RUMOR: Scalebound release date might have been revealed.
Scalebound, an Xbox One exclusive title that has been in the works for some time. Recently, the game was delayed to 2017 to “deliver on our ambitious vision”, but Microsoft has never said anything besides that. The game is being developed by Platinum Games. A British retailer might have just revealed the release date for Scalebound. The site says it will release March 31st, 2017. Now this could always be a placeholder but we never know, it could give us an idea of what time of year it will launch. Keep in mind this British Retailer leaked the Skyrim Remeaster date. Stay tuned for more official information on this. Source
Destiny: Rise of Iron details and release date announced
Ahead of tomorrow’s reveal stream Bungie has revealed the release date of the upcoming Destiny expansion. Rise of Iron will release on the 20th of September for only the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, there will be no last generation compatibility with this upcoming expansion. Although this move was unanticipated, it has so far been welcomed as it allows Bungie to optimise this expansion. The release date was not the only reveal about Rise of Iron that came today. The Xbox Store site also inadvertently revealed what guardians can expect from the expansion. Along with the normal new quests, strike, armour sets and weapons there will also be a new raid and social space coming on September the 20th. Also the store revealed the expansion will take place in a new area on Earth called the Plaguelands. None of this has been officially revealed by Bungie yet, but with a stream scheduled for tomorrow it won’t be too long before we have either a confirmation or a denial. Stay tuned to Rectify as we will ensure to update you with more information when we know. Guardians out.

Watch Dogs 2 – Here's what you missed from the official reveal
The official Watch Dogs reveal was done today and with it came a number of details about the game. The main character’s name is Marcus Holloway, and he starts hacking back after he has been convicted of a crime he did not commit. According to Ubisoft, You’ll be taking on the role of Marcus Holloway, a brilliant young hacker who’s been affected by the injustices he’s witnessed from the oppressive ctOS 2.0 system, and as a victim of a crime prediction algorithm that ruined his life. Marcus is a charming, funny guy that knows how to have fun, but he’s also a passionate idealist who wants to give control back to the people. Motion capture has been utilized for a more realistic gameplay perspective and it will utilize the same open-world setup as the first game. You will be able to explore the entirety of San Francisco and all of it’s famous landmarks while hacking till your heart’s content. According to the streams, missions will use a similar style setup and allow you go in guns blazing, full stealth, only hacking or some combination of the three. It will be up to the player to decide, including in multiplayer. Ubisoft stated that the multiplayer has received some tweeks, including making it more immersive than the first game by having more NPC’s in the multiplayer maps. The A.I. has been improved so that NPC’s start arguments with each other, call the police on each other, etc. This impacts the gameplay as walking past a group arguing will also draw attention to yourself, so you’ll have to avoid these groups whenever possible. They also announced a San Fran Collector’s Edition, which you can see below, and includes the following items: The game Lithographs Marcus figurine Map of San Fran Collector’s Box Stickers of San Fran Zodiac Killer mission Deluxe Pack (skins for both Marcus and his car. One each) The game’s release date is still November 15th, which was the leaked date prior to today’s reveal. It will of course be on Xbox One, PS4 and PC as well. Online play will feature co-op modes, which is new to the series, and there will also be expanded PvP modes as well. The first game saw only a basic “hunt down your opponent” mode so it will be interesting to see what Ubisoft has in store for Marcus Holloway. The game is available for pre-order now. Be sure to let us know what you think below, and check out the reveal trailer and some images here
Microsoft is not adding a TV DVR Feature to Xbox One anymore.
Microsoft is no longer planning to add a TV DVR feature to the Xbox One. They originally unveiled plans to add TV DVR back in August. Here is what a Microsoft spokesperson said to The Verge: “After careful consideration, we’ve decided to put development of DVR for Over-the-Air TV on hold to focus our attention on launching new, higher fan-requested gaming experiences across Xbox One and Windows 10,” “We’re always listening to fan feedback and we look forward to bringing more requested experiences on Xbox One, Windows 10 and Xbox Live this year.” The original plan was to let Xbox One users schedule recordings on the go, and stream or download shows to mobile devices and other Windows 10 PCs. The DVR feature would be limited to free-to-air TV. What are your thoughts? Source
