South Park: the Fractured But Whole not coming to Nintendo Switch after all
Earlier this week, the South Park official Twitter account posted a GIF from an episode where Cartman freezes himself to skip three weeks waiting for the Nintendo Wii, captioning the GIF with “Nin-ten-do. I’m coming. I’m coming Nin-ten-do #blizzard2017.” The tweet is embedded below. Nin-ten-do. I'm coming. I'm coming, Nin-ten-do #blizzard2017 pic.twitter.com/FC4xIDKWkK — South Park (@SouthPark) March 13, 2017 The problem with this tweet was that it convinced some hopeful Nintendo Switch owners that the upcoming game, South Park: The Fractured But Whole, would be launching on Switch as well as PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. IGN, however, confirmed otherwise with the studio behind the game telling IGN the game “won’t be coming to [the Nintendo] Switch.” As IGN notes, it was likely just a reference to the TV episode and a poke at the blizzard currently burying the east coast of the United States. The South Park game was initially delayed past its original first-quarter planned launch, now slated to land after April 1. If we learn more, or if stories change, we’ll keep you updated. Retailers List Assassin's Creed: Empire For October 2017
A couple weeks ago a small picture leaked of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed title which is to be called “Empire”. Recently a couple of foreign retailers have listed this title for October-November 2017. The game is listed for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC but no Nintendo Switch as of right now. The next AC title has been rumored to be taken place in Egypt and with this name Empire it’s entirely possible. Not only did these retailers list the possible launch month, but they might have leaked a special edition for the game call “Gold” or just the standard. We will get official word on the future of Assassin’s Creed come E3 time but for now we speculate. Source
