Microsoft Schedules xCloud Support To Hit iOS & PC By Spring 2021

To plenty of users that are already enjoying xCloud since the service’s release back in September this year, the wait for more features and, of course, games are still on the minds of the hundreds that regular the cloud streaming platform. But to users that are not equipped with a Android device is unfamiliar with the service. But do not worry, Microsoft is planning to integrate the service to Apple owners sometime next year. Xbox lead Phil Spencer disclosed during a closed door meeting that support for iOS will be coming fairly soon as the next year hits. In the same discussion, Spencer also told that PC users can anticipate the same support as well, but a more specified timeframe for that was not mentioned then. That was until the latest Xbox Wire post today which issues that both platforms can expect Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to be incorporated for iOS & PC next year. Microsoft when touting some records made since the release of the next-generation Xbox Series X|S, the firm presses on when xCloud will hit other platforms. In Spring 2021, we will take the next step in our journey to reach more players around the world by making cloud gaming as part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate available on Windows PCs through the Xbox app and browser, and iOS devices through mobile web browser. By adding over a billion devices as a path to playing in the Xbox ecosystem, we envision a seamless experience for all types of players. Australia, Brazil, Japan, and Mexico are the next group of territories promised to receive dedicated support for xCloud later in the coming future. Destiny 2 Scheduled To Receive Full-on Cross-play Sometime Next Year, Bungie Shares

In concerns to Destiny 2, the game is becoming more accessible across its supported platforms as the game receives its next-generation versions just this week. While the game is playable, of course, through respected backwards compatibility programs on both platforms, the newest update unlocks new improvements for the pair of systems. That includes targeted 4K resolution alongside a solid 60 frames per second performance. But that is not everything as there is also cross-play for Destiny 2. Well, at least between the console families currently. For now, Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and Stadia play in their respected servers for the time being. But looking ahead, there is now confirmation that the game will receive full-on cross-platform play by next year. In the latest Developer Update for Destiny 2, Bungie unveils that cross-play is scheduled to launch sometime in 2021 next year. The feature is included in a list of other scheduled additions that will be incorporated in Year 4 for the game: such as DDOS protection, Vault of Glass raid returning, and the addition of Transmog which is illustrated with screenshots in the post. For now, the only implementation that bridges games currently is the cross-platform save feature which allows users to play their game on any platform at any given time. The feature essentially parallels systems already and opens to the idea of fully supported cross-platform play which many presumed to arrive eventually. In anticipation for the next-generation version for Destiny 2, Bungie issued a new reveal for the first-person shooter – 120 frames per second support for matchmaking crucible. Ubisoft Gives Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time Remake New Release Date Scheduled For March 2021

What seemed to be an eternity since fans last had their hands on a Prince of Persia game, Ubisoft grew aware of the problem and granted its followers a chance to revisit the action-adventure series. During its most recent Ubisoft Forward this past September, the publisher revealed that Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time will be returning with a complete remake of the original 2003 title. Scheduled to arrive for January this year, many fans that grew up playing the classic game are surely excited to be returning after more than a decade since the release of the initial title. Howbeit, one large concern is to why the game will only be available via then-current systems with both Xbox Series X|S & PlayStation 5 can only operate the game through backwards compatibility. Seeing the time of the game’s launch, it is presumed Ubisoft is equipped with the resources to ship out a next-generation version of the game. But now it looks that the project is needing more time as Ubisoft Pune & Ubisoft Mumbai announce a new March release date for the title. “We are excited to put this game in your hands, as we retell the story of the Prince and Farah in a reimagined 11th century Persia. However, 2020 has been a year like no other. Today we wanted to let you know that we are taking additional time to work on the game,” the letterhead reveals. ” We believe this is the right call to ensure we will deliver a game you will enjoy.” While the teams utilize the extra time needed to ship Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake, perhaps the studios involved can also resolve the controversy surrounding the game’s appearance. Monster Hunter Movie Pulled Just After One Day In China Following Backlash Of Derogatory Joke

While theaters in North America are still sitting patient until the box office release for Constantin Films’ Monster Hunter, the Paul S.W. Anderson-directed film is facing discourse across the globe in mainland China. While the film did receive priority marketing for the region leading up to the delivery of the motion picture, it only took one day before the movie was decided to be pulled from theaters. According to a string of tweets reported by Niko Partners’ David Ahmad, he tells that the film was withdrawn from theaters is based on a derogatory joke that aims at the Chinese people. While the clip he provided has now been DMCA claimed by Sony Pictures, Ahmad goes to elaborate on the context in a tweet you can read for yourself. Given the controversy and certainly the backlash on the matter in the region, Capcom issued a statement on the situation by apologizing for the racist pun that was included in the final cut of the film. While the firm addresses the problem at hand, it is uncertain how this will affect the movie as no statement discloses a new cut which does not include the segment removed. Following the news on the joke that remained in the film, Monster Hunter World on Steam is facing its own problems as users a review bombing the game in response to the discovery of the racy pun. Ahmad does offer that the film will not return to theaters until a re-cut is in place, but to reiterate, it has yet to be verified when Sony Pictures will make one. Furthermore, Ahmad explains that the subtitling of the film in the specific scene while not matching the translation to the English version does still leave a distasteful impact on Chinese viewers. The wording in the subtitles also convinces Chinese viewers the joke was intentional in attacking Chinese people and Hollywood’s lack of awareness on the matter. Motion Twin Presses On New Dead Cells DLC ‘Fatal Falls’ Coming In Early 2021

Developer Motion Twin now sitting at roughly two years since the release of roguelike action platformer Dead Cells is still under the hood working on new content for the game regularly to freshen the experience for returning fans and potential newcomers as well. While there are periodical patches that arrive, the studio also goes on crafting new add-ons for the game as well. Predating back to February this year, Dead Cells: The Bad Seed launched offering players a new and expansive world to explore with, of course, new enemies scattered for new combat experiences to take on. Now once again, Motion Twin has reemerged to disclose the first glimpse at the next DLC add-on for Dead Cells arriving sometime in 2021. In a new teaser trailer, Motion Twin reveals a brief glimpse at the coming Fatal Falls DLC. You can watch the Dead Cells DLC trailer in the video below: “The Fatal Falls DLC brings two extra mid-game areas, continuing the Beheaded’s journey outside the castle. Complete with a new boss just minding their own business until you drop in to say hello..,” the overview for the add-on reads in the trailer’s description.” In actuality, Motion Twin initially revealed the game just earlier this month on December 1 offering more information on its Steam page.
