. Offhand, I remember Watch Dogs had the record prior to Ubisoft, but the third one escapes me at the moment. Either way, The Division has been an amazing success so far and congratulations to Ubisoft.
Dead Island 2 now in the hands of Crackdown 3 developer Sumo Digital.
So, it’s not cancelled then? Dead Island 2 was assumed dead in the water last year when publisher Deep Silver removed then developer Yager. Supposedly, the developer did not wish to make changes to the series that the publisher did, which cost them not only their game but their studio as well. Shortly after being removed from the game, Yager shut down. Today, in a report from MCV, the game is still very much alive and now in the hands of Crackdown 3 developer Sumo Digital. Sumo also worked on games like Forza Horizon 2 on the Xbox 360 as well as Little Big Planet and various Disney Infinity portions of the game. Koch Media CEO Klemens Kondratitz told MCV that “Sumo showed so much understanding of the brand, had creative ideas and an excellent, vision that was aligned with our own. It just made perfect sense for us to move the project to them. We will reveal more details at a later stage, but for now I’d like to say that we are obviously super excited about the progress that we are making with them.” So, what a week for Dead Island fans, huh? We went from being dead in the water (pun intended) to a new Definitive Edition as well as Dead Island 2 announcements in the same week. So much zombie love. What do you guys think? Will Sumo Digital pull it off? Let us know.
