Halo Infinite’s Holiday event is live and first-year stats revealed

Halo Infinite is officially over a year old and it has been a up and down rollercoaster for the game since then. The Winter Contingency II event is live in the game with a free 10 level event pass that includes a Santa hat for your Spartan and with Halo Infinite over a year old now, 343 Industries revealed some stats over that span. 170+ million multiplayer matches played 50+ million campaign missions played 16+ billion Spartans slayed 2+ billion bots dispatched 6 million Spartans “Ninja’d” 130,000+ maps made in Forge That is a lot of Ninja’s and Spartan kills. It’s almost crazy to see that many Forge maps already made since the mode came out on November 8th. The blog post also talks about all the other achievements Halo had this year along with the Halo Championship Series, Halo Television Series, Halo MCC and all the partnerships made. The focus for Halo Infinite in 2023 is to provide more content and that starts with Season 3: Echoes Within. “That’s a wrap for us this year! It’s been a hell of a ride and we’re flooring the accelerator when Season 3 (“Echoes Within”) arrives in 2023 as we look forwards to more regular content drops and updates for Halo Infinite… but, for now, let’s pump the brakes and enjoy the Holiday break with our loved ones.” The Holiday themed event for Halo Infinite is now live until January 3, 2023. You can unlock all 10 rewards by simply completing challenges at any given time during the event and in any playlist you desire. “For the Event Pass this year, you can progress it simply by completing Challenges, which means that you can complete the entire Event Pass at any point during the time in which the Winter Contingency II event is running. This comes as the result of community feedback from last year’s event, so we hope that this change gives players more agency to earn this free content at their own pace.” Recently, Halo Infinite received the long awaited Custom Game Browser which means you can now search for other custom games going on right in-game. The content has been strong for Halo to end 2022.
