At the same time, next-generation machines also received an enhancement. In that, Xbox Series X|S & PlayStation 5 officially welcomed native versions with plans to integrate 120Hz support later on. No worries!” the overview reads. “In Flashpoint, healing items are removed from the loot pool and replaced by “Flashpoint Zones”. These zones are large areas that heal all Legends inside them. If you’re looking to restore your health, you might have to fight for it!” What felt like only a few short weeks is already two months ago with the launch of Season 12 – Defiance. But moving forward, the next Season for Apex Legends is imminent with less than a month away. Are you excited for the next jump in content coming very soon? Apex Legends’ Unshackled Event goes live from April 19, 2022 to May 3, 2022 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Source: Respawn Entertainment

Ghost Of Tsushima Film Adaptation Gets Takashi Doscher To Pen The Script

Over from Sucker Punch Productions, its latest release for Ghost of Tsushima continues to make waves in recent months. The most surprising happens to be the swift decision for a film adaptation to be on the way. More interesting is that the arrangement also gets a grip on John Wick director Chad Stahelski attached to the production as well. Currently, casting has yet to be revealed for the film so far. However, in response to the announcement, actor Daisuke Tsuji that portrays Jin Sakai in the video game is adamant to reprise the role for the live-action film. He even backs his dedication to the role to also don the role in anticipation for any potential nudity scenes as well. From Deadline, progress is being made for Ghost of Tsushima. In that, the production has decided on its screenwriter: Takashi Doscher. Doscher has previously penned the script for 2018’s Still and the 2019 film Only. The writer also finished a screenplay for Japanese monster film Blue most recently. Ghost of Tsushima stands to be another project in the pipeline within PlayStation Productions. Most recently, it was revealed that the upcoming Twisted Metal TV series is to air uniquely on Peacock when it arrives. Additionally, The Last of Us show for HBO is expected to air for the service later in 2023 next year. From the impact of the Ghost of Tsushima, especially a film adaptation, the response has even shaken the team at Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. Sonic The Hedgehog 2 Breaks Records Of The First Film And Stands To Be The Best Opening Film For Jim Carrey

In the realm of video game adaptations, the film industry has yet to truly peak in terms of translating the interactive medium to meet the standards in the theater. However, Paramount Studios could be the first to truly find the right formula which took almost half a century for viewers to be satisfied with Sonic the Hedgehog in 2020. At the time, the debuting film already outperformed against Detective Pikachu (2019) in its opening weekend. And looking ahead with the additions in the sequel that releases in early April this year, it is expected the second film will be a continuation of the current success. Ahead of the film’s release, it was already confirmed the third movie is underway with a Knuckle’s TV show on Paramount+. A separate report from Giant Freakin Robot told a Tails film feature is also in the pipeline as well. According to the official Twitter page for the Sonic the Hedgehog movie, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is currently the “#1 movie in the world.” Additionally, the official account for the game also thanks its users as 30 years after the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 2, the titular film also shakes the globe. From Fandango Managing Editor Erik Davis on Twitter, he elaborates on the success of Sonic the Hedgehog 2. At no surprise, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is the largest box office opening for a video game film in U.S. history. More eye opening is that the same motion picture is currently #2 in overall weekend box office behind The Batman. With Sonic the Hedgehog 2 also gaining $10 million more in its opening weekend compared to the predecessor, this movie also breaks a new record for starring antagonist Jim Carrey. In the post, Davis shares that Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is the biggest opening film for Carrey’s career. The previous film holding that spot was 2003’s Bruce Almighty. Elaborating more on Carrey’s future, it is reported he could be retiring potentially soon. However, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Producers Toby Ascher & Neal H. Moritz expressed that the role could not be recasted. The pair are convinced that if Carrey were to retire, Dr, Robotnik would be an exemption for the actor.
