Rayman Origins is free on the PC for August 2016
Rayman Origins will be Ubisoft’s next Ubi30 game on August 17th, and it’s free! Ubisoft released the popular Rayman game for the PC on March 29th, 2012 (November 15th, 2011 on the home consoles). If you missed it and have the latest PC hardware, you will have one month to get this free game. Metacritic gave this game an 86 for the PC, so there is a better reason to get this free game. If you’re not familiar with this Rayman Origins or the series in general, that’s ok. A free, critically-acclaimed game is a perfect place to start. But if you are curious, here’s the synopsis from UPlay’s Internet App. You need to download it to see the link (don’t worry, it’s free): When the Glade of Dreams is overrun by “nefurrious” Darktoons, the Fairy Council hastily invokes Rayman to save the day; but the hero of light isn’t quite all there… To help him, Rayman teams up with his best friend, Globox, and two crafty wizards, the Teensies. Together, the world’s most hilarious team of heroes will need to restore peace to the Glade or watch as their beloved home vanishes like a bad dream… Remember, you only have one month to get this game. At the risk of sounding like a broken record… IT’S FREE!

Experience the fast and fluid multiplayer gameplay of Titanfall 2 on PS4 and Xbox One during the open Tech Test. This means the 2nd Tech Test takes place August 26th to the 28th. [youtube id=”ez6G3Zv4u30″] Vince Zampella has revealed on the Titanfall blog that the game’s tech test will only be available on consoles. In addition to further testing and optimizing on PC, Zampella noted that PC players have a tendency to leak information through data mining that isn’t always intended to be released yet. He also noted that they don’t need to test every platform in order to see how the game is progressing. The info can be seen below, courtesy of the blog post, and hopefully we get a lot more information during tomorrow’s multiplayer reveal. We’re still making a lot of tweaks and changes to the renderer, the game, and effects so we haven’t run the game through the hardware compatibility lab yet to detect and handle a large variety of hardware – video cards, CPUs etc. Quite frankly, we aren’t ready to deal with that yet, we are still making the game better. We also haven’t done enough work to fully support our ‘Min Spec’ on PC yet,” he added, noting that the current PC build of the game isn’t as easy to release as the console one, because of the additional variables and configurations that we need to support. Also, because the single player story has some wonderful secrets that we really want to preserve for launch, we also have to worry about leaks. Our wonderfully curious PC players have proven in the past that they will dig out anything they can, and there’s a risk that they could spoil some of our single player. We realize this is a big disappointment for our PC fans, but we feel this allows us to concentrate on the real purpose of the tech test and focus on the server stability and scalability. Rest assured we’re confident in our ability to deliver a great PC experience for launch.”
Rumor: Fallout New Orleans logo trademarked in EU.
A NeoGaf user has found a Trademark for Fallout: New Orleans logo in EU’s FastTrack website. Many people are saying it’s a fake logo “the fonts don’t match up, looks like the Fallout logo is copied from another source with the New Orleans pasted on after the fact.” Take this news as a simple rumor, and most likely not true information. Although if it’s true we can expect an announcement soon from Bethesda and perhaps it releases sooner than expected. Did you like this news? Final Fantasy XV delayed until November 29th, Hajime Tabata confirms.
The worst has happened. Final Fantasy XV is releasing towards the end of this year Director Hajime Tabata confirms on the video below. He explains the primary reason they were delaying was to “allow the development teams time to further polish and conduct quality testing so that the reality of the game can match the expectations of both the fans and the creative teams.” He also explains they have been working on day-one patch to ensure it’s on disc at launch since everyone is not connected to the Internet. Tabata apologizes in a formal manner saying they are considering future patches and downloadable content. He also says they are releasing a 30-minute gameplay tomorrow and the “The Master Version” will be playable at Gamescom. Did you like this news? Halo 5 Forge Review- DeathRun
One of my most favorite games has to be Garry’s Mod, a heavily modified version of the Half Life engine. Garry’s Mod also known as GMod brings a variety of gamemodes, like Trouble in Terrorist Town and PropHunt, both of which have been remade into previous Halo games by the Forge community. Halo 5 Forger FlashPlayer911 remade a classic GMod gamemode DeathRun into Halo 5, by using scripting and the variety of props and unique tools Halo 5 brought Flash was able to make the map feel like a good DeathRun map. Personal Opinion and Play Through: I know that when I first launched the map in a custom game lobby with my friends for the first time they already understood what to do, there isn’t much anything you need to know and how to play the map, most players will get it right away. After our first play through my friends said they loved the map (and still do), even though we didn’t have many people in the lobby we still got through most of the map and by the time we got a few more players in the game we beat the map and killed Death! We quickly learned some tricks that we can pull to school the Death into setting off the trap too early or too late, allowing the remaining Runners a safe passage to the next trap. Overall I would 100% encourage readers who have a copy of Halo 5 to download the map and gametype from the links below and test it out with friends, you will enjoy it. Gameplay: At the start of the round one player will be randomly selected to be Death (It is Infection after all). While Death is at the side of the map over seeing the traps to know when to activate which traps when the remaining players will be the runners, their goal being to trick the Death by juking them when running by a trap. When a runner dies they will become what I like to call a “Child Death” because they are spawned underneath the hallway the Death is provided and cannot activate any traps, they are there simply to watch their once brothers and sisters fail. The map can be played with a few players however it is extremely recommended that you play with a minimum of 8 players, that way someone can actually win. Detail: The art style and attention to detail and easter eggs on this map is fantastic, my first few play throughs had me laughing with what was hidden on the map. From the hidden Grunt Realm to Timmy’s surprise-> the enjoyment you’ll get while playing with friends is endless. Flash does a good job in not only making the map work but making both the runners and the deaths laugh. Overall FlashPlayer’s DeathRun map is great and everyone will enjoy it. I can’t wait for more maps to be made by the community! “Death Run: Survivor” By: FlashPlayer911 – http://bit.ly/2ayi83z “Death Run” Gamemode By: FlashPlayer911 – http://bit.ly/2axcavy Writers Note: Hi my name is Luke aka Court and I am a new (ish) member to Rectify Gaming, around a month ago I joined this awesome community to write Forge Reviews and news if needed. However I have not been as active as I should have been due to Personal issues which have been dealt with. I would like to announce that I will be putting out more reviews as I can and when I can. I would like to thank everyone in the Rectify Gaming community for their support and being so kind in welcoming me into this community, it is honestly one of the friendliest communities I have ever been apart of. I especially would like to thank TyBoy17, Ward-47, Darth Quackers and Wh1plash96 for showing me this fantastic community.
