Telltale Announces Walking Dead Collection

Announced today by Telltale, they will be releasing  a collection of all 19 Walking Dead episodes in one game. The collecting will have Season One, Season Two, 400 Days and the Michonne miniseries all visually enhanced from their original releases. This collection will also include the latest season, The Walking Dead: A New Frontier. Also announced in the post by Telltale, they will have Gary Whitta, who’ve wrote for Episode 4 of  Season One, returning to write for the final season after working on big picture like The Book of Eli and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. With Whitta coming back to work on the last chapters of Clementine’s story, he had to say: Collaborating with Telltale on the first season of Clementine’s journey through the world of The Walking Dead was one of the highlights of my career, so reuniting with them to now bring her story to a close with this final season feels like a homecoming. Clementine has become not just one of the most compelling characters in the Walking Dead pantheon but one of the great video game characters of all time. I hope we’re able to do justice to her and to her millions of fans. This one feels special. The Walking Dead Collection will be available for Xbox One and Playstation 4 on December 5th, 2017 for $49.99. Source: Telltale

Special Xbox One X boot animation has been unveiled.

Originally hinted by Xbox’s Albert Penello, it is now confirmed that Xbox One X (and Project Scorpio LE) will have an exclusive boot animation, Major Nelson announced on his official Twitter page. At the start of booting your Xbox One X, you will see the X’s CPU screen similar to the footage Microsoft used to unveil Xbox One X back at E3 2017. It’s a nice little display exclusive to all Xbox One X buyers since the console won’t be getting any exclusive games besides VR titles. Here is a preview of the special boot animation that only Xbox One X owners will see. Only a few more days until launch. pic.twitter.com/KSos2N2gGB — Larry Hryb, Gamer Emeritus 📱⌨️🖱️🎮 (@majornelson) November 1, 2017 What do you think of this screen? EA Access may finally be coming to PlayStation 4, EA CEO hints.

Durning EA’s latest earnings call, CEO Andrew Wilson talks about EA Access and how it could finally be coming to PlayStation 4. This is what he had to say: “Our subscription player base continues to grow, and you should expect us to continue driving this model to more platforms going forward” EA Access was first released back in August 2014 for the Xbox One and expanded to PC platform in 2016 with Origin Access. Sony said that they did not think the service provided a good value to PS4 customers and declined it back when this program was introduced on Xbox One. Nowadays, with the new Sony Interactive Entertainment boss John Kodera, he thinks EA Access really does bring a good value to consumers and we may see EA Access on Sony’s platform. Would you like to see this subscription available to all PS4 owners? Let us know down in the comments. Source: PushSquare

Demand for Xbox One X "is super high" says Panos Panay

Microsoft has touted the Xbox One X for the hardcore gamer who expects the very high-grade hardware, visuals, and performance possible on a console delivering 4K, HDR, and 60FPS in a lot of games. Less than seven days away from its launch day, Panos Panay, Corporate Vice President of devices at Microsoft, spoke with CNBC saying, “the demand is super high, we are very, very excited about Xbox One X right now” He added “I won’t compare it to other consoles. What I’ll say is the demand for Xbox One X right now is exactly where we anticipated, even more so when you see that excitement for the product… this is something that resonates with gamers.” The demand for the World’s most powerful console is so high that Microsoft has indicated consumers to expect shortages of supplies in some regions. U.K.’s Xbox head Harvey Eagle said in a recent interview with Gamesindustry.biz that Xbox “can’t guarantee that stock will be available in launch week for people to just walk into a store and pick up.” One example of this was the Limited Edition Project Scorpio for Xbox One selling out everywhere within two to five days. Xbox and we Rectify are warning you to grab the console as soon as possible before your local retailer sells out. Keep checking us out on Twitter for more Xbox news.
