Bethesda is making their BE3 event public
This year Bethesda is making their BE3 event public. This means that anyone can see the show other then media. At the event Bethesda will showcase their lineup with games and other updates. That’s not all, after the main event, another event called BE3 Plus will begin. Where the attendance can play game demos, hosted interviews, food and drinks, and a “secret” band will be performing to wrap things up. Last year, Todd Howard previously said that Bethesda is working on 3 “huge projects”, so maybe we will get a glimpse of what they are working on. The event will be on June 12, starting at 7 PM PDT. A pre-show will begin before that at 6:15 PM PDT. BE3 Plus will begin at 8 PM PDT. If you cant make it to the event don’t worry. Bethesda will stream both events on their YouTube and Twitch. Halo 5, Not only are Ghosts here but Zombies are coming
Today we got a preview of the new Halo 5 free update, Ghosts of Meridian. This update will be live by tomorrow so be prepared. We got a look of some new warzone and arena maps, Reqs, and more. Skirmish at Darkstar Skirmish at Darkstar is a new warzone map that will feature new types of bosses, and a new introduction into the battle. This map is the smallest in its category but promises a new “feeling” into the game type. This map also promises that it will provide the most cover and route choices. Players can also expect bosses riding in UNSC warthogs and bandits. Tyrant Tyrant is the new arena map that will focus on the Capture the Flag game type and Assault. Power weapons wont necessary play a big role in capture the flag as it is easy for the flag to cross the map. REQS The usual new armor, emblems, and weapon skins are in this update but the stuff that really has peoples attention in the 3 new gravity hammers and the Hannibal Mantis and Scorpion. The hammers all have unique traits to them, such as an emp blast, vortex, and equipped speed boost. Now to the Scorpion and Mantis. These bad boys are the most powerful vehicles to date with more powerful projectiles and reload times. They also look badass. Forge Updates With this update will also include some forge updates as well. Such as weather effects, more plants, trees, and more. More….and infection Yes, you heard right. Infection will be coming next month in Halo 5. A short trailer was featured on the stream that also had a green Prophets Bane. Emile, Juns, Jorge and Kat’s armor pieces were also spotted giving this update more than what was expected. Are you ready for the new update? What about the announcement of infection? Death focused platformer In Between coming to Xbox One
Gentlymad has announced that they are bringing their death focused, PC platformer In Between to Xbox One very soon. No date was announced, but we should hear more shortly according to the developer. In Between is an atmospheric, award-winning platformer where you solve mind-bending puzzles by manipulating your surroundings and gravity itself. Dive into the dense atmosphere of this hand painted game while exploring the reason why you are here. Welcome to a world In Between. It is an emotional game where players are invited to reflect on the life of a man dying of cancer, discovering his story and living through his inevitable struggle for existence, while “playing” through a platform/physics game that reflects his emotional state. Coming soon for Xbox One, In Between will challenge players on both a gameplay and emotional level. We’ll let you know more as soon as we hear more concrete info on the release date. KontrolFreek to release Destiny and Call of Duty gear this year.
KontrolFreek, gaming accessory specialist have announced that they will be working with Activision and Bungie to make Destiny and Call of Duty related gear for gamers. They haven’t released details on what kind of custom products they will release this year. “The team is thrilled to be working with KontrolFreek to introduce new thumbsticks and even more for Destiny,” said Bungie’s Jim McQuillan, visual identity and brand creative director. “This year we’re hoping to work together with KontrolFreek to create some unique designs that embody the Destiny experience for our fans.” “We’re launching multiple products for both franchises, so you will be sure to get your perfect pairing for either CoD or Destiny,” KontrolFreek’s Julia Gardial said in a blog post. In a separate release, the company said “the partnerships include several new products … designed to optimize gameplay in each AAA title.” KontrolFreek is known for working with the Call of Duty franchise but what is interesting to see is custom Destiny thumbsticks and whatever else they will make. One of the reasons Destiny is in the mix is most likely the ties with Activision and their partnership. What are your thoughts?
Xbox neXt Rumors Put to Rest
The recent rumor that has the gaming community abuzz has turned out to be just that, a rumor. After Microsoft Employee David Gardner listed the “Xbox neXt” on his LinkedIn page, the internet took it to mean that a new version of the console, whether a brand new one or improvement of the original, was in production. However, Microsoft quickly squashed the rumors, stating, “Xbox neXt was an old internal team name for a group that worked on releasing Xbox One and is not related to a future console. We have nothing further to share.”
Outlast 2 teaser video points to April 22nd info reveal
Outlast is probably the scariest game in recent memory. So, of course with Outlast 2 scheduled to release this fall, Red Barrels is teasing a reveal for April 22nd. In a new video posted via their official channel, a haunting message is played in reverse. Now, we obviously we can’t understand this message, but when you flip it around it reads as follows “Children, you lovers of God and defenders of his paradise. All of our years of suffering come together now in this glorious day of peace. PEACE! Even in the corrupt and filthy tug(?) of the Romans in the Puritan city. On the fourth month and 22nd day of the sixteenth year of the third millennium, our reckoning begins. This spider-eyed land waits at the harlots breach, hungry for this world. Ready or not. For the good earth thirsts for blood and we, lively angels, must show no mercy. God loves you.” As you can tell from passage, the date listed is April 22nd, 2016. The game is slotted to release in fall as mentioned, so this is probably going to be a new trailer. The video is titled Jude 1:14-15, which is a bible verse. This verse gives us a good idea on the focus of the game, as it states that “See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones to judge everyone, and to convict all of them of all the ungodly acts they have committed in their ungodliness, and of all the defiant words ungodly sinners have spoken against him.” I’m not sure about you guys, but I thought Outlast was scary AF and can only imagine how twisted Outlast 2 is going to be. We’ve yet to see any gameplay so far, so hopefully April 22nd will lead to more and we’ll keep you updated. What do you guys think? Scared yet?

FIFA 16 is hitting the EA Access Vault April 19th.
EA has officially announced that FIFA 16 will be hitting the vault for EA Access on Xbox One and Origin Access for PC members. It seems like the newer sports games are starting to hit the vault now because recently NHL 16 hit it so we could expect more in May. That’s what seems to be the theme here. In case you didn’t know, EA Access and Origin Access members can play more games in The Vault and try the newest EA games before they’re released.
