Street Fighter 6 Is Launching In 2023

We have known about Street Fighter 6 for a little while now and that Capcom is finally making it happen. Today during the PlayStation State of Play, the game was shown off with some new features for the fighting game. One of the features that caught everyone’s eye was the single player mode, World Tour. In this, you will be able to go through the streets looking for fights and anything else you can think of in a Street Fighter world. They haven’t talked too much on this besides giving this description below: “World Tour is an immersive single player story mode. This is a completely new experience that defies genre labels. Carve out your own legend on the streets! Look for more news on World Tour in the near future!” The other modes briefly featured were Battle Hub and the Fighting Ground. Something else that will be happening for the first time in a fighting game genre is that there will be real time commentary. That basically means the commentators who are involved with the Capcom Pro Tour will commentate on your battles in real time. Street Fighter 6 is planned for launch in 2023. You can read more here

What to Know About the Upcoming Gotham Nights PC Game Release

It’s no secret that 2021 was a bit of a letdown in terms of game releases, but 2022 has come back with a roar with many titles being released already. One that has gamers excited is Gotham Nights, which currently has a release date of Oct. 25, 2022. While it sounds like a long way off still, it’s only a few months and before you know it the game will arrive, so why not learn all you can in the meantime? Let’s break down the details that have been released and what you should know about the upcoming Gotham Nights game. Don’t Expect to See Batman The first key piece of information came as a surprise to some since the game takes place in the Batman universe. Contrary to what you may have thought, Gotham Nights will not have Batman in it. But don’t let this sway you from checking it out as you can play as Robin, Red Hood, Batgirl or even Nightwing instead. So, where’s Batman? He was killed in a Batcave explosion, which is why you’ll need to play as another hero that can keep Gotham safe. Why the Game Is Promising Every big release always touts many promises to capture the attention of players. Gotham Nights is no different and sets the stage for an interactive and dynamic open-world experience. It takes place across five of the district boroughs within Gotham City, giving you lots of terrain and ground to cover so it stays interesting and challenging. Go ahead and check out co-op multiplayer, drop-in drop-out with a friend, or solo game modes — whatever you’re in the mood for. As for the villains, look for such characters as the Court of Owls and Mr. Freeze. Why Was It Delayed? For those gamers who have been following the news of Gotham Nights from the beginning, you’ll know that this one was delayed. It was originally set to launch in March 2021, but the developers announced they needed more time to ensure a better gaming experience. While that’s understandable, it has also put added pressure on the developers to release something truly spectacular, free of bugs and issues, and a unique experience. There’s Still Time to Upgrade Your System With a new game such as Gotham Nights, you can bet there are some basic system requirements that you’ll need to have. This is the time to look into those requirements, make sure you’re covered, and if not, invest in a new PC set-up. These curved gaming monitors at Lenovo are a great option since curved monitors can provide you with a more immersive gaming experience, which means you can enjoy Gotham Nights to the fullest extent. If you’re a fan of Batman and the Batman universe, you’ll want to ensure your system is good to go and that you’re ready to pick up Gotham Nights the moment it is released. The buzz is continuing to build with this title and reviewers and gamers alike have high expectations.

Announced at The Game Awards 2020, the game is set on the moon of Jupiter Callisto as a prisoner must fight his way through an otherworldly outbreak taking place on the rock. From the footage that was shown at the time, it was certain plenty of inspiration came from Schofield’s first project whilst the new entry does bring a larger sense of mystery to how the story will evolve to the prior project. In February 2021, Skydance arranged a partnership to being a strategic advisor for the game. From the PlayStation State of Play livestream on Thursday, The Callisto Protocol is officially arriving this December. You can watch the gameplay trailer in the video below: “Horror starts with atmosphere.  Callisto is an oppressive world that feels desolate, isolated, and puts players on edge. We spend a ton of time designing the lighting to create a sense of dread and keep players guessing about what’s in the shadows,” Schofield explains in the creative decisions for the game. “We also obsess over building and releasing tension. You can’t have jump scares around every corner.  “Sometimes we space scares out to give players time to catch their breath, and sometimes we hit them with two or three scares in a row.  We want your heart to race with every tick of the PS5’s awesome haptics. From the satisfying swing of Jacob’s stun baton, to the heavy footsteps of a massive enemy, the PS5 helps us make players feel every moment of the pulse-pounding tension. “What would a horror game be without brutality?  Striking Distance Studios has designed a strategic combat system that forces players to get up close and personal with our horrifying creatures.  We seamlessly blend melee combat and gunplay with a unique gravity weapon called the GRP.” Are you excited for The Callisto Protocol? Resident Evil 4 Remke Scheduled For Launch In March 2023

Exploring the possibilities for what is next in line for Capcom’s Resident Evil franchise, Resident Evil 4 Remake is the likeliest guess to make. With Resident Evil 8 already out for more than a year, the most popular entry in the series is certain to make a return with the same flair as Resident Evil 2 & Resident Evil 3 previously. Originally, the game was reported to arrive sometime later this year. Additionally, new information surfaced from a FanByte report disclosing the direction this new release is to follow. From Imran Khan, he reported that the beta for the game is to play a larger role in conceptualizing the project rather than the full release. In particular, the pre-release version featured a darker experience that did not make it into the final version. During the PlayStation State of Play, Capcom unveiled Resident Evil 4 Remake with the game scheduled to launch later this March. You can watch the reveal trailer in the video below: “Resident Evil 4 is a remake of the 2005 game Resident Evil 4. When it first came out, Resident Evil 4 revolutionized the Resident Evil franchise with its new game-style that combined action, shooting, and resource management elements, subsequently setting the standard for future Resident Evil titles,” Capcom Promotion Producer Edvin Edso explains. “This time, the game is being developed to achieve state-of-the-art quality for a survival horror suitable for 2023, while preserving the essence of the original game. We aim to make the game feel familiar to fans of the series, while also providing a fresh feeling to it. This is being done by reimagining the storyline of the game while keeping the essence of its direction, modernizing the graphics and updating the controls to a modern standard.” Are you excited for Resident Evil 4 Remake? BioWare Reveals Title For Next Dragon Age Game To Be ‘Dreadwolf’

For those that might still remember, The Game Awards 2018 is where BioWare officially announced its plans for the next Dragon Age game. Despite the long-time wait since then, little detail regarding the project has been shared. But in 2020 is when BioWare opened up more on the project. In August fans got a glimpse at some concept art from a behind-the-scenes trailer from the team. Additionally, The Game Awards 2020 in December featured a teaser trailer for the patient fans still awaiting more on the game. According to Bloomberg in a separate report, the next Dragon Age got new information regarding the direction of the project. Namely players will find a single-player experience which strives away from online aspect included in Dragon Age Inquisition. On Thursday, BioWare revealed the official title for the next Dragon Age game, ‘Dreadwolf’. This comes full circle from the initial reveal in 2018 which referenced the Dreadwolf in the trailer. More information is said to be showcased later on this year which gets some fans excited for sure. Solas, the Dread Wolf. Some say he might be an ancient elven god, but some say not. Others say a betrayer of his people…or a savior who now seeks to rescue them at the cost of your world. His motives are inscrutable and his methods sometimes questionable, earning him a reputation as something of a trickster deity—a player of dark and dangerous games. Whether you’re new to Dragon Age™ stories or you’ve experienced them all, using Solas’s namesake no doubt suggests a spectrum of endless possibilities on where things may go. But at the core of this, like every past game, is you. If you’re new to Dragon Age, you have no need to worry about not having met our antagonist just yet. He’ll properly introduce himself when the time is right. “We suspect you have questions and they’ll be answered in time. While the game won’t be releasing this year, we’re growing closer to that next adventure. Rest assured, Solas is placing his pieces on the board as we speak. That’s all we have for now, but we hope knowing the official title has sparked some intrigue, as we’ll be talking more about the game later this year!” the team added. Elsewhere, BioWare appears to be shaping up well for the next Mass Effect game too. One report confirmed the game is now in early development. Furthermore Project Director Michael Gamble verified hints to Shepard returning is not accurate for the next game. You can read the full story by heading here. Next Mass Effect Game Now In “Early Development”, Developer Confirms No Hinting At Shepard’s Return

Ahead of the proper showcases for both upcoming Dragon Age & Mass Effect titles, BioWare leads Mark Darrah and Casey Hudson announced to be departing from the game studio. Despite being role models within the developer, the both decided to move on to new horizons while both projects are still in incubation. The general consensus within the team however did not alter: BioWare strives to regain the trust of its players with the next projects in the pipeline. According to BioWare in a previous Community Update in April, the next unnamed Mass Effect title is officially in early development. “There’s also the next game in the Mass Effect™ universe, which is now early in development. It’s going to be a while before we can talk about it in more detail, but we can’t wait to show you what we’re working on!” the team shared. Prior to its official announcement, the game was said to be in its “early stages” back in 2020. More recently, Project Director Michael Gamble revealed some context on the next entry. Although little information has released on the game so far, he did confirm that long-time Shepard fans will not find a return of the beloved character according to his response on Twitter. Atop of light details regarding the next game, there have been more circulating reports suggesting that a television show is underway. In early 2021, actor Henry Cavill posted an image of a script which was translated to be referencing Tali’Zorah which is a notable character within the Mass Effect universe. Later on BioWare’s Mac Walters referred the franchise to translate better into television rather than film which fans took as a hint at the time. More exciting came in January upon discovering that Amazon is close to arranging a deal to initiate production for a TV series. Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke made a statement on an arrangement which is suspected to be for Mass Effect. You can read the full report by heading here.
