New Job Listing Reveals Pokémon Team Creatures Inc Searching For Hires To Work On Next Generation Hardware

When looking at the top-selling console for the 9th generation of console hardware, many would guess the PlayStation 5 is in the lead. However, the reality is that the Nintendo Switch is in the same ballpark as Xbox Series & PS5 as it started ahead in 2017. It wasn’t until 2020 that competitors joined the race. But despite the lacking power of the Nintendo Switch, it has recorded more than 111 million units sold as of this August. But, is there some version of a “Switch Pro” out there? Well, according to Nintendo there isn’t. In a statement last September via Twitter, corporate Nintendo denounced ongoing reports of such a device existing. Howbeit, when tearing apart the Nintendo Switch OLED Model, it was discovered the new system was provided an HDMI 2.0 port which is compatible with 4K output. Now according to a new job listing for Creatures Inc, there is potentially more evidence a new system is on the way. For those unfamiliar, Creatures Inc is a developer ties to the Pokémon since its inception and has worked on countless titles as it stands to be the co-owner of the franchise alongside GameFreak. “Pokémon model/motion data production for the ‘Pokémon’ series, Pokémon-related games such as the ‘Pokémon Ranger’ series, the ‘Poképark’ series, and ‘Detective Pikachu’ and smartphone applications Video production for ‘Odoru: Pokémon Ongakutai’, ‘aDanza’, NHK’s ‘Minna no Uta’, Pokémon Kids Channel, etc., and other research and development with an eye on next-generation hardware,” the listing reads through an automatic translator. What is more interesting is how the job posting references older subseries like Pokémon Ranger & Poképark as both remain dormant for roughly a decade. Even more is the nod to Detective Pikachu. As many understand, a sequel is in development, but details on the project has not surfaced since its unveiling at the time. What are your thoughts on potentially nodding to a new Nintendo console?
Hideo Kojima Denounces Rumors On Work With Blue Box Game Studios In Recent Podcast Episode

While Konami over the past few years has not appeased many cries for new entries in the Silent Hill IP, the firm has fallen victim to a string of rumors concerning new, unannounced projects underway. It was not until last month the firm shared titles like Silent Hill f, Silent Hill 2 Remake, and Silent Hill Townfall currently in the pipeline. Additionally, Hideo Kojima himself has been said to be attached to some degree for upcoming Silent Hill projects. While nothing is confirmed, another rumor surfaced sharing Kojima’s involvement with Blue Box Game Studios as its title Abandoned. In a post made last year, studio head Hasan Kahraman denounced the claims. From its latest episode of Brain Structure with Geoff Keighley, it is revealed that Kojima is certainly not attached to any project with the developer. He goes on to note the number of tweets aimed at him regarding the claims. “They still send me collages and deep fake images, like twenty a day, it’s really quite a nuisance.,” says Kojima in a transcribed statement by Video Game Chronicles. Not only that, but even Blue Box Game Studios on Twitter further commented on following Kojima acknowledging the ongoing rumors. “We want to thank @Kojima_Hideo for addressing the conspiracies openly. It has been a burden and not cool for both fans and developers. We hope everyone can close this for good.” Concerning what Kojima is currently working on now, it is more than likely that a second Death Stranding project is in development. In one interview with Norman Reedus, he discloses involvement in another title related to the property with Kojima attached. This is the second instance of Reedus blatantly admitting to there being a second game. You can read the full report by heading here. Did you believe any of the Blue Box Game Studios rumors?

Deadpool, Venom, Morbius, and Storm Confirmed For Marvel’s Midnights Suns Season Pass

In the ongoing arc for Marvel’s Midnight Suns, it was not too long before uncertainty fell for the game. Despite the game being announced back in August last year, the title did have a slated release date for spring 2022. However, the game inching close to that release was pushed and later followed by an undate timeframe leaving fans questioning how near it is to releasing. But in September, the new date was officially unveiled. In that, Marvel’s Midnight Suns would officially arrive this December ahead of 2023. So all now that remains is the post-launch plans for the game as many would expect. Typically, a season pass-structured stream of content is how most titles are handled following it hitting store shelves. And that is what is on the way. In a 2K press release, the publisher discloses Deadpool, Venom, Morbius, and Storm are confirmed to be add-ons for the season pass which will release periodically. You can read the list in order below: DLC Pack #1 – Deadpool: A foulmouthed mercenary with a heart of gold, Deadpool has a penchant for grisly violence and lighthearted, fourth-wall breaking wisecracks; DLC Pack #2 – Venom: Spider-Man’s nemesis and one of the main game’s bosses, Venom turns playable hero in DLC #2, armed with all of the same symbiote attacks that once threatened the lives of the Midnight Suns; DLC Pack #3 – Morbius: One of the original comic book Midnight Sons, Morbius is an accomplished biochemist who, in an attempt to cure his own rare blood disease, turned himself into a living vampire; DLC Pack #4 – Storm: A powerful member of the X-Men, Storm has the ability to generate and manipulate wind, lightning, rain, and other types of weather to her will. From the original reveal of Marvel’s Midnight Suns, it did draw some odd inspirations for its game. In that, the announcement focused on heroes like Iron Man & Spider-Man as featured protagonists for the title. Howbeit, other characters that are accurately in the group like Dr Strange & Blade were there. Thankfully, other original Midnight Suns members like Morbius will be in it as well later on. Recently, Marvel announced a new multi-title collaboration with Electronic Arts. This new arrangement will provide roughly three titles with Electronic Arts at the helm. The deal already includes the previously-announced Iron Man project being developed by Star Wars Squadrons & Dead Space Remake team EA Motive. You can read the full report by heading here. Whilst the firm holds its own unique properties, it has been noted for licensed work in the past like Harry Potter and the most recent string of Star Wars titles. And now with Lucasfilm Games established, it did pledge to work with Electronic Arts moving forward alongside other parties as well. Reflecting back to January 2022, Electronic Arts & Lucasfilm Games unveiled a new three-game plan with Respawn Entertainment in the center. This includes a sequel for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, a first-person shooter experience, and a real-time strategy project – all with the Apex Legends team in the center. Not to mention the recent arrangement with Marvel for a new Iron Man project, the firm has more in line moving forward. In a recent press release, it is revealed that both Electronic Arts & Marvel has established a new long-time partnership to roll out a minimum of three titles; one including the project involving EA Motive already. We look forward to welcoming Marvel into the EA family of creators and know this collaboration will produce exceptional experiences for our players. Laura Meile, Electronic Arts Chief of Operating Officer “At Marvel, we strive to find best-in-class teams who can take our characters on heroic journeys in ways they haven’t before and collaborating with Electronic Arts will help us achieve that,” said Marvel Games Executive Vice President, Jay Ong. “We pride ourselves on being enthusiastic, creative collaborators with developers so they have the freedom to create something deeply unique and truly remarkable. “The team at Motive is getting started on that with their Iron Man video game and we can’t wait for players to learn more in the far future.” In terms of the direction this partnership will lead does not add context to other titles outside of Iron Man.
