New Battlefield Television show being worked on by Paramount.
Paramount and Anonymous Content have recently announced a partnership with Electronic Arts. They are currently working on the rights for a Battlefield TV show. The show is in its very early stages, but this marks the first time both Paramount and Anonymous have dipped their toes into video game content. Anonymous’ Michael Sugar and Paramount Television President Amy Powell see the long running Battlefield fan base and obviously noticed it once they revealed Battlefield 1 when the trailer broke records on Youtube, which makes it a “highly coveted piece of IP primed for long-form adaptation.” What are your thoughts on this possibility?
NPD to start tracking digital numbers in US Territory.

Well today, NPD is finally taking that first step to offer a more complete picture of the entire games market as it’s unveiled its digital point-of-sale (POS) sourced service, tracking SKU-level sales data on digital games. Here is what the firm explained in a press statement: “Following several years of beta testing, the Digital Games Tracking Service will allow participating clients to understand the size and growth of the digital market, and analyze attach rates and other important metrics. Battletoads spotted on Xbox One Store.
An Xbox fan at Twitter has shared a screenshot of a new Battletoads game by the Rare folks. Though judging from /r/XboxOne comments, many people believe this a fake image providing proof such as: Incorrect font used and the header is misaligned. Description has grammatical errors and is ripped from a plot of the failed Battletoads cartoon. Battlefield font used for logo. Purposely bad angle and quality. States at the end of the description “back on xbox one 1”. If there’s a new Battletoads game, we may see an official reveal at Gamescom or next year.
