E3 2019: Year One Episodes For The Division 2 Detailed

Shortly after the launch of March’s The Division 2 from Massive Entertainment, Ubisoft laid out the first year of content that will be dropping into the post-apocalyptic District Columbia throughout the course of 2019. With Tidal Basin and later the release of the first raid for the game, Operation Dark Hours, this now leads to the three episodes that are planned to release in the coming weeks. Detailing that the first episode titled ‘D.C. Outskirts: Expeditions’ will take agents outside the nation’s capital with three new missions this July. The first bringing players to a presidential compound in the nearby woodlands outside of the nation’s capital to relieve a wrongdoing trader. Following with the next expedition taking place in the national zoo; giving players the objective to eliminate the remaining outcast leader. Lastly bringing players to the city’s Kenly College in search for a military convoy that went off the grid. Moving on to Episode Two, agents are given the objective to “secure what lies behind the wall of this last castle,” as Black Tusk operatives overtake the Pentagon. Paired with the episode is the announcement for the second raid that will be coming later in the Fall; no details on where the raid will be taking place were shared. Leasing to Episode Three where agents will be left to “engage in a manhunt” to search for the man that plans to keep humanity from bouncing back from what plagued the United States. Only showcasing a cinematic trailer that looks to take players to the Jersey Shore just across the Hudson River from Manhattan. If you have yet to get down time with The Division 2, I suggest you read up on our review for the game here. The Division 2 is out now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

E3 2019: Brawlhalla Is Getting Adventure Time Character Pack

It definitely shows Brawlhalla has slowly grown into one of the most talked brawlers in the esports scene the past year or two. On top of that, the acquisition of the game’s studio Blue Mammoth Games by Ubisoft definitely played a major role in what made the game it is today; especially looking at some of the characters that were added to the roster post-developer purchase. With Rayman being the first back in September following with Hellboy this past April coinciding with the film starring Stranger Thing’s David Harbour releasing around the same time, the next added bundle of characters seem to be thanks to the decision by the Canadian publisher. Revealed at Ubisoft’s press conference earlier today, it was announced that Adventure Time’s Finn, Jake, and Princess Bubblegum will be added to the roster of characters starting today. Paired with the new entries into Vallhala, Blue Mammoth revealed a new Buddy game mode and new stage ‘Tree Fort’, both inspired by the Cartoon Network television show. Brawlhalla is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC for free. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQWPLKHv2TU

E3 2019: Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey Discover Mode & Story Creator Mode Announced

Though Ubisoft confirmed prior to this year’s E3 that there will not be a flagship assassin’s Creed title at this year’s Ubisoft press conference, that doesn’t mean there is any news to share for the current title for the franchise. Just less than an hour before the event, Ubisoft revealed that Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey will be receiving both a Discovery Mode as like Assassin’s Creed: Origins and a newly announced Story Creator Mode also. What exactly is this Story Creator Mode? It’s exactly as it sounds; players will be able to create their own quests as you have already experienced in the Ancient Greek set title. Using a string of different characters and dialogue options to create new & unique experiences at anytime. Simply go to the Assassin’s Creed website and start making your quests here. Players will have up to 20 story slots to create their own journeys that players will have access to experience. And just like any other custom editor, there is a social page on the game’s menu to scroll through and rank what you play. The Story Creator Mode is available now for all available platforms and features cross-play, so matter the hardware you play on, you can try anyone’s custom story. As for the Discovery Mode, Ubisoft revealed that the education feature will be dropping in Ancient Greece later this fall for all platforms. Since the game’s  announcement at last year’s Bethesda Showcase, fans have been eager to see when exactly the follow-up title of Doom (2016) will be on store shelves. Though the developer did reveal official gameplay for the title later in 2018 at QuakeCon, there was still no confirmed date or even timeframe for when fans could expect the title to drop. Leading up this year’s press conference, id Software officially announced that the modern adaptation of Doom II will be coming later this Fall. E3 2019: Arkane Lyon Announces Deathloop

Following last year’s reveal from Dishonored developer Arkane Studios with Mooncrash for the studio’s 2017 survival thriller, Prey, the question was left for what exactly the studio has been working on the past year. Aw it was already revealed that the team at Arkane did help with the level design for MachineGames’ upcoming side story Wolfenstein: Youngblood, that still doesn’t really answer what is next from the French developer. At this most recent Bethesda Showcase, Arkane’s Game Director Dinga Bakaba and Art Director Sébastien Mitton revealed that the studio’s next title is a time-repeating, action-adventure title named Deathloop. Set on the “lawless” island of Blackreef between a feud of two assassins, you must explore and understand the cycle the two are trapped in as you attempt to escape the never-ending loop. The main basis that was deprived from the trailer inplies that dying will be a common place as you continue to play the game. Further than the reveal cinematic trailer, there is no other information regarding the title and no real gameplay was presented at the press conference. Deathloop has no set release date with no listed platforms. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXv5IDp8y74
