CES 2017: Mass Effect: Andromeda gets new gameplay footage and features detailed

Earlier today, Bioware’s General Manager Aaryn Flynn announced the Mass Effect: Andromeda release date for this March. Tonight, at CES 2017 in Las Vegas Nvidia revealed a number of new items and pieces of technology, one of which was some new gameplay for Mass Effect: Andromeda. Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang took the stage and began the night by mentioning some of advancements in technology like AI deep learning, network advancements and minor robotic locomotion. Aaryn Flynn joined him on stage and discusssed the new things that Mass Effect: Andromeda was doing with a new, deep story. A short gameplay video of only about a couple minutes was shown detailing a loyalty mission for your companion Peebee. In the video, we see some quick new abilities such as the Omnit-tool flamethrower. In addition, Flynn also revealed the new dynamic character class change system. For the first time, Mass Effect: Andromeda will let you change your class on the fly, which will in turn automatically adjust your abilities and mechanics. Flynn did detail how the team would be able to travel so far away at faster than light speeds even though the game takes place in between Mass Effect 2 and 3, humans discovered element Zero on Mars. This transforms your mass into zero, which in turn allows you to travel at light speed. The issue of how this exists during the last two games, yet somehow wasn’t used in those games, was not clarified however. After the video, no more information was revealed and Nvidia continued the show. For now, we’ll have to wait until March 21st to get our hands on Andromeda for those in North America. The UK release date will be two days later on March 23rd. What do you think of the new footage? Let us know https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZxSscSPDyM

Super Dungeon Tactics Review

Game- Super Dungeon Tactics Release Date- December 14, 2016 Platform- PC Developer/Publisher- Underbite Games Price- $19.99 Overview Super Dungeon Tactics is a strategic turn-based game where you “create” your own guild and embark on quests all around Crystalia. I use create lightly because you do not choose what characters you pick up. You get more characters as the story progresses. However, you can edit their stats and items. As the guild master, you choose what bounties you’d like to take along with what characters you’d like to send on the quest. During your quest you fight the Dark Consul’s forces. Each character has a different look and personality which matches the rest of the game. The atmosphere is pleasing to the player without being in the way and is quite playable by all ages. Those that have played RPG styled games before can appreciate the look of the game. Gameplay The gameplay was at first extremely fun, but slowly became very repetitive and boring. As a FPS player, I often found myself bored out of my mind. Some turns took forever I did enjoy the RNG. However, It kept gameplay different and unique at times. Each round dice rolls help apply stat boosts and debuffs to your characters allowing strategical changes to fit the current round. Controls   All of your actions are done with the spacebar and mouse. It provides an accessibility that doesn’t require rebinding of keys like many other games. The left mouse button is used to attack or move your character. The middle mouse button zooms in and allows movement around the level. The right mouse button pans the camera left and right. Spacebar is hit to change between actions like attacking, moving, or ending a turn. It’s also important to note, there is no order to the attack and movement options. Achievements Sadly, This game as of now (Patch 1.1.1) does not have any steam achievements. Pro’s Simple and easy to play Very stable game Variety of characters Con’s Combat was very repetitive after a while Occasionally poorly placed camera angles No autosave [rwp-review id=”0″]
