Forza Horizon 3's January Car Pack to feature BMW i8
With the launch of Forza Horizon 3 in September, fans of the franchise both new and old were disappointed at some of the omissions from the car list. Two major requests that spring up in every Car Pack trailer comment section are for the Bugatti Chiron and the BMW i8. Both are fast and extremely furious, and we now know the latter is coming in 2017. On their official Twitter account, the Forza Motorsport team confirmed that the all-electric BMW i8 will be gracing Horizon 3’s digital Australia with its presence in January. While the tweet doesn’t offer any other hints at what is coming along with the i8, it’s good to know this high-speed electric vehicle is coming in the new year. Source: Forza Motorsport via Twitter

Forza Motorsport 7 confirmed by Fanatec CEO.
Fanatec CEO Thomas Jackermeier revealed on the Fanatec forum that he was due for a meeting with Turn10 to discuss a few things that could be done for the next game in the series. “If you would like to add something, please let me know,” Jackermeier posted, “Please tell me any wheel/pedal/shifter related issues you have in FM6 and let us know what new features you would like to see supported in FM7.” The community quickly responded with great feedback such as handbrake support, automatic steering ratio adjustments depending on the car, and improved force feedback, Thomas returned to the forums with a rather interesting update: I had a very good meeting with them and I am happy to report that there is a good chance that a lot of things will change for the better in upcoming FM titles. There is a new person who is responsible for physics and force feedback and this is a “wheel guy”. He is a real world racer with car engineering background and very familiar with PC simracing. The PC market seems very important for them and they are aware that this market is dominated by wheel users. Therefore we will intensify our co-operation and get the best out of the games for wheel users. I cannot confirm at this point what features can be implemented but the interest to do so is very high. Turn10 or Microsoft haven’t denied Thomas statement meaning Forza 7 is likely happening and due 2017 for Xbox One, Scorpio and possibly Windows 10 as a Play Anywhere Title. Infinity Ward testing SBMM for Infinite Warfare.
Infinity Ward accidentally pushed a playlist update for PS4 publicly revealing interesting stuff about its newest Call of Duty entry. The picture you see below is DEV Playlist for Activision / IW employees to test out game features before they go public for launch. Looking closely, you see a playlist called “SBMM TESTING” meaning Skill Based MatchMaking. It’s the same matchmaking Destiny has been using for a while. If it gets implemented onto Infinite Warfare, players can expect skill was being factored into the matchmaking over a good connection. This system was previously used in Advanced Warfare by Sledgehammer but later toned down due to angry players. Source: CharlieIntel
