Dataminers Uncover Abundance Of Zombie Skins For Red Dead Online Pointing Towards Upcoming Halloween Event

It hasn’t been late July that Red Dead Redemption 2’s Red Dead Online was graced with a major update. The last being the addition of the Naturalist role which offered a new approach to the already available Bounty Hunter, Collector, and Trader play styles. Howbeit, fans feel it is due that more content is to come to the Five Counties as the game is now seeping into the fall and inching closer to the two year mark for the title. Thankfully, dataminers seem to uncover a slew of unannounced assets for Red Dead Online recently. In a video uploaded by YouTuber Red Dead Guides, the recent upload discloses nearly fifty NPC skins of what looks to represent zombies for the game under an Army of Fear alias. However, how Rockstar Games plans to utilize these assets are still undisclosed for the time. Reflecting on 2010’s Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare, the story expansion included variants of flesh-eating foes for you to outlive and survive during the Wild West. But with these new models offering more primitive appearances, it is suspected what is scheduled for Red Dead Online is simply a Halloween-focused event for the game. Referenced in the video is Twitter user @MuzTuber who posted findings of the new audio files in the game’s source code back in July. The discovery lists Fear of Us for multiple tracks as well as FOA which might be linked to the ‘Army of Fear’ models. Looking back to last October’s ‘Fear of the Dark’ game mode that was featured for the season then could also play a large role in this as well. Gathered from the titling of the previous seasonal event could be expanded upon using the “Fear” titling for the new, unannounced event that is speculated to make its waves into Red Dead Online in the approaching weeks. Given that these new discoveries do hold some tangible evidence suggesting a new event is underway, take what was found with little truth until properly unveiled by Rockstar Games. Ultimately, this could be a simple change to the map with no major altering to the game’s world – i.e. snow during the holiday’s in GTA Online – or perhaps to a similar degree for the Red Dead Redemption DLC. Only time will reveal that. What are you hoping will come from these new findings for Red Dead Online? Red Dead Redemption 2 is out now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Bright Memory Is Arriving To Xbox Series X On November 10, Bright Memory: Infinite Said To Ship In Early 2021

For those who need to recall the first Xbox 20/20 show back in May, Microsoft kicked off the show with an exciting new project from FYDQ-Studio, Bright Memory: Infinite. While not entirely unique from the China-based team, it is a reworking of the titular Bright Memory which released on Steam back in March of this year. Developed by one solo developer, Zeng Xiancheng, the game combines elements off first-person shooters and fuses it with the likes of hack and slash titles which is an approach not implemented to the scope of this entry. And given that the latter project is said to release next year, FYDQ-Studio announced that Bright Future will be arriving to Xbox Series X on launch day for the new console. The announcement was made during the recent Playism Game Show livestream that took place this week. You can watch the segment of the presentation in the video below: “Combine a wide variety of skills and abilities to unleash dazzling combo attacks. SRO (Supernatural Science Research Organization) agent Shelia’s adventure is about to begin,” the game’s overview on Steam reads. “This game depicts the maiden adventure of a woman named Shelia in the year 2020. The 1000-year-old relic swords known as “Kanshou and Bakuya”, discovered through SRO research, have been found to comprise a unique multilayered structure, containing a mysterious substance in their cores. “This substance, known as the ‘Soul of Jiu Xuan’, possesses the ability to reanimate the dead. In an attempt to take possession of the substance, the ‘SAI’ – a massive terrorist organization controlling its own army – has used a cutting-edge piece of technology known as a ‘Quantum Transporter’ to infiltrate the SRO research facility and steal top-secret and incredibly dangerous data.” As for the anticipated Bright Future: Infinite, the game is said to be paved for a release sometime in early 2021. Gathered from the translated livestream hosted by J-Mon, it is said the game is arranged to release sometime in March. However, an official date was not spared so the release window might be different when properly announced later on. Are you excited to get your hands on Bright Future this November? Bright Future is arriving to Xbox Series X/Xbox Series S on November 10, 2020; out now on PC.

The objective of the game is to compile samples from popular songs to create a new mix to play. Either alone or with a group of friends, you can create a set which can be shared and archived to share with the world. Although Harmonix has spared numerous new songs that will be arriving as part of the launch for Fuser, the firm has yet to spare when the aforementioned title will be arriving. Given for this fall, the broad timeframe could suggest a window leading well into the holiday season. But thankfully, the wait will only lead into this November. In a new trailer, the studio shares Fuser will be arriving on November 10. On Twitter, the team spared the new lineup of tracks that can be found when the game ships in the coming weeks: Ava Max – Sweet But PsychoBobby Brown – My PrerogativeDonna Summer – Hot StuffEric B. & Rakim – Don’t Sweat The TechniqueGrouplove – Tongue TiedJustin Timberlake – Can’t Stop The Feeling!Karol G feat. No More Heroes’ Travis Touchdown Speculated To Be Next Smash Ultimate Addition, Or Receive Amiibo At The Very Least

In regards to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as of late, players are still toying around with Arms’ Min Min who arrived to the game’s roster this past June. However, only so much time can pass before fans begin to speculate the next addition to the game’s cast of diverse characters and personas. While there is certainly no tangible lead, there do look to be one instance worth dissecting. According to an interview between Switch Player Magazine and Grasshopper Manufacture’s Goichi Suda, there looks to be a window suggesting Travis Touchdown is coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. When speaking with “Suda51” himself, Suda was told to be very shy on the idea of Travis Touchdown being a possibility for the game. Stating “no comment”, which is evidently unlike Suda to not be vocal about certain scenarios as he’s presented previously. The report is relayed by @PushDustIn on Twitter that transcribed the recent interview and spared the plausible announcement for the game. Howbeit, the question does stretch further than you would expect on the surface. The Twitter user later clarified that the question asked to Suda applies to more than just Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. In that, it is suggested if not Travis Touchdown being added to the game’s playable roster, he could be receiving an Amiibo figurine instead. Noted that the character is of a Nintendo-originated franchise, that does seem to be a likely possibility. It is shocking how much time has passed without Travis Touchdown being added to Super Smash Bros. Since the series emerged on the Wii, the collaborative brawler has faced a slew of unique additions, but Travis Touchdown is still not one of them. Currently underway for No More Heroes is the coming third installment: No More Heroes III. Despite the game being announced over a year ago for a 2020 release, it was this month that Suda shared more time will be needed for the game’s development – pushing the arrival of the sequel to 2021. So for Travis Touchdown to hit Smash Ultimate in the meantime would keep fans occupied until his new game officially releases. Elsewhere previously, it was reported that 2009’s No More Heroes was listed for Nintendo Switch in Taiwan. The game initially released for the Wii and later on PlayStation 3, so the port would face some improvements of its original versions. You can read the full report by heading here. Would you be happy if Travis Touchdown made his debut on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate? Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is out now for Nintendo Switch.

Even After Bethesda’s Acquisition, The Return Of Fallout: New Vegas With A Follow-up Is Still Undetermined

In the middle of next month, October 19, Fallout: New Vegas will be turning ten years old. And despite the cult following that has and continues to follow the 2010 entry, only two installments in the series arose: Fallout 4 & Fallout 76. But despite these games introducing a new engine with unique settings and later even multiplayer, fans that founded their love for the universe are still awaiting for a potential return of the subgenre. What makes Fallout: New Vegas so unique in a developers stand point is that it is a side entry produced by a separate team, Obsidian Entertainment. Given that Bethesda published the title, the Irvine-based team is solely responsible for the creative drive of the project and utilizes the universe derived from Bethesda’s Fallout 3. Reiterating on the roots of the franchise and telling a unique tale in the titular Mojave setting. But despite the fan outcry for Bethesda and Obsidian Entertainment to collaborate once again to make a sequel, the idea was shot down. In fall 2018, Obsidian Entertainment on Twitter denounced the chances for a new entry as “very doubtful” as illustrated through a magic 8-Ball response. This week, however, many thought those chances could change after Microsoft – the firm that owns Obsidian Entertainment – purchased Bethesda. In an acquisition for parent company Zenimax Media, Microsoft also nabs the property rights to Fallout. Howbeit, when asked following the news, it is still unsure if the follow-up would still come to fruition. Yes, perhaps fantasizing on a second installment for Fallout: New Vegas might be premature anticipation following the acquisition, but it is certainly possible. Now that both Bethesda & Obsidian Entertainment are under one roof with a virtually endless budget, the game could be birthed for sure. But as of now, the call for a sequel might be a little too soon. Surely time will tell and hopefully some of those representing Fallout will spare more in the coming future, but as of yet, there is no definite sign of a Fallout: New Vegas follow-up. With it being just over a day since the news was broke, who know what might tail behind the next chapter for Bethesda at Xbox Game Studios. Yesterday, it was reported by Bloomberg when speaking to Xbox head Phil Spencer that the current deals between Bethesda & Sony Interactive Entertainment will be honored despite the recent acquisition. The agreements include exclusive dealings to ship Deathloop & GhostWire: Tokyo uniquely on PlayStation 5. You can read the full report by heading here. Would you play a follow-up to Fallout: New Vegas if it happens?

Xbox Game Pass Finds 50% Growth In Active Subscribers Overtaking 15 Million Users

It was in late April that Microsoft revealed a surprising milestone for Xbox Game Pass. That since its inception in 2017, the Netflix-esque video game service has ticked over 10 million users. Gathered that some users flocked to the service in favor to ante up on the coming first-party entries that are available and underway, it did take some processing to realize the magnitude of the service this spring. It came to be an even larger endeavor on Microsoft’s behalf when Sony Interactive Entertainment spared that only 2.2 million users were counted for its own service, PlayStation Now. Despite the number of units virtually being 3:1, Microsoft has a farther better success in pulling more users. And now as we reach the end of summer with fall beginning this week, Microsoft has more to spare on the matters on Xbox Game Pass. In conjunction with the recent acquisition of Zenimax Media & Bethesda, the statement relayed by Xbox Head Phil Spencer revealed that the service is now well over 15 million users as of late. With unique investments in content, community, and the cloud, Microsoft’s gaming strategy differs from others by empowering people to play the games they want, with the people they want, anywhere they want. Games are the primary growth engine in gaming, and games are fueling new cloud-gaming services like Xbox Game Pass, which has reached a new milestone of over 15 million subscribers. The last recording of users spared by Microsoft happened this spring: now less than five months later, the amount of subscribers for Xbox Game Pass has surpassed 50 percent in less than half of the lifespan for the service. Noted, more users began adopting services and other digital mediums thanks to the ongoing pandemic, so the number could be influenced by that. But ultimately, the trend for intangible media has continued to grow for majority of this generation. Relevant to the recent purchase made by Microsoft and Xbox Game Pass, the firm verifies that coming new entries from Bethesda will be arriving to the service on day one. As for current entries, an influx of already available entries are suspected to make waves onto the service later in time. Are you among the 15 million subscribers using Xbox Game Pass?
