Persona 3 Reload will come to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch
The leaks of Persona 3 Reload keep on coming. Listings for the Atlus remake have been found for all console platforms being PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series XlS and Nintendo Switch. The original reports of Persona 3 Reload was that it’s coming to Xbox Game pass and is expected to be at the Xbox Games Showcase on Sunday, June 11. One of the first listings found was from xtralife.com where it confirms Persona 3 Reload will have a physical release. When clicking the listing it says Early 2024 for this release, but that could just be a placeholder. A price was not suggested yet either. Trailers for both Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactica were posted accidentally by Atlus as well. Next Illumination-Universal Film For Nintendo Is Reported To Be The Legend Of Zelda
While Sega & Paramount has established itself with the Sonic the Hedgehog series over the course of these past few years setting a new bar for video game film franchises, Nintendo alongside Universal over the course of a few months stood in the way of the sun. After hitting theaters back in April, The Super Mario Bros. Movie was projected and has since overtaken more than $1 billion in box office sales globally. Looking ahead, it is certain more Nintendo films with Illumination is on the way. Previously, Nintendo CEO Shuntaro Furukawa confirmed more is planned with the Minions creator. Additionally, The Legend of Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma does share excitement on the idea of a film adaptation. Howbeit, he does not confirm one is in the pipeline. Well in a new episode of The Hot Mic podcast, insider Jeff Sneider says that Universal-Illumination is close to finishing talks on a movie for The Legend of Zelda. You can watch the segment of the video below: “I’m told that Universal is, in fact, closing a ‘big deal’ with the Nintendo corporation for The Legend of Zelda. Zelda is looking like the next big Illumination-Nintendo franchise, which again- which we were all sort of expecting. I’m told that is happening. It’s going to cost Universal a pretty penny because- y’know the success of Super Mario and Nintendo knows its worth at this point […] I’m told that is going to be a reality.” As for other endeavors on the way for Nintendo in the movie theater, we are certain a sequel for The Super Mario Bros. Movie will come. Even more, Luigi voice actor Charlie Day went on to share his interest in a Luigi’s Mansion spin-off film if it were to come to fruition later down the road. Grasshopper Manufacture Teases Shadows Of The Damned: Remastered, Showcase Scheduled For June 15th
Under the extended umbrella of Grasshopper Manufacture titles, Suda51 is sitting on a goldmine of new titles- er a repertoire of legacy titles due for a makeover. Already, the Japanese developer revealed that Lollipop Chainsaw is receiving a remake. After shipping more than a decade ago, the Xbox 360-era title is being repurposed for new hardware and aims to launch sometime in 2023. Additionally, the studio head also shared that other Grasshopper Manufacture IPs are also in the firm’s possession after being held prisoner from its publishers. Shadow Of The Damned, The Silver Case, and select Fire Pro Wrestling characters were confirmed to now be officially owned by the game studio in the interview. In an abrupt announcement online on Thursday, Grasshopper Manufacture shares Shadow Of The Damned: Remastered is officially on the way with a brief teaser. After A Two Year Hiatus, Indie Megabooth Is Officially Returning
While many of the things that were temporarily taken away from the video game industry was eventually returned following the fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic, some things were never the same. For one, the market for in-person shows were never the same as E3 looks to be in its demise. Even Summer Game Fest host Geoff Keighley explains the event was digging its own grave as the world continued to evolve. Additionally, that is not all that was sewed into the same fabric from the new decade pandemic. In that, Indie Megabooth was also rendered immobile until further notice from the global event. In April 2020, the organization announced it will be going into hibernation as the world begins to close down to contain further spread of the ailment then. Well, at Day of the Devs on Thursday, founder Kelly Wallick announced that Indie Megabooth is to make its return to the living after almost two years since the initial announcement for its slumber. New Dead By Daylight Nicolas Cage Survivor Launches On July 25
In the realm of Dead by Daylight, developer Behaviour Interactive remains to keep the coals warm on its ongoing, online thriller. With new chapters and featured killers/survivors, many fans are excited the next step the series will take. Previously, it was revealed Dead by Daylight will be adapted into a live-action film with Blumhouse Productions’ & James Wan’s Atomic Monsters. Not word on casting or a release was shared then. Additionally, Behaviour Interactive also revealed Dead by Daylight is branching with two more games on the way. But the new endeavors will be handled by separate teams entirely. Supermassive Games is to focus on a new story-driven experience whilst Midwinter Entertainment is to conjure up a new online experience – all set within the same universe. From Summer Game Fest on Thursday, it was revealed Dead by Daylight’s upcoming Nicolas Cage collaboration is officially releasing in late July. Despite his recent film Renfield posing as Lord Dracula and the next film Sympathy for the Devil’, Cage will instead be a survivor rather than a killer. During his time on stage at the showcase, Cage explains his role with the name sake Nic Cage survivor swiftly finds himself in the fog when trying to get to location for a movie. “Someone very important in my family is a Dead by Daylight enthusiast,” Cage explains for his reason entering the game, “and that really put the hook in it. Persona 3 Reload & Persona 5 Tactica trailers were posted early by Atlus
Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Tactica are real and we know they are coming to Xbox Game Pass later this year. Atlus might’ve gotten a little too excited on their Instagram where they posted the trailers early for both games, but quickly took them down. It gave everyone enough time to save them and post them elsewhere. Based off the intros for the trailers it seems like they will be officially revealed at the Xbox Games Showcase on Sunday. The quality of the trailers are not the best, but you’ll get to understand what they are. Persona 3 Reload is a complete remake of Persona 3 and Persona 5 Tactica is a new tactical game with a different art style that we haven’t usually seen in Persona.
