At Least For Now, Ubisoft+ For Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Does Not Look To Be Underway

In relevance to what occurred back in November and later issued this past December, Microsoft welcomed EA Play for Xbox Game Pass owners as a free perk for using the service. So rather than purchasing both separately, Microsoft will offer the Electronic Arts program for free when either playing on console or PC. And compared to other monthly game services alike, the offer has still yet to be challenged. However, it seemed that there is still more under the hood at Microsoft. According to Windows Central’s Jez Corden, he claimed that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will continue this tradition with Ubisoft+ in the coming future. “I think this has a strong chance of being true, based on stuff I’ve heard,” Corden writes in a tweet. However, while Corden is a reputable source within the realm of Microsoft products, another recognized leaker says otherwise. Twitter user @Klobrille responded by disclosing the rumor to only be just that due to the service being structured like Xbox Game Pass offering Ubisoft title on launch day. But while the Twitter user does denounce the direct claim, he does think parallel to a suggestion from Corden. Both insist that the only way this would be welcomed is through a “Vault”-like structure similar to what we already see with EA Play. But for now, there is no plans for Ubisoft+ to be a freebie for Xbox Game Pass/Xbox Game Pass Ultimate owners currently. The closest reference would be the Ubisoft Channel available on Amazon’s Luna. Another interesting note on behalf of Ubisoft+ is that the service also issues the highest tier version of the game as well. Back when originally dubbed ‘Uplay+’, the firm elaborated that the Gold Edition or Ultimate Edition of the respected game will be provided to those that own the service on PC. For those who are still unfamiliar with the still fresh addition of EA Play for Xbox Game Pass, Rectify Gaming orchestrated a full list of games that the service offers on console already. You can read the full roster of title by heading here. Would you take advantage of Ubisoft+ if it ever came to Xbox Game Pass?

First Issue Of DLC For Cyberpunk 2077 Is Teased To Arrive Sometime In Early 2021 For Free

To understand what exactly is coming for Cyberpunk 2077, the developer is planning to issue a blanket of additional hotfixes and patches throughout the course of January and February 2021. The firm issued the details in mid December following the release of the aforementioned game with rising complaints on behalf of the title operating on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The issue then swelled in regards to the scheduled content that will be arriving to Cyberpunk 2077. Although the developer did originally state that the formula being curated for Cyberpunk 2077 post-launch content will align with how The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was dealt years prior, it is uncertain as to where this will lead now that the team is currently working to optimize the game on older consoles. In a recent report issued by CD Projekt Red, the Polish team disclosed that it is unable to determine the state of its additional content for Cyberpunk 2077. Company CEO Adam Kicinski blatantly answers to the matters of the add-on with: “we don’t know yet,” however, goes on to include that reworkings for the game is underway following recent complaints. But now it is understood that some form of DLC is coming to Cyberpunk 2077 fairly soon. Scheduled for early 2021, the game’s official website received an update recently disclosing that whatever it is – it will be free. “Free DLC starts hitting Night City early 2021,” the text reads. “Stay tuned for more info,” the page concludes with. Again, while it is already acknowledged that story expansions will handled as it did with CD Projekt Red’s previous release, it is currently unsure what is being referenced in the new website update. But going on the fact of the content to be issued at no additional cost, the category of the add-on is not expected to be a major game changer; rather to the likes of new weapons, vehicles, or missions. More recently, CD Projekt Red issued a response to the new lawsuit that is being inflicted on the developer. The firm tells it will defend itself against the claim on behalf of Cyberpunk 2077 operation on last-generation consoles. You can read the full report by heading here. CD Projekt Red Responds To Investor Lawsuit To Defend Against Claims Made On The State Of Cyberpunk 2077 For Older Consoles

Although majority of 2020 swiftly arose to becoming a complete debacle in itself as many were urged to remain at home as much as possible while the world shut down to squander spread of the novel coronavirus, the year came to a close on controversy regarding the year’s most anticipated release. That being Cyberpunk 2077, the game was released with a blanket of issues that deemed the experience to be unplayable on certain hardware. Mainly the last-generation Xbox One & PlayStation 4, even its newer iterations One X and Pro models could not meet level standards as the new console generation is welcomed. The response of the game’s performance resulted in one financial firm, The Rosen Law Firm, to issue a class-action lawsuit based on the Polish developer misleading the state of the game on certain machines. Howbeit, CD Projekt Res issued its own statement in response to the one delivered by the investor firm announcing to be defending itself against the claims made about Cyberpunk 2077. The plaintiffs call for the court to adjudicate whether the actions undertaken by the Company and members of its Management Board in connection with the release of Cyberpunk 2077 constituted a violation of federal laws, i.a. by misleading investors and, consequently, causing them to incur damages. The complaint does not specify the quantity of damages sought. The Company will undertake vigorous action to defend itself against any such claims. Furthermore, developer CD Projekt Red does not view its interpretation of the state for Cyberpunk 2077 to be unplayable as inserted by the investor firm and plans to defend against the statement issued by The Rosen Law Firm. To grasp the viewpoint of the Polish game studio, CD Projekt Red does understand more optimizations are required for Cyberpunk 2077 on older systems, but the game is playable. While the state of the title is not idealized as on PC or the next-generation Xbox Series X|S/PlayStation 5, Cyberpunk 2077 does operate similarly on all platforms. The most notable takeaway upon critiquing the title on older devices is the lacking framerate; though it is visually flat, the same bugs and hiccups are apparent. But, the performance is what truly kills the immersions of hundreds of players. Are you in support of CD Projekt Red to defend itself against the coming lawsuit?
