Ubisoft Confirms Scale Of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Will Be Smaller Compared To Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

On the topic of a new Assassin’s Creed game and the said game will be releasing on a new line of gaming consoles at the end of the year, it is expected that the title would out do its predecessor, right? Well actually, that does not happen to be the case for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. In response to the game’s setting of merging Norway, Scandinavia, and England, Ubisoft tells the scale to be toned down in contrast to the 2018’s release Odyssey. Ubisoft’s Malek Taffaha, Head of Communications for Ubisoft in the Middle East shares that the coming Nordic experience for the Assassin’s Creed saga will be less bloated than the recent entry released by Ubisoft Quebec. Taffaha tweeted the details which was then translated by VG24/7, but since then the post has been retracted. FYI, it won’t be the longest or biggest game in the series. They addressed criticism on this one. Although some fans will be discouraged to learn that the game will not be as dramatic in scope as the previous Ancient Greece installment, the news is reassuring to others. Many fans who played the game endlessly, including myself, found that the game actually happened to be overly big to an unnecessary extent for one entry. Granted, there was a year break, but it was overwhelming with the amount of territory to claim for returning players with limited time. But despite the more condensed title, Ubisoft did clarify in a separate report elsewhere to be filling the game to the brim with relevant content suited to the time period. For instance, players will find themselves working alongside the main storyline to form a strong settlement of other Viking descent when travelling through western Europe. Even more, the team shares that there are plenty of raids on English (Saxon) strongholds that are littered throughout the landscape of the game’s map for players to indulge in as well. Players can also find themselves decorating their male or female protagonist which can be submitted online for players to use in their own save also. You can read the full report by heading here. Microsoft Comments On Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Performance For Xbox Series X, Shares Developers Choose The Game’s Outcome

Yesterday ended on a high note what put fans on the edge when discovering the performance for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. What in particular occurred followed a report from IGN which stated that the coming holiday 2020-sheduled title would be a performance-limited release as the game on the advertised Xbox Series X will run at native 4K with 30 frames per second. Instantly, users online became vocal to the upsetting discovery behind the new game on a next-generation system. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will run at a minimum of 30 FPS. On Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, we are committed to offer the best experience to our players by immersing them in the most beautiful worlds and environments we could create, and leveraging not only the graphics enhancements offered by the next generation of consoles, but also faster loading times and the new architectures,” Ubisoft reveals to the video game outlet yesterday. This drew some controversy since Microsoft since the initial announcement of the Xbox Series X, then Project Scarlett, told that the new hardware would strive for 4K resolution output with a 60 frames per second performance. Even tossing the idea of 8K visual fidelity then, it only drew more questions to the outcome for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Amid the conversation that went through the seams of the internet, Microsoft shared the performance is merely a choice on the behalf of the development team and shifting blame on the hardware is not appropriate for the situation. The firm shared the information with The Verge’s Senior Editor Tom Warren who relayed the details on Twitter: Taken from Warren tweet, you can also collect that Xbox General Manager Aaron Greenberg confirming that the structure for the Xbox Series X is capable of achieving 120 frames per second as well depending on the respected software. But in whole, Ubisoft is to be why the game performs as such on the approaching console. Even more, the same can also be expected for the opposing PlayStation 5 as well with the system’s architecture to be lesser of Microsoft’s unit. However, the PC version as well all could assume might offer varying outcomes since the platform is versatile to adjust to new properties releasing. Interesting enough though, Ubisoft does not address the possibilities of adverting the resolution for 1080p or even 1440p to capitalize on higher frame rate which current generation titles already do. In other Assassin’s Creed Valhalla-related news, Ubisoft shared that HBO’s Vikings composer Einar Selvik will be involved with the creation for the game’s soundtrack alongside Jasper Kyd and Sarah Schachner who has composed previous Assassin’s Creed installments. Ubisoft Reveal Collaborating Composers For Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Includes Vikings’ Einar Selvik

Following the announcement of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, many fans and even Ubisoft themselves did an analysis of the cinematic trailer which properly showcased the Dark Ages-set installment. Just from witnessing the video footage alone, there is evident inspiration drawn from other forms of media surrounding the certain age of man. One in particular is the HBO series Vikings which many compare to witness from the trailer. Now in a new announcement, Ubisoft shares to be bridging the gap between the ongoing show and the approaching video game as composer Einar Selvik will be involved with curating the OST for this coming holiday’s Assassin’s Cree Valhalla. Also known by his stage name Kvitrafn, Einar Selvik is a multi-instrumental Norwegian artist. A newcomer to Assassin’s Creed, Selvik has been creating Nordic music for more than 25 years. His credits include soundtrack work on the History Channel TV show “Vikings,” where he also appeared as an actor. He will be writing the original songs for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s soundtrack. Alongside the recognized composer, some other familiar names will be returning for the latest Assassin’s Creed installment. Such as Jasper Kyd who’s worked on Assassin’s Creed II & Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and Sarah Schachner who composed the soundtrack for 2017’s Assassin’s Creed Origins. Kyd in particular is most known for his efforts in creating the landmark “Ezio’s Family” during what is considered the Golden Age of the franchise following the trilogy of the titular protagonist. Schachner alongside her part with the first major RPG entry for the series has also worked on other big budget productions such as Anthem and the more recent Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. With the three at helm for the project, surely fans will be satisfied with the full soundtrack coming release later this holiday season. Previously, Ubisoft during the latest Inside Xbox showcased a glimpse of gameplay for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. During that, the game was also confirmed to be supporting the ever growing cross-buy Smart Delivery initiative for Xbox Series X. You can read the full report y heading here. Listing For Beyond Two Souls Pops Up On Steam Database

In the past couple of months, we have witnessed Sony Interactive Entertainment’s openness to the opportunity to ship some of its most renowned releases to the PC market. With the approaching summer releases for both Guerilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn alongside Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding to be a few, it should be noted this initiative was established by Quantic Dream prior to Sony’s direct involvement. Back in early 2019, the French studio was partially acquired by Chinese firm NetEase which entailed the team’s properties to release on more systems. Evidently, that happened to be PC with the release of Heavy Rain, Beyond Two Souls, and Detroit Become Human all shipping on the platform within the following couple of months. Users online uncovered that the team’s 2013 title starring the likes of Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe will be coming to the platform. Regardless, this is an energetic finding for fans who are still waiting to pay a Quantic Dream release on Steam. A similar situation occurred for another PlayStation 4 exclusive property recently: Yakuza 7: Like a Dragon. The title appeared on Steam Database also which entailed a western release to be announced for PC alongside PlayStation 4. However, the announcement instead was made for Xbox One/Xbox Series X days following the initial report. As of yet, there is no word on the listed Steam version. While the basis that tails behind the commencement of E3 for this coming June will be absent for 2020, publishers are left unsure as to what will substitute their initially-planned press conferences in Los Angeles. But despite in-person events being squandered this time around, companies are searching for digital alternatives to replace the annual showcases scattered throughout the week. Groups like PC Gamer shared to be hosting its yearly show through the confines of the online web unfazed as this year will be as impactful as if it were still being hosted to the public. The same can also be said for Ubisoft as the publisher shared to be featuring its planned bulk of news later in July with the self-named Forward presentation. Expected projects like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla are just some of the many to be showcased later in the year. Microsoft has also taken the initiative to partake in online showcases with Xbox 20/20: instead of one major event, announcements will be divided in monthly presentations that will be unveiled leading up to the release for the Xbox Series X. And now Devolver Digital tells to be hosting its press conference as well in 2020. However, the dubbed ‘Devolver Direct’ was told to be unsure for its arrival due to the current situation at hand inflicted by COVID-19, but the publisher reassures that the showcase “should be a good one though.” This virtual show is the next online event to be held alongside the previously announced Summer Game Fest, IGN Summer of Gaming, and GamesRadar Future Games Show slated for this summer. Summer Game Fest Reveals Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 & 2 Remaster, Coming This September

During today’s Summer Game Fest reveal hosted by Geoff Keighley, the online-hosted event shared the first announcement to be Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 & 2. Previously, the game was suspected to be announced sometime later in 2020 following a previous podcast interview with professional skateboarder Jason Dill who shared the title to be arriving later this year and with him featured in the unannounced project. Even more, Keighley himself went to tease the project prior to the reveal by asking players if they “have a favorite classic PlayStation 1 game.” You can view the announcement trailer in the video below: Derived from the title of the game, both 1999’s Tony Hawk Pro Skater and its 2000 sequel will both be shipping to current console hardware with a revamped look and other additions to the reworked duology. Keighley when speaking with Tony Hawk himself and Vicarious Visions Jen Oneal. During the discussion, it was shared that the bundle will be portraying its initial image with a new look, but taken from the looks of the game, defining the project simply as a remaster is loosely placed. Oneal shares that despite the later addition of the revert, for example, the trick made its way into the game despite the contradiction in the series’ timeline. The addition was told to be in favor for returning players who are already accustomed to the trick in preserving their score and ultimately decided to add the trick to the full game. Other interesting elements that the game will offer is the ability for players to control their skater with a gamepad.
