Ryse: The Empire could be a real or fake sequel, but we hope it's real

Sequel rumors pop up all the time, and apparently Ryse: The Empire is the newest one to make the rounds. An image popped up on Twitter which was taken from some sort of conference or event. It showed the name Ryse: The Empire and also had the Cryengine logo at the bottom. It’s the first rumor for a sequel after the original sequel was scrapped following Crytek’s financial troubles. Hopefully this is true, as you’ll remember we were the first ones to find three separate easter eggs in the game, which resulted in me getting a signed copy of the game from Mike Ybarra and the Microsoft team. Marius Titus was a great character, but unfortunately won’t be returning for the sequel. Let us know what you think below.

New FH3 legendary BarnFind Location + Car!

With the most recent update to Forza Horizon 3 Following the launch of the Logitech G DLC Car pack came a new “Legendary Barn find”. This Legendary Barn find is found Just to the left of surfers paradise, Close to another previous barn find in the game. The location will always be the same but to give you a general area on where to look on the map i included the location on the map where the barn find shows up. The little dirt road ontop of it takes you directly to location as long as you follow it and kep an eye out its hard to miss.   After you collect the barn find you will receive a cut scene with some dialog talking about your find, etc. This new barn find gives you the Tiger Sunbeam, a small two door convertible British motoring car designed by Carroll Shelby, the man behind some of the most famous mustangs, and Shelby Cobras. After waiting awhile for the sunbeam to be finished so you can receive it you will be prompted to go back to the garage and check it out, once you go into your barn finds to collect it you will be shown how the car looks restored.     Hopefully this quick little guide can help you if your stuck looking, or even if you are curious as to what the DLC barn find is. Enjoy your new classic car, on the house courtesy of the poor man who left it sit in a barn.

Possible white PlayStation 4 Slim leaked

Some interesting PlayStation 4 rumors are going around and it could be something Sony has planned for the future in 2017. We have caught 2 people talk about a white PS4 Slim on twitter but then deleted their tweets, while one of them was Zhuge that tweeted about it he still was not sure if it were real or not. We snagged one picture that you see above which was a reply to one of his tweets. We are not 100% sure where they got this picture from, but it sure seems real and not a fake. Insiders are skeptical about this and we have yet to hear anything from Sony or other websites at this moment. It would make sense for Sony to make a different colored console as every company does like Microsoft with the Xbox One S they have a great variety of consoles to choose from now and Sony may want to do the same. Stay tuned for updates about this.

Halo 5's Forge Update is Massive! New Details Announced

UPDATE: Halo 5’s forge update is now available on PC, almost 9 GB. Source: Reddit Halo 5’s forge to begin with was a huge improvement comparing to the most previous version in Halo 4 and Halo Reach combined. This next update is massive, includes over 650 new objects and it comes with 2 brand new maps that will be fan favorites as they were top requests. Tom French and Ske7ch of 343 industries made a walkthrough video of what will be coming to forge such as objects and new gametypes like Race, King Of The Hill, and Battle Golf a brand new mode coming to Halo. To the fans that like to script in Halo 5’s forge they made some new changes for it: Action Target – This poweful new system lets actions modify up to 64 other objects at once!! SIXTY-FOUR! Actions can be performed on other objects and even players and filters can be actioned on exaclty the object you want like team, spawn order, object variable, boundary contenst, and more. You can even select one or more nearest, furthest or random objects on the list. Action targets are availalbe in most original and new script actions and to retain backwards compatiblity with existing actions it will default to “THIS” object. Multiple Actions – scripts can now have four actions per condition! Script Options – For each script there are options that change their behavior. Script Disabling – Forgers now have the abilty to disable scripting at three different levels: Map level, object level, and script level. Enhanced Scripts – Enhancements made to previously existing script actions. For example, force “On/Off” for spawn, turn on/off the position of object(s) being reset, some animated objects such as variants of the pistons can be told to animate to a position, and now you can move one object to another. New Conditions – Multiple new and necessary scripting conditions have been added such as triggering events off of score changes, triggering events at specific times in a round and, finally, checking when players or objects enter, exit, or remain inside the boundary on an object. New Actions – Lots of new tools have been added for manipulating objects, scoring, and more. Another really cool feature coming to Halo 5 in this update is the ability to make your own gametypes. “It’s something we talked about wanting to do even before we shipped Forge last year because we wanted to create our own modes that wouldn’t necessarily fit into what Arena was doing. Through social media we’ve seen lots of people asking for ways to score so we felt we were on the right track. With Arena not having enough time to build everything the community wanted (which is everything) it worked out in our favor to leverage both teams to push Minigame even further than the Forge team could have done by itself. The idea really seemed to click with everyone and the teams were really motivated to keep building and refining the functionality.” Some more changes/tweaks coming as well: File Recovery – The “Recovery” feature from Halo 5: Forge PC has been brought into the Xbox One! This creates an auto-save of your map when disconnected from the server and, when starting a Forge session, you’ll be presented with an option to work on the most recent manually saved version or pick-up with the auto-saved server version. Machinima Mode – This has now been enabled within Forge which should be great for taking those sexy screenshots of your level or prefabs without having to use a camera or go into Theater mode. Material Overlays – Three different material overlays have been added to change the look of your objects: Shellac, Emissive, and Blend Control. {RESET MAP STATE} Map Option – Restores object states, clears, variables, etc. Custom Games – Added new enchancements to the Custom Game settings such as “Spawn in Vehicle,” “All weapons in Loadouts,” “Max Players,” “Allow Observers,” “Privacy,” and “Minigame” – a simple mode for building your own custom game modes in. Halo 5 splitting Arena into Ranked/Social Playlists

343 Industries is launching Halo 5’s biggest update since launch tomorrow, December 8th. Not only will forge be a big part of it , but updating matchmaking and making it fair for competitive and casual players. For the first time since Halo 3, they are splitting Arena into Ranked and Social Playlists. “We want to continue fostering and embracing player choice, and this is a big step towards that. This new split gives us a nice suite where people can go – do they want to ‘lean forward’ or do they want to ‘lean back’? If they want to ‘lean forward,’ we’ve got the Ranked experience for them. Maybe you’re in there for a couple hours one night and then you want to cool down, then you can jump over to Social for more of a relaxed experience. The current plan is to keep both sides living and updated, and do everything we can to keep both as fresh as possible. We’re going to engage the community, especially in the social playlists, and experiment more to see what people like, what people don’t like, and listen to their feedback. Team Arena will continue to reflect the existing maps and modes played in the Halo Championship Series. Here are the playlists being added to Ranked: Team Arena Slayer Doubles Snipers – New playlist Swat Breakout FFA Social playlist: Team Skirmish Action Sack Infection Big Team Battle Triple Team Super Fiesta Shotty Snipers Grifball They also updated the Grifball playlists with brand new maps and they are pretty hot looking You can read more about the update here

Announcing Rectify Gaming 3 Year Celebration

3 years ago I was a 16 year old planning out this gaming website and I still amaze my self every year how the hell I started it in the first place. I was just a young teenager with very little money around Christmas time planning out something that was just supposed to be a website to talk games and build a community with live streaming and doing Youtube videos. So much has changed since I started out Rectify Gaming in 2013, we have so much people on our team and had a lot of others who contributed to the team and if it weren’t for the people that helped make Rectify Gaming where it is today I would not be making this post. Starting everything from the number zero at the same time and making them grow to numbers you dream of is a lot of hard work and not everyone can do that, whenever I think back to how it all started I am thankful of all the support everyone has shown the past few years. To celebrate the hard work this year we are thrilled to announce our 3 year celebration stream. This years celebration is the biggest one we’ve had out of all the past ones. It will be 48 hours long with lots of giveaways once again, I will not say which games yet until we get closer to the date. Not only will it be a stream celebrating 3 years, but we are going to be raising money for Extra Life as many of you know our stream for Extra Life on November 5th was a success with raising $1,000, we don’t have a set goal but we look to add to that number. Our very own TwiztedShotzTV who has been here for 2 years will be opening up the stream at midnight on December 17th and our very own Temporal Enigma who has been here for just over a year closes the stream on December 18th. It will all be on our Twitch.  Come join us for a fun series of events that weekend as we have some exciting announcements regarding the future of Rectify Gaming. I haven’t been this excited since the launch of the website in 2013. Get Rectified. Check back for updates.

Forza Horizon 3 Logitech G Car Pack Review

Forza horizon 3 recently got a December DLC Car Pack “Logitech G Car Pack” being its official title, and given the clues this month it wasnt easy to make guesses on what the potential DLC cars could of been. You can read what i believed were the next dlc cars linked here (http://rectifygaming.com/fh3-december-dlc-cluesguesses/) and judging by my answers, you can tell it was a tough decision on choosing what i honestly felt were solid answers. That being said, im surprised with the decisions of cars chosen for this DLC pack and happy to say that they finally have brought back one of the most underrated cars in Forza Motorsport 4 released way back in October 11th, 2011 The 1992 Toyota Supra MK3 (Being a different year and motor) But still the same chassis i was ecstatic to get my hands back on the magnificent car it was portrayed to be all these years. That being said, Here is my Small, to the point review of each car without full detail, and if you want abit more detail you can watch the Review i did for the DLC pack and get a visual representation of all the cars and abit more detail on how i feel personally about the cars. The video will be located at the end of this Typed up, Shorter version of this review.     2014 Morgan 3 Wheeler The Morgan 3 Wheeler, Nothing like the reliant robin it is very stable for a three wheel car (stock) and can be swapped with a motorcycle engine for more power. It is a very unique feeling using a car so small and out of the ordinary, and i look forward to the creativity of Playground games Car choices and branch out of there comfort zone. Overall its a unique car to have in your collection just to be diffrent, Fairly stable for a 3 Wheel car and very fun to throw around the desert for some good old fashion fun. 1965 Pontiac GTO     The 1965 Pontiac GTO, oh how a classic car can make you feel classy using. Stock 4 Speed transmission, Decent amount of horsepower, but if you try to corner at high speed you will not make it out alive. The GTO is a fantastic looking car, and its visually stunning, but its an old classic car so its best purpose is cruising, and drag racing. Who doesn’t like a high horsepower classic car?   2015 Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 Concept   A Bentley concept car, it doesn’t get any better than this for visuals. Oh how beautiful this car looks inside and out, the interior is futuristic and it shows what Bentley is capable of. The sound of this beast of a motor is one of the nicest, smoothest sounds when cruising but when you go full throttle it wakes up and sounds like a beast.   2017 Jaguar F-Pace S   Jaguar has made an suv that feels like a sports car, yes its very heavy and not super fast but it has the cornering of a sports car, it sounds amazing and can also be turned into a Rallycross truck and speed through the dunes.   1996 HSV GTS R  Visually, its definitely an old spec car from 1996, the HSV GTS R Sounds better than it looks, but it can for sure be a sleeper drag car, or even a rally car since it is well planted and actually fairly fast. It’s appearance can make you question the capability of the car and be astonished at the capability of it. 2017 Mercedes AMG GT R   The best sounds car of the pack for sure, definitely a power hungry vehicle and looks gorgeous going down the long mountainous Australian roads. Winding roads, A loud Mercedes, and your buddies terrorizing the streets can lead to a fun, yet destructive mayhem. One of the most grip based cars in the game, making it feel like it belongs on a Forza Motorsport Game. 1992 Toyota Supra 2.0 GT Twin Turbo Now on to my favorite car, The holy grail of the pack personally. The Toyota Supra is such an iconic name when its heard around the automotive community, its everyone’s dream car and just stunning to look at and drive. Its a great all around car, drifting, grip racing, drag racing, Even rally cross. Probably one of my favorite DLC cars so far just because i am so attached to it.   The DLC pack is a solid pack, There is a variety of cars for many different types of play styles, in general the DLC is well worth the money, it’s solid but rough on the edges i feel like some of the cars will become untouched sooner than most because there isn’t alot of use for some of them.
