Batman Voice Actor for Arkham Origins Suggest Fans To Watch Tonight’s Game Awards

It is no secret that fans of Rocksteady Studios Batman Arkham franchise is deprived of a new installment since the last release dropping back in 2015 with Batman Arkham Knight. However, word of a new title taking place following the events of the latest game has surfaced tracing back to last year and more has unearthed since the initial leak. As for tangible information goes, it was in November 2018 that Warner Bros. Montreal’s Assistant Producer Valerie Vezina tweeted a redacted image of what looked to be a crest or symbol referencing to the hidden organization for the Court of Owls. This then led hungry fans to suspect that the game would be shown off at last year’s game Awards, but we know now a year later that did not happen. Following to this past Summer, Canadian developer Warner Bros. Montreal tweeted a GIF which flickered a few similar looking symbols imbedded in the celebratory post for Batman’s 80th anniversary. Which only fueled the fire from 2018 as fans instantly jumped on board with an announcement sometime soon. Even more, the creator for the Court of Owls story arc Scott Snyder teased the new project with a “bewarethecourtofowls” hashtag shortly after the initial tweet. Yet again, nothing was revealed. However, more information continued to seep out. Batman voice actor for Warner Bros. Montreal Batman Arkham Origins Roger Craig Smith later on teased to be working on something that is “totally not a video game.” But he does add on that he is too excited to share what this new project is that he can’t talk about due to signing and Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA).What really grabbed traction from the fanbase though is when employees at Warner Bros began joining in on the joke on Twitter. And even still we still have no news on this alleged title. But that wait might actually be over this time as Roger Craig Smith once again tweets suggesting his followers to watch this year’s Game Awards show later this evening. Adding more filler to this cake, Smith himself also tweets to be at the Xbox Plaza where the Game Awards will be going down tonight at the Microsoft Theater. Seemingly, chances of this new unannounced project does look to finally be arriving as the stars are finally aligning for tonight’s show. What truly tops this potential announcement, though, is that a domain registered for “ArkhamLegacy” has been updated this week. Of course, entering the site will only bring you to an unfinished version that has yet to properly be updated. Most likely will stay that way until following the suspected announcement that will go down tonight. The 2019 Game Awards will commence at 5:30 PM PST / 8:30 PM EST.

Skellboy Release Date Gets Pushed A Month Ahead To January 2020

It was just this past August during the first Indie World presentation at Gamescom that developer Ukiami Games announced that pixelated dungeon crawler Skellboy will be coming to Nintendo Switch later this Winter. However, the game was planned to launch on December 3, but was unfortunately met with an abrupt change of plans just a week before the game’s initially scheduled release. In a press release provided by the game’s publisher Fabraz , the game did face some obstacles that required the team to need another month before the game officially ship, pushing the release into January next year. “Due to unforeseen complications we had to delay the release of Skellboy,” the joint document from the development team and publisher reads. “It will no longer release December 3rd but instead in January.” Despite the newly arranged timeframe for the title to release, The Fabraz Company nor Ukiami Games disclosed an approximate date for when the game will arrive next month. Fortunately, the publisher did state that due to the recent change of plans that Skellboy will launch with a 10% discount to compensate for the lengthened wait time. Interesting enough, the title is also listed for PC following the Switch release: but seeing that the Steam version was scheduled to release in 2020 as well following the initial Switch launch for December, it is expected that the PC port will come later as well. Speaking with the studio at PAX East earlier this year, the game’s Composer Bjoern Schellin shared with me that atop of the already developed set of side quests available in the game, that more are also planned to arrive in a post-launch update for the game later down the line. You can read my full feature for Skellboy by heading here. Skellboy is listed for Nintendo Switch and PC.
Latest Patch For Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Adds Photo Mode

Respawn Entertainment’s latest release with Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order instantly grabbed many players and fans of George Lucas’ film franchise as this new installment showed to bring great potential to the seemingly dying Star Wars video game reputation this generation. Ranging from interesting characters to involving gameplay, the title showed to be one that countless people are still talking about nearly a month into its release. This is proven through the game swiftly achieving the fastest selling title for publisher Electronic Arts in just two short weeks of the game releasing last month. Even more impressive, the project also brought in a surprising amount of units on the PC spectrum as the game launched on both Origin and Steam: that being a first for EA in nearly a decade. One characteristic that truly stood out for Jedi: Fallen Order was the visuals of the game. Being that this is Respawn’s first title outside of Source 2 by swapping the engine with Unreal Engine 4, the game blew players out of the water with in-depth texturing and atmospheric lighting as well as particle effects. But unfortunately, there was no proper way for players to capture some of their most intense or triumphant moments through the game itself. But thanks to the latest patch for the game, Photo Mode has been added with a handful of useful tools to capture some amazing shots through your experience with the game. Starting today, the added feature will launch for the game through a minimal client download patch which give users options like F-Stop, camera height & rotation inputs, and filters. However, Respawn did think ahead with the game’s apparent volumetric lighting by adding a spotlight which can help better light the composition when getting the right picture. Using an artificial light source can be beneficial if the setting shows to be too dark and is possible to be executed well if uses properly for the respect instance. Another requested feature that has been added through the latest patch is the ability to “remove a specific part of Cal’s lightsaber.” Reasoning for the team giving this feature a vague description is due to this being connected to the core story progression, but will be understandable for those who have already reached this segment of the game. In the meantime, make sure to read our full review for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order by heading here. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is out now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Source: r/FallenOrder
Untitled Goose Game Coming To Xbox One And PlayStation 4 Next Week

House House’s Untitled Goose Game has graced the gaming sphere for these past few months on PC along with its release on Nintendo Switch back in September, but what about the game migrating to other platforms at some point? Well it looks that the team is ready to release both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the title just as winter is about to arrive. During this week’s final State of Play presentation for 2019, the game was initially expected to launch on Sony’s current console, but later on it was revealed that the game will also be arriving to Xbox as well the same day next Tuesday. You can watch the new trailer for the game just below: Discussion for the title being ported to other platforms have already emerged just months prior as the website for Untitled Goose Game states that these respected versions are already in development. Assumably, the game currently holds a year-long contract with Epic Games to have the project launch on their storefront, so other PC iterations are most likely expected to drop in Fall 2020. Applying to Steam, Itch, and MacOS for more context. However, it was also shared that the team is also looking to create a mobile port for the title also. While not specifically directing any implication that a version for smart phones are on the way, publisher Founder Cabel Sasser did respond to a questioning fan that House House is working to find a comfortable controls scheme regarding touch screen controls; that’s at least for iOS. Android on the other hand was not brought up during the initial discussion, so that could potentially be ruled out for future versions. Especially seeing the lineup of anticipated titles that is already filling Apple Arcade’s subscription catalogue, it would be expected to see Untitled Goose Game be another welcomed addition. Untitled Goose Game is available now for PC and Nintendo Switch; coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on December 17, 2019.
Release Date For Media Molecule’s Dreams Scheduled For Valentine’s Day

Just this past weekend developer Media Molecule announced that the Early Access segment of Dreams will officially end, and without even hesitating also forgot to shed some light on what’s in the future for the upcoming project. And to make things look even more unsettling at the time as well, it was later on confirmed that support for PlayStation VR would also not be primed for launch whenever that is. But despite players withheld from playing with virtual reality headsets in the coming months through Dreams, the title will in fact be coming in just a few short months, Sony Interactive Entertainment confirms. During today’s PlayStation State of Play live show, Dreams was revealed to officially arrive to PlayStation 4 this coming Valentine’s Day. The most apparent change is the new layout that was applied following directly after today’s announcement, so users should notice a new look for the app. Another exciting feature is the inclusion of public users to finally access the domain as the game is now out of Early Access. The Eliminator Is A Battle Royale Mode Crafted For Forza Horizon 4, Arrives Tomorrow

The team over at Playground Games treated their active fans back in June with the sudden content drop introducing Lego to the racing sim which offers new cars, tracks, and a plastic-coated look to the game’s setting of Great Britain. Since then, however, major add-on expansions or content drops of that caliber has been released for the 2018 title. While this coming scheduled Series 17 update does reintroduce Toyota-branded vehicles to the series, nothing that might grab masses of attention has been shared, until now. In a surprise announcement today, Playground Games announced that the team will be adding battle royale to the mix as soon as tomorrow. Revealing The Eliminator, pitting 72 players to race away from a closing zone if falling behind. Here is what the description reads for the approaching mode: “The Eliminator invites up to 72 players to face-off within an arena set in the open world of Britain. Eliminating one another in head-to-head races to earn upgrades and a chance to pick up faster cars. Arena walls contract throughout the game, forcing players closer together until a final white-knuckle race among the survivors determines the winner.” Other additions that will be included with tomorrow’s update for Forza Horizon 4 offer new challenges and events for the Festival Playlist as this month focuses on the Renault. As well as a bevy of new quick chat options centered around The Eliminator mode and some themed for the arrival of the 1998 Toyota Supra RZ. Are you planning on returning to Forza Horizon 4 for the new battle royale mode? Forza Horizon 4 is out now for Xbox One and Windows 10.
Nintendo Encourages Users To Watch The Game Awards

Today will officially commence the end of 2019 for the video game industry as this year’s annual Game Awards goes live tomorrow evening. While we reflect on some of the greatest achievements that was produced this year and watch what titles deserve their awards for the respect nominee, we will also witness some projects that are to come later in the upcoming future. And just in the eve of The Game Awards, Nintendo has tweeted about tomorrow’s award ceremony, encouraging users to watch the show tomorrow to “celebrate a great year in gaming.” While the post might seem to be innocent enough, this could easily be a ploy for the company to suggest that there will be an announcement primed for tomorrow’s show. Nintendo has a history of major reveals with the yearly live show as seen with prior broadcasts: like in 2017 with the announcement of PlatinumGames’ Bayonetta 3 and last year in 2018 with Atlus’ Persona 5 protagonist Joker joining the battle for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. As for what might be produced from this year’s show, it cannot be dictated what Nintendo will reveal during the event. Looking at fan speculation throughout the community, countless users would suggest that we will see the final character announcement for the first Fighter Pass for Smash Ultimate. Now that Terry Bogard has settled into the game’s roster, this would seem like a fair opportunity to reveal the last addition for the cast of DLC fighters. Some more precarious predictions would be the upcoming sequel for Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Fans are using the same pattern that can be seen with the release of Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask: since both are using the same engine essentially, the second installment would come a lot short than the initial development of the first game. Ultimately, there is no basis for this conjecture so the chances are slim as well for that prediction as well. One tangible rumor that has been floating around since last year’s Game Awards was the announcement of Metroid Prime Trilogy. Known faces from the industry are aware of its existence and its still a mystery as to why it has yet to be officially revealed by Nintendo. Especially as Metroid Prime 4 will be launch at a later date due to its restart in development, now would be better than ever for fans to get back in motion before the game release. Interesting enough, former Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime will be presenting during the live show at tomorrow’s Game Awards. Although he will most certainly not be revealing anything Nintendo-related, it is a coincidence that he will be at the show. What do you think might be revealed by Nintendo this year at The Game Awards? The 2019 Game Awards will go live on Thursday December 12th at 5:30 PM PST / 8:30 PM EST.
