Xbox Game Pass March 2023 New Titles Includes Civilization VI, Guilty Gear Strive, Valheim, And More

Xbox Game Pass has and continues to bring more and exciting titles to its library in recent weeks. At the end of February 2023 branching into March, Microsoft has continued this tradition with a lineup including Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty & Soul Hackers 2. Not to mention the prior update at the start of the month including Atomic Heart and Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord then too. As for the future coming soon, we already have an understanding on the forthcoming forecast. In that, Embracer Group did confirm Valheim will officially hit Xbox Game Pass for console users this month. Additionally, Arc System Works also told that its plans for Guilty Gear Strive as the game received a surprise launch for Xbox consoles, Windows, and of course Xbox Game Pass. Now on Tuesday, Microsoft has revealed its first March roster including the aforementioned titles plus more. Revealed at the Paradox Announcement Show shared both Cities: Skylines II & The Lamplight League are both to ship day & date for Xbox Game Pass at their respected release dates. As for the departing titles coming March 15th this month, those games are: F1 2020 (Console),Goat Simulator (Cloud; Console; PC), Kentucky Route Zero (Cloud; Console; PC), Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy (Cloud; Console; PC), Paradise Killer (Cloud; Console; PC), Undertale (Cloud; Console; PC), Young Souls (Cloud; Console; PC), and Zero Escape: The Nonary Games (Cloud; Console; PC). Guilty Gear Strive Arrives To Xbox Consoles, Windows, And Xbox Game Pass This Week

“It plays great, looks fantastic has a ton of unique characters and has something for casual and hardcore fans alike. The much laughed at online lobby system even shines in the real release. With the superb netcode and ranking system doing a great job of letting lower skill players hang out in beginner rooms to play amongst themselves,” our review for the Guilty Gear Strive read back at launch for the game. The game originally announced back at EVO 2019 shook its fanbase as a new installment is on the way from Arc System Works. Originally, the title was slated for a late 2020 release, but with the developing COVID-19 pandemic pushed its release to a new window in April 2021. Even still, it was not until June did the game officially arrive. Since then, the game across PC & PlayStation welcomed multiple content seasons and continued support to this day. In a surprise reveal this week, Guilty Gear Strive is now available for Xbox alongside Windows as well. Not to mention the game is also out for Xbox Game Pass also. The announcement came from the official Japanese Guilty Gear Twitter page, and this reveal applies to Xbox in North America too. “‘Guilty Gear -Strive-’ is the latest entry in the critically acclaimed Guilty Gear fighting game franchise. Created by Daisuke Ishiwatari and developed by Arc System Works, “Guilty Gear -Strive-“ upholds the series’ reputation for groundbreaking hybrid 2D/3D cell-shaded graphics and intense, rewarding gameplay,” the description from official Xbox page reads. On Monday, Xbox Game Pass also received two additional titles via Paradox Interactive. Paradox Announcement Show Confirms Cities: Skylines II, The Lamplighters League For Xbox Game Pass

When it comes to Microsoft in fueling its platform with unique titles and genres, strategy/simulation is no stranger to Xbox. In 2022, Microsoft made a pledge to do this with Age of Empire II receiving an Xbox port coming in early 2023. Not to mention 2021 the year prior with the release of Microsoft Flight Simulator for Xbox Series X|S as well. As for what this will bring moving forward, Microsoft is partnering with Paradox Interactive to further its stretch for similar titles later on. Already, Cities: Skylines – Remastered arrived to Xbox Game Pass in early February. And it is expected with the Xbox firm also backing the publisher for its Paradox Announcement Show this week will only bring more additions to the service. From the presentation held on Monday, it reveals that two more titles are arriving to the service. In that, Cities: Skylines II was announced. While the listing is up on Steam now, the game in the reveal trailer shares it is coming to Xbox Game Pass. Additionally, a new IP ‘The Lamplight League’ was also revealed at the show as well and like before with the city simulator will also be releasing on Xbox Game Pass too. “Create and manage your own city without restrictions. Offering a deep simulation and a living economy, Cities: Skylines II will challenge your decision-making skills and allow you to build the cities of your dreams. Get ready for a new epic scale in the most realistic city builder – ever,” Cities: Skylines II description reads. The Lamplight League overview reads as: “An original game created by Seattle-based Harebrained Schemes, featuring globetrotting pulp adventure and strategic turn-based combat set in an alternate, stylish 1930s.” The announcement post also reiterates on CrusaderKings III, which is already on Xbox Game Pass, as a new PC expansion ‘Tours and Tournaments’ is coming. Popular City Builder, Cities: Skylines is getting a sequel that was announced on Monday from Paradox Interactive and Colossal Order Ltd. No release date has been said yet besides that Cities: Skylines II will be coming out in 2023 for current gen consoles and PC. “If you can dream it, you can build it!
