Microsoft Shares its New Batch of Game With Gold Titles For October 2020

Of course with yet another month already scheduled to be on the way out this week, another batch of Xbox Games with Gold titles are on the horizon. Currently, Xbox Live subscribers are still able to install titles such as Tom Clancy’s The Division, The Book of Unwritten Tales 2, and Armed and Dangerous. As for the month of October 2020, here is the new lineup underway for Xbox Games with Gold: Slayaway Camp: Butcher’s Cut (Xbox One): 10/1 – 10/31 Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy (Original Xbox): 10/1 – 10/31 Costume Quest (Xbox 360): 10/16 – 10/31 Maid of Sker (Xbox One): 10/16 – 11/15 Among the approaching wave of free games coming for Xbox Live users, Microsoft also offered an abundance of new details regarding Xbox Game Pass as well today. Specifically, the very exciting addition of EA Play for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. After sharing the service will be paired with Microsoft’s proprietary monthly subscription for no additional lost, Microsoft has disclosed that EA Play will be hitting console/Android on November 10 with PC owners expecting the benefit later in December. Additionally, the next lineup of Xbox Game Pass titles were also revealed for October 2020. Those games include Doom Eternal, Forza Motorsport 7, and Brutal Legend. Microsoft Tells The Coming Xbox Game Pass Lineup For Early October 2020

In a surprise realization, October is just around the corner for 2020. Despite the amount that has been dealt to the planet’s populous with the novel coronavirus, the year is very close to being over. And with a new month upon us, Microsoft has spared a brief roadmap to disclose which new titles will be coming to Xbox Game Pass at the start of October. Prior to today’s announcement, Microsoft also spoiled the surprise by announcing that a byproduct of this most recent acquisition of Bethesda Softworks and its parent company Zenimax Media – id Software’s Doom Eternal will be hitting Xbox Game Pass on October 1. EA Play Officially Hits Xbox Game Pass Owners For Console On November 10, PC Users Expected Sometime In December

For those that might have missed the mountainous announcement Microsoft made at the beginning of the month, the firm disclosed that this coming holiday season Xbox Game Pass owners can indulge in EA Play for no additional charge. The monthly game service once unique to the platform is now being gifted to Game Pass Ultimate and Game Pass for PC owners and it will not cost anything. Gathered from the announcement with holiday in mind, it was suspected that when EA Play does arrive to Xbox Game Pass subscribers, it would land on the same day as Xbox Series X|S arrival which was also projected for a holiday release. Now in a new blog post, Microsoft now confirms that the service addition will be coming on November 10. In addition to that, Microsoft does clarify that PC Xbox Game Pass owners will be expecting EA Play the following month in December. Starting November 10, EA Play will be available on Xbox consoles, including Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X, as part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, and beginning in December, members with an Ultimate or PC subscription will be able to download and play games from the EA Play library on Windows 10 PCs. Sarah Bond, Microsoft CVP of Gaming Partnerships and Ecosystems As fans can begin welcoming the new catalogue of titles to the Xbox Game Pass repertoire this fall, the firm also reiterates on more additions thanks to the recent acquisition of Zenimax Media. Now in ownership of the Bethesda parent company, Microsoft plans to inject the largest blockbuster titles to its service. The team is already underway to do so with Doom Eternal hitting the library this Thursday. Noted, Xbox Game Pass also extends to Android as well with the xCloud initiative. Console users who pay for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate are granted the game streaming peripheral for no extra charge.
