The Gunk Receives December Release Window In New Trailer

While titles like Halo Infinite, Forza Motorsport, and Fable capitalizes the most amount of excitement from 2020’s Xbox Game Showcase last July, there also were a selection of exciting properties that were featured viewers believed to be anticipating for the Xbox platform. One namely announcement came to be The Gunk from Image & Form Games. Will this dangerous discovery cause a rift between two friends?” Hartelius continues with the team’s ambitions for this new experiment with 3D, explaining: “Once partnered with Microsoft to develop for the Xbox platform, we decided to go in a very different creative direction from the SteamWorld series. “The Gunk is our first 3D project, so we wanted to use that literal extra dimension to craft a more cinematic and immersive experience than anything we’ve done before. Microsoft Announces xCloud Support For Xbox One & Xbox Series X|S Coming Later This Holiday

In the ongoing campaign from Microsoft to usher players to experience their favorite games on Xbox Game Pass through different avenues like PC and now mobile cloud streaming, the latter initiative is making shockwaves over to its console counterparts. Previously, Xbox lead Phil Spencer did comment that plans for console support from xCloud “is not years away”, which indicates that the service is expected to drop more so in a periodic manner fairly soon. More specifically, fans are interested to see how it will play out. While it is enough to convince users on saving hard drive space already, the bigger inquiry is if it will excuse needing to jump to next-generation machines. In a later statement from Xbox Wire Editor-in-Chief Will Tuttle, the service is to bring Xbox Series X|S exclusives like Redfall & Starfield to Xbox One thanks to xCloud. Now in a new announcement from Tuesday’s Xbox Gamescome Livestream, Xbox Series console and Xbox One is expecting a forecast of xCloud later this holiday. All you have to do is navigate to Xbox Game Pass and look for games with the cloud icon. Next, click the “Play” button and get to gaming. It’s as simple as that!” Jake Rosenberg, Senior Program Manager at Xbox explains for xCloud being enabled for consoles. Currently, the plan for xCloud is for the service to be a testing ground for Xbox Insider rings later in the fall before being publicly implemented later on in holiday 2021. Rosenberg goes on to confirm that the plan at release is to target 1080p resolution with a 60 Hz refresh rate when xCloud drops for console later this year. Previously, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella acknowledged the impact on xCloud on the market during the company’s financial call back in June. Forza Horizon 5 Cover Art Revealed, Special Edition Xbox Series X|S Controller Set For Release This November At Launch

Amid the excitement that grew around developer Playground Games last year upon revealing its plans to reboot the once beloved Lionhead Studios’ Fable series, the developer is also working on its own grassroots series with the fifth entry making way for later this November. Unveiled back at E3 this year, Forza Horizon 5 takes the series to Mexico with a new level of detail and arcade racing mayhem. Additionally, the game studio has went on to address the game’s state following its announcement. In that, the game is to perform at 4K resolution with 60 frames per second. Initially, it was determined that the game would only process at a 30 Hz refresh rate, but it was later indicated by Creative Director Mike Brown that the release will be optimized for newer standards on Xbox Series X|S. In a new reveal during Tuesday’s Xbox Gamescom Livestream, the cover art for Forza Horizon 5 was reveal. Of course, the announcement also emphasizes on the starring automobiles for the game – Mercedes-AMG ONE and 2021 Ford Bronco Badlands. Microsoft Features Humble Bundle Games Coming To Xbox Game Pass In New Trailer

To rank Xbox Game Pass for this month, the service continues to churn out more additions to players backlog as new entries arrive with time counting down. Asobo Studio Teases New Modes For Microsoft Flight Simulator Including Air Races & City Copters

One of the largest callings for Microsoft Flight Simulator is the amount of density fit within the experience. When flying hundreds of kilometers in the air, the sheer number of clouds and rays of light that breaks across the screen leaves players at awe from what they are seeing. And coming close to the ground, users continue to be star struck by how Asobo Studio implemented an open-world with the number of detail jam packed in. Expanding this further, fans are excited to get their hands on new content entering into the later parts of next year. In that, helicopters are to be experimented with, Asobo Studio stated in recent update snapshot for Microsoft Flight Simulator. And the first baby steps for that implementation appears to be taking place with its recent announcement on Tuesday. Through a teaser trailer, the French game studio teases a new collaboration with Volocopter which lays the catalyst for which will later be full-on helicopter support. In collaboration with the team at Volocopter, we are integrating their electric air taxis and incorporating Volocopter’s vision for urban air mobility city operations into Microsoft Flight Simulator,” Microsoft Flight Simulator head Jorg Neumann shares. “The VoloCity air taxi represents our first step toward the introduction of one of the widely-requested aircraft – helicopters! The VoloCity air taxi will release in November of this year.” Additionally, Neumann goes on to expand for the hinted Air Races mode for Microsoft Flight Simulator as well. “We are excited to announce our partnership with RARA (the Reno Air Racing Association) to bring the famous STIHL National Championship Air Races, the world’s fastest motorsport, to Microsoft Flight Simulator. “Many of the planes can fly up to 500 mph at an altitude between 50 ft and 250 ft above ground. The Reno Air Races represent the first major expansion for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Simmers will now be able to race against their friends or pilots from around the world with the addition of competitive multiplayer to the sim.” The mode is told to ship later on in the fall. World Update VI For Microsoft Flight Simulator Emphasizes On Germany, Austria, Switzerland Next Month

While the wait appeared to be longer in terms of fans hoping to see Microsoft Flight Simulator supported on more hardware than PC, developer Asobo Studio delivered the 2020 release in July for Xbox Series X & Xbox Series S. Despite the scale of the experience and the detailed number of features that makes the title function on PC, a realistic port to Xbox happened to be more than what many anticipated altogether. With more than five World Updates that arrived to the game since launch, Microsoft Flight Simulator is expecting more by this autumn as well. In that, a Top Gun Update is planned to ship this fall. Additionally, Asobo Studio previously went on to press that helicopters are also another mechanic it plans to address entering 2022 this year. During Tuesday’s Xbox Gamescom Livestream, Asobo Studio unveiled World Update VI. The new title update focuses on the nations of Germany, Austria, Switzerland respectively with detailed additions.
