Fallout 76 The Pitt Expedition Arrives This September

In the ongoing arc surrounding the expanding Fallout 76 experience, developer Bethesda Game Studios is planning to push the boundaries of the Appalachian Wasteland for new vistas moving forward. Originally, you may recall a datamine was uncovered revealing the expedition mode with Washington D.C. assets in the discovery. It was in a later trailer that the developer teased the mode for Fallout 3 DLC The Pitt instead. Currently, it is presumed that District Columbia is still planned for a separate yet larger expedition later in the future. Additionally, Bethesda Game Studios in a more recent roadmap this winter slated the upcoming update for Fallout 76 to be aimed for this fall. The content layout also included automaton battle arenas and a traveling Nuka Cola roadshow as well. At the Xbox + Bethesda Showcase, Bethesda Game Studios shares fresh footage for The Pitt with a release window aimed for this September. Oxide Games Announces Ara: History Untold

The latest Xbox + Bethesda Showcase has illustrated to deliver on some of the most popular genres in the industry. In that, Bethesda Game Studios did not hold back with Starfield featuring footage stretching from the massive RPG mechanics, an overhaul to the Creation Engine, and even welcomed in the expansive customization options as well. Additionally, fans are racing can stay occupied with the first footage for Forza Motorsport was also revealed then too. Elsewhere during the presentation, Microsoft has teamed up with Kojima Productions to work on a new unique project for Xbox Cloud Gaming extracting one of the most creative minds in Japan to work on the Xbox platform. Atop of that, developer Arkane Studios also featured its Left 4 Dead-like, open-world co-op experience with Redfall as well. To fill the stomach of real-time strategy fans, Oxide Games revealed Ara; Untold History. Originally, the game was reported to be in development under the alias ‘Project Indus’, but is now officially in the public eye. Grounded Gets Its Full Version 1.0 Release This September

Believe it or not, but Grounded has been in the public eye for nearly three years. Following Obsidian Entertainment being acquired by Microsoft, the team at X019 revealed Grounded. With the same formulaic gameplay elements that the developer is known for built with a child’s imagination has show to be popular among many players. Earlier this year, Obsidian Entertainment shared that Grounded already welcomed more than 10 million players. Atop of that, the full release is slated to ship sometime later down the road for 2022. Additionally, the game received one of its largest updates yet: The Bugs Strike Back. And with the Xbox + Bethesda Showcase this week, it is anticipated that Obsidian Entertainment will be making an announcement for sure. During the presentation on Sunday, Grounded has been confirmed to ship its full release later this September. You can watch the new trailer in the video below: “The full release will include all 12 updates already released during Game Preview/Early Access development, but now players will be able to unravel the entire mysterious story behind Grounded and their shrunken-ness. Find out how the teens got into the yard and the mad scientist behind it in the fully playable campaign — all of which can be experienced alone or with a group of friends,” Obsidian Entertainment Studio Head Feargus Urquhart explains. “The full release, Version 1.0, will also open an entirely new part of the Grounded world — the upper yard. This new section includes a ton more of the backyard to explore along with new armor recipes, new weapon recipes, and some secrets that we just can’t bring ourselves to spoil for you all. Nah, we will spoil something! The Mantis, an insect consistently requested by our incredible community. Microsoft & Team Cherry Confirms Hollow Knight: Silksong Coming To Xbox Game Pass

Among one of the most anticipated titles in recent years, many did not expect the amount of noise to grow like it does for Hollow Knight: Silksong. The game was announced roughly three years ago and little on the game has been shared since the inception of the project in 2019. At the time, the title was said to be planned as an expansion, but has grown and later realized into a full-on release. Since then, many fans continue to cash in on the idea that Nintendo has the game in its back pocket for the right occasion to reveal new footage on the game; a release date would also be nice to see as well, right? However, that day never came for patient fans as the wait continues to stretch over a couple years now. At the Xbox + Bethesda Showcase this Sunday, Team Cherry in a surprise reveal early into the show unveiled new gameplay for Hollow Knight: Silksong. Atop of that, the game is also confirmed to be coming to Xbox Game Pass as well – whenever it arrives that is. For one, Atlus attended the show to reveal the three latest Persona releases are coming to Xbox in the fall. October will introduce Persona 5 Royal followed by Persona 3 Portable & Persona 4 Golden sometime later on and possibly not in that order. Additionally, Team Ninja also made a surprise appearance. In that, the Nioh developer revealed a new IP – Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. Scorn Receives October Release Date In New Trailer

Prior to the release of the Xbox Series X – and before the Xbox Series S was even a thing – Microsoft held a presentation to showcase what titles are being developed solely for the upcoming powerhouse console. Amongst those was Ebb Software’s Scorn: the game was in active development for PC already and the highly graphic and detailed project received Xbox Series X support at the time. Now more than two years since that initial announcement, Ebb Software returns with an update on Scorn. The game is scheduled to release for Xbox Series X|S & PC later this holiday ahead of Halloween. Team Ninja Announces Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Comes 2023 To Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S/PC & Xbox Game Pass

In all things Team Ninja, the Japanese game studio remains to be a team that stands to be associated with PlayStation primarily. With the team’s involvement with Dead or Alive or the recent Nioh franchise unique to the platform. But nearly two decades ago, the team did make unique projects for Xbox like the Ninja Gaiden trilogy. And while previous studio lead Tomonobu Itagaki pledges his allegiance to the platform, the culture at the team does not show the same sentiment in recent years. However, Microsoft in a surprise announcement from Sunday’s showcase reveals that Team Ninja is once again working on a new game for its platform with Xbox Game Pass in mind this time around. Announcing Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, the new game shares plenty of DNA from Nioh for a new generation. You can watch the reveal trailer in the video below: “Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty follows the dramatic, action-packed story of a nameless militia soldier fighting for survival in a dark fantasy version of the Later Han Dynasty where demons plague the Three Kingdoms,” the trailer’s description reads. “Players fight off deadly creatures and enemy soldiers using swordplay based on the Chinese martial arts, attempting to overcome the odds by awakening the true power from within.” Unlike other featured titles at the presentation, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty does not appear to be a console launch exclusive. While the game will launch with Xbox Game Pass next year, the game will still be launching on other consoles – mainly PlayStation. Currently, PlayStation 5 is not listed for the game, but it is expected the title will updated for the platform later on. League Of Legends, Legends Of Runeterra, Teamfight Tactics, Valorant Coming To Xbox Game Pass With Perks

Across the repertoire of IP from Riot Games, each has proven to be well made with a cultivated following for each respectively. Either it being League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, Legends of Runeterra, or Valorant, players continue to flock to what the developer has in the oven. Now, those on Xbox Game Pass can experience these games coming later in the near future. At the Xbox + Bethesda Showcase this weekend, Riot Games revealed that its lineup of releases will be coming to Xbox Game Pass. Noted, this announcement is in regards to PC & mobile players. For now, console is out of the equation. Mojang Studios Reveals New Action Strategy Game Minecraft Legends, Scheduled For 2023 Launch

When it comes to developer Mojang Studios, it is a good guess the game studio is working on Minecraft. Even when the team is not occupied with the decade-old release, Minecraft is still the foundation for the team’s next project. Look at Minecraft Dungeons: set within the confines of the pixelate universe, the developer pushes the boundaries of its formula with a dungeon crawler experience. In recent weeks, new information has come in terms of the IP. From The Ankler, the live-action film is still taking form with Napoleon Dynamite director Jared Hess joining the production with Jason Mamoa (Aquaman) reported to star. Additionally, Minecraft just released The Wild Update which welcomes the new Deep Dark and improved swamp biome as well. As Dusk Falls Launches This July, Ships For Xbox Game Pass Day One

This Sunday brought us the Xbox + Bethesda Showcase and with it came some pretty bombastic reveals. Over from the Japanese region, we learned that Sega & Atlus are shipping Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royal to Xbox starting this fall. Additionally, a new partnership with Kojima Productions has formed for the Xbox Cloud Gaming platform as well from the presentation. Other tame reveals includes the upcoming 2D, 16th century narrative from Obsidian Entertainment – Pentiment. However, another anticipated story-driven experience was also showcased this weekend. Obsidian Entertainment Reveals New 2D Narrative Adventure Pentiment, Launches November 2022

Understanding what developer Obsidian Entertainment has slated for its upcoming playbook, there is a lot to shuffle through. For one, the developer is already elbows deep in its Pillars of Eternity open-world RPG Avowed. Additionally, the game studio does also have its hands on a sequel to The Outer Worlds which is expected to still be piecing itself together a year after its announcement. Atop of that, the team is also anticipated to be working on a new experience codenamed ‘Project Pentiment’. From Windows Central, the game is said to be a 16th century narrative-driven detective noir-like project. Elsewhere, fans are hoping that the claims of a follow-up to Fallout: New Vegas is on the horizon too: GameBeat’s Jeff Grubb told the project is being discussed internally earlier in 2022. Recently, the developer hinted a new reveal will be taking place at the approaching Microsoft presentation. At the Xbox + Bethesda Showcase, Obsidian Entertainment officially unveiled Pentiment.
