Sonic Frontiers Opening Cinematic and Super Sonic Boss Fight Leaked

Sonic Frontiers is not due out until this November, but that hasn’t stopped a leaker from uploading the opening cinematic scene to the game as well as Super Sonic fighting a boss titan that was seen in the official trailer. The opening cinematic begins by showing Dr. Eggman getting sucked into some type of wormhole while trying to use the crystals. The scene then cuts to Sonic standing on top of a bi-plane being piloted by Tails and Amy. Another wormhole opens up in the middle of the sky and sucks them right up as well. There is no audio in the provided scene, but you can watch it here. The boss fight with Super Sonic and Titan can also be found in the link as well. The original video appears to be uploaded by Twitter user acrolvm, but the tweet encompassing this video has already been copyright claimed by Sega. Take a look, and let us know what you think. Sonic Frontiers releases November 8, 2022.

Project U, A New Co-op Shooter, Revealed by Ubisoft with Closed Play Test

A new official Ubisoft website for “Project U” is live now, and it is for an unannounced co-op shooter. The link, as found by Comicbook, has really no information about the title other than a statement that reads “Codename “Project U” explores a new concept of session-based co-op shooter, where many players unite to prevail against an overwhelming threat!”. The closed play test will only be relegated to PC players in western Europe, specifically the following countries: France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Spain, Italy. The game will also be entirely in English. There is no date on when the actual closed test will start, but anyone who wishes to sign up may do so at the link above. No word on what the game may be, but session based against an overwhelming threat” sounds a lot like a 4v1 asymmetrical type of game. We have reached out to Ubisoft for comment.

A ‘Lunar Shift’ Xbox Wireless Controller Could Be Coming Soon

It looks like there will be another Xbox Wireless Controller coming apparently and it’s called ‘Lunar Shift’. This comes from Twitter user, @EspiaDeOfertas who is known for posting listings he finds early through Amazon. This Lunar Shift controller has a Surreal Shimmer feature that changes color with light and motion and of course comes with the Xbox Wireless and Bluetooth feature along with the Textured Grips that have become a staple for Xbox controllers. The user did not link to the official listing he found, but it is safe to say that it looks legit and we will have to wait and see when Microsoft will officially release this one. As we know Starfield was originally planned to launch this November and this controller would be perfect to launch with this game, but who knows at this point. Creo que acabo de encontrar en Amazon un control de Xbox que Microsoft todavía no anuncia. Microsoft will look into having a disable option for Quick Resume on Xbox Series XlS

A feature that has been nice since the Xbox Series XlS launched was the fact you could Quick Resume into your games. What is nice about the feature is that you can jump right into your game unlike in the past where you’d have to go through all the intro and loading screens to get onto your game.  It’s great for single player games because you can jump back in right where you left off. A recent discussion within the Xbox community is the fact that for online only games it would break then you’d have to quit the build.  Twitter user, GabeTC99 replied to a tweet made by known Xbox fan Tim Dog where he shares how great the feature is. Gabe was questioning why you can’t disable the feature if you wanted to. I still don’t understand how it’s not a feature you can disable, it’s amazing for a lot of games but when it tries to quick resume an online only game it absolutely breaks it and you have to manually quit. If only an option to disable it for such games existed! — GabeTC (@GabeTC99) September 29, 2022 Unexpectedly, Phil Spencer replied to the Xbox fan sharing that “We will put it on the list of things to look at.” Good feature ask, makes sense. We will put it on the list of things to look at. — Phil Spencer (@XboxP3) September 29, 2022 One of the things that Xbox has always done was listening to the community and trying their best to please their users.  How would you feel about having the option to disable Quick Resume on Xbox Series XlS?
