E3 Live is a new convention for gamers

E3 announced on twitter today that they have made a new convention exclusively for peoples entertainment. Of course there will be sponsored brands and panels, but not as much as the regular E3 shoves in your face. #E3Live is a celebration of all things video games! Get your tickets today at https://t.co/bW5BrGiVPa! pic.twitter.com/pHz8xaREr7 — E3 (@E3) May 23, 2016 This event starts 2 days after the big E3 conferences start, and lasts for 3 days, the same days that the E3 show floor starts. So there will be a lot to do and see this E3. The most abnormal thing about this event is that its free to attend, but sadly tickets have sold out. (In one day should I add). E3 Live promises to have games to play, new technology to try out, dance competitions, and the chance to meet gaming industry celebrities. Clearly E3 want to make it big this year, and that’s including free events that last more than one day. And this just proves how big the gaming industry is becoming. If you want more information about the event go click/touch here.

Xbox E3 Details & FanFest

E3 is fast approaching. The renowned expo is just over three weeks away. However what if you are not one of the lucky ones who can’t go to the expo in person? How can you view the show? Well firstly Xbox is streaming the whole event from 9:30 a.m. PDT on Twitch, YouTube and Facebook Live. Failing that you can also go into your local Microsoft store and watch it on a screen in there or even on your own television on Spike TV. That is not all Xbox is doing though. After the success of the event last year Xbox FanFest is back. The event offers 500 lucky fans a one-of-a-kind up-close-and-personal experience to the showcase. All you need to enter is to be over the age of 21, have an Xbox Live gamertag and be willing to line up at the Microsoft store at Westfield Century City in Los Angeles starting on Saturday, June 11 at 10:00 p.m. The first 500 fans to line up will be issued credentials and then the next day receive tickets to the event. Along with entry the lucky 500 will also receive the usual gifts, merchandise and invitations to both a special Forza Motorsport Event and Fan Celebration event. I for one am jealous of anybody who can make it in!

Play Mirror's Edge: Catalyst 5 Days early with EA Access

Hot on the heels of their last announcement, EA Access has revealed yet more good news for its users. Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst, which is scheduled to be released on the 7th of June, will be playable a full five days earlier for EA Access subscribers. In what is rapidly becoming the norm for the service, users will be given a free six hour trial of the game allowing them to explore the city and story with all progress carrying forward if the game is then purchased. Although slightly shorter than the standard ten hour trial that EA gives, with the game being single-player only it does make sense. EA would hate for people to rush through and potentially finish the game and then have the company make little to no money.

RUMOR: Siren: Blood Curse has been rated in Korea for PlayStation 4.

A few days ago it appeared that the Korean Gaming Rating Board have rated Siren: Blood Curse for PlayStation 4. The original game released in 2008 on PlayStation 3 which was an episodic horror game. In Japan and Asia, including Korea, it was released as Siren: New Translation. The game was rated in Korea as well, but we could be expecting a remastered version of Siren: Blood Curse for Playstation 4 and that would be the most logical guess.
