New teaser for Project Scorpio could indicate its release date.
The good folks at Xbox have been teasing its fans little by little by putting teasers for Project Scorpio – Microsoft’s ‘beefed up‘ Xbox One. Spotted by a Twitter user, then reported by WindowsCentral, the teaser includes set of numbers, and letters. The teaser says “X10S101-317”, or “X105101-317” – WindowsCentral theory believes X10S/X105 may refer to console’s build, while “101317” could point to Scorpio’s release date – October 13th, 2017. (IGN screenshot) Check out both teasers below. Xbox’s E3 is happening in four days – June 11th at 10 PM BST, 5 PM EST, and 2 PM PT. Microsoft is revealing everything related to Project Scorpio, hopefully new IPs, new accessories and more. We’ll have to wait and see more, and we reached out to Perfect World to try and get more information. We’ll let you know what we have. Stay tuned.

Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2 Announced, First Episode Releases Next Month
Jesse is back everyone. Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2 has been announced and the first episode Hero in Residence will release on Xbox One, PS4, PC and mobile devices next month, July 11th. Just as other Telltale games recently, a physical disc will be available a few months later this fall. Minecraft: Story Mode – Season 2 continues Jesse’s saga in a five-part, narrative-driven, episodic game series developed by Telltale in collaboration with Mojang and members of the Minecraft community. Though players’ choices from the first season will carry over into season two, this new season will be accessible to both returning fans and newcomers alike. This second season will also include Telltale’s unique multiplayer ‘Crowd Play’ feature, which allows friends and family to engage with the adventure together by helping to decide the direction of the story from any mobile device with an online connection. Now that Jesse and the gang have vanquished the Wither Storm, saved the world, and become totally super famous heroes, life has gotten a bit more…complicated. With more responsibilities and less time for adventure, old friendships have started to fade – at least until Jesse’s hand gets stuck in a creepy gauntlet that belongs to an ancient underwater temple. Together with old pals and new comrades alike, Jesse embarks on a brand new journey filled with tough choices, good times, and at least one temperamental llama. More information to come.
The Escapists 2 Online Multiplayer Trailer Reveals New Features
After the overwhelming success of the first game, The Escapists 2 will launch later this year and finally have online multiplayer. A feature much requested by the game’s fans, The Escapists 2 will allow for online co-op, a Vs. mode as well as allowing for drop-in / drop-out multiplayer. This will let players jump into an existing game, and help out teams which have players disconnect partially through the escape. The first game was downloaded over four million times, so there should be plenty of availability online. In addition to PS4, Xbox One and PC, The Escapists 2 will also be launching on the Nintendo Switch for the first time later this year. There will still be the classics of the first game such as crafting tools out of dropped items and transforming a spoon into a tool that is actually useful. Since multiplayer is a new feature in The Escapists 2, Team17 implemented some escape routes that will need multiple players in order to pull off. Even though you can play through the entire game solo rather than with friends online, they will be necessary should you want to pull off certain, more extreme escapes. You can check out the trailer below as it details the different types of modes to be included in the game. No release date has been announced yet, but it will release later this year.

Sony is considering making a Pro DualShock 4
Every company learns from others even how successful they are and in this case Sony has acknowledged the Xbox Elite Controller. The premium pad may be pricey, but it’s proved popular among core gamers – the kind of people you’d expect to cough up for products like the PS4 Pro. But Sony’s been reluctant to offer a similar option, even though it sounds like it’s still very much a point of conversation in the boardroom. “The idea of a premium interface in exactly the same manner as we now have a premium console has a lot of logic to it, and there are such products already available in the market from third parties,” PlayStation Europe’s chief Jim Ryan told TIME. “But it’s definitely something we continue to look at.” The odds for this to happen very soon are high right now so we shouldn’t expect this to be at E3 this year, but maybe PSX later this year.
