Line Of Xbox-Branded Body Wash, Deodorant Revealed

Branded collaborations between companies is always a neat combination when related to the gaming market, typically bringing a collection of clothing inspires by a certain title or sometimes even bringing foods to life that we would only see from the respected game. As we have already witnessed Sony and their partnership with Nike for the PG-2 sneakers last year, it seems that Microsoft is planning on creating their own unique line of items, to say the least. This week, Microsoft announced their partnership with Lever, which is the parent company of AXE and LYNX to create Xbox-designed deodorant and shower gel. “Lynx Xbox is a fresh scent of pulsing green citrus, featuring top notes of kaffir lime and winter lemon, aromatic herbal middle notes of mint and sage, and woody bottom notes of patchouli and clearwood,”the official description says. “Containing a range of natural essential oils, the Xbox Lynx range comes with a sleek new look and features a body spray, deodorant, and shower gel.” Deprived from the bottles provided above, the labels read “lift your game,” suggesting players that using the product will help with their overall outcome when playing after their daily hygiene routine. The vibrantly green substances in the containers does nod to Microsoft’s brand, but what will these actually smell like as scents have not been printed on the bottles? Seeing that Microsoft is interested towards tapping into other markets with their Xbox brand, this is a pretty odd choice of how the company plans to spread the green platform. Australia and New Zealand will be first to receive the Xbox-branded cleansing line later this Summer: no confirmation has been made for the products debut on other continents. Upcoming Update For Celeste Will Offer 100 Levels, Creator Shares

Remember around the transition from 2018 to 2019 where Celeste creator Matt Thorson began detailing an upcoming chapter that the team over at Matt Makes Games has planned to drop sometime in 2019? The initially promised “early 2019” free content drop for the year old platformer has grew bigger than even the developers expected, Matt Thorson revealed on Twitter last week. The studio head detailing that the forthcoming Chapter 9: Farewell downloadable content will be roughly over 100 levels. https://twitter.com/MattThorson/status/1134571128393879552 Thorson also went to reassure fans that the reason the update still has no official release date is due to the fact that the studio is not completely sure when then DLC will be fully ready to ship. “We don’t like to talk release dates until we’re 100% sure.” Adding on that the update already missing the game’s year anniversary on January 25th and dodging the early 2019-aimed launch happed after seeing how expansive the project evolved into compared to the original plan for the next chapter. Seeing that Thorson already clarified that the new levels will be extra difficult for the farewell chapter: with there being more than 100 different levels to play, this will for sure make fans both excited and anxious at the same time when the developer is ready to release the DLC. Celeste is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Report: Upcoming Title From Ubisoft Roller Champions Leaked

Attention jumping to the latest leak that happened just yesterday which seemingly have revealed a potential announcement for Ubisoft’s press conference next week with Watch Dogs: Legion. But last week, another possible title surfaced online which could be another title the publisher planned to reveal at E3 this coming Monday. On ResetEra, user vestan details that a new title from Ubisoft is currently in development which focuses around roller derby titled Roller Champion. The unannounced title could very be Ubisoft’s own take to combat Epic Games’ recently acquired Rocket League. Shared in the post, the title is said to be an online only title and will offer the traditional modes to choose from: quick play, ranked, private, and tournament. For gameplay, it was explained that players will have either the Price or Flick options which alters your X & Y axis sensitivity when playing. Weirdly enough, the control scheme for the game was also leaked which displays options like passing, dodging, ball cam, and emotes (what a surprise). Looking at the layout and some of the symbols on the controller, it is pretty evident that the game will at least be playable on Xbox One; along with assuming PlayStation 4, PC, and Switch will also receive the game as well. The post also presents the layout of some of the roller rinks that will be available in the games as seen in the video provided by vestan. Compared to other titles published by Ubisoft, the visuals are simpler with less detail, but the renders are still impressive nonetheless. There’s no word on who the developer is for the title or when a proper announcement will be made. It’s best to expect word on Roller Champions with the upcoming press conference which will start on June 10th at 1 PM PST / 4 PM EST. Source: Polygon
Rocksteady Will Not Be At E3 2019, Studio Head Reveals

Rumors have been on the steady rise surrounding what game Rocksteady Studios has next, but those alleged titles will stay rumors until the UK studio is ready to fully reveal what their upcoming project really is. And it seems that fans who have been patiently waiting will have to wait even longer as the developer will not be attending this year E3. Studio Head Sefton Hill announced on Twitter earlier today that Rocksteady will not be at this year’s event and will continue to work on their unannounced project. Hi all! A number of you have asked so we wanted to let you all know up front that @Rocksteadygames won't be showing at E3 this year. We’ll be watching as fans but remaining in London, hard at work on our next big project. Enjoy the show! — Sefton Hill (@Seftonhill) June 4, 2019 Rocksteady on the subject of their current title have only release a few pictures of the developer’s motion capture studio without truly disclosing what the game could possibly be. Since the release of Batman: Arkham Knight nearly four years ago, Rocksteady has silently been working on the next title without any true confirmation on the being of the title. The developer last year did not attend E3 also, but did share that the studio will be revealing the unnamed title “as soon as it’s ready.” But marking that statement almost a year ago now, it seems progress on the title was pretty early in development at the time and the studio could be very close for a reveal in the future seeing how long we have waited already. A previous job listing revealed that the next game from the studio will be a next gen title for upcoming hardware which is predicted to drop by late 2020, so the earliest we could get word on the game could be a launch title for the next line of consoles from Microsoft and Sony. What are your thoughts on what Rocksteady Studios has in the works?
