The worst kept secret of 2023 has been Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III as more leaks continue to pour on. The promotion that is shown on the box looks to feature in-game content whether its cosmetic items or Double XP remains to be seen. This isn’t the first time we saw the Modern Warfare III logo. In a recent leak that shared War Mode and Ninja Perk are making a return, it was shared what the font logo would be like. Leaks were getting out so much that Activision confirmed through a tweet that Modern Warfare II Operators, Weapons and Bundles would carry over to ‘Call of Duty 2023’. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is unofficially expected to release on November 10, 2023.

This Is a Free MMO, Very Different From the Usual Free MMO Yes, in Genshin Impact there are many signs of a typical, free-play Asian MMORPG. Microsoft Reveals First Ever Pizza Scented Xbox Controller
Microsoft started the week off by announcing the first ever Pizza scented Xbox controller. This comes from a partnership made with the TMNT: Mutant Mayhem movie coming out on August 2, 2023. They revealed four TMNT controllers that represent Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael. These Pizza scented Xbox controllers are only available through a giveaway Xbox is hosting on Twitter. The giveaway will conclude on August 13, 2023. Fans can enter to win the Wireless Controllers by following Xbox Game Pass on Twitter and retweeting the official Xbox Game Pass sweepstakes tweet. The giveaway will run from July 24 through August 13, 2023. Official rules can be found here. Fast X Director Louis Leterrier Opens To Idea For Fortnite Movie
So far, San Diego Comic-Con has been another entertaining year for attendees over on the west coast. Traditionally, developers & publishers make appearances at the show featuring content for comic-tied titles. For instance, Insomniac Games presented more Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 with a new trailer featuring the full look at Venom for the PlayStation exclusive. Additionally, Sony Interactive Entertainment also issued the first glimpse at the all new Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PlayStation 5 Edition console. Pre-orders for the new model is said to go live later this July. Even NetherRealm Studios was present to feature a new trailer for Mortal Kombat 1 which headlined Homelander, Omni-Man, and Peacemaker for the upcoming Kombat Pass for the game. Now new discussion has surfaced for an upcoming Fortnite movie thanks to one exchange from Fast X director Louis Leterrier. Caught by ScreenRant, the director during one panel expressed heavy interest to approach the project with a live-action film. “[I would direct a Fortnite movie] because the game is incredible. The characters… I mean there’s so much more to be told. It’d be funny. It would be full of action and everything,” he said. So far, there has been limited reach in terms of Fortnite expanding into transmedia. Although the lore for the Epic Games universe is present with each season & chapter that drops, there has been no evident effort to expand the series beyond into film or even television. It is no secret much of the resources is poured into content for collaborations and other features. Previously, another Fast & Furious director expressed interest to adapt a separate video game movie. In that, F. Gary Gray when speaking to IGN shared he is pursuing a film adaptation on Volition’s Saints Row. But years later, little has earthed on the progress of this effort. Trailer For Mortal Kombat Legends: Cage Match Shares October Release
For a couple of years now, NetherRealm Studios & Warner Bros. Animation have continued to collaborate as collective properties forge a new string of animated films. This trend started with Mortal Kombat Legends. The new anthology of films star the cast of fighters across a range of films – Scorpion’s Revenge, Battle for the Realms, and Snow Blind most recently. Additionally, the two parties continued this trend beyond Mortal Kombat. In 2021, fans also welcomed Injustice: Gods Among Us which re-told the plot of the first titular game which also stood as an adaptation of the ‘Multiverse’ comic line from DC Comics. Now recently, a new trailer has surfaced for the next Mortal Kombat Legends film. In that, Warner Bros. Animation uploaded the first trailer for Mortal Kombat Legends: Cage Match and is expected to release the film later this October. Alan Wake II will be at Gamescom 2023
Gamescom 2023 is the next big event for the video game industry and companies are coming out with their lineup of games they’ll be showcasing. Bandai Namco, Microsoft and Bethesda revealed they’ll be going to the event in Cologne, Germany. Communications Director at Remedy Entertainment, Thomas Puha shared that Alan Wake II will be at Gamescom and they’ll be showing it off. “A lot of you are seemingly going to Gamescom based on the amount of emails I get asking about Alan Wake 2 being there…nice. Yes, we are going to be in Cologne showing the game.” Alan Wake II is due to come out this October 17th and we assume fans attending Gamescom will be able to play the game. Thomas said “we are showing the game” which could mean they are only sharing a demo or letting fans attendees play. Remedy Entertainment took heat over the fact Alan Wake II will be available digital only when it releases. The reasoning is to give “more time to polish” ahead of release. Alan Wake II will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Since the games initial announcement, Sony has come out with a variety of limited editions for fans to choose from. We are less than 3 months away from the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PlayStation. Let’s take a look at all of the options fans have to spend on their favorite Marvel franchise. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Launch Edition – $69.99 USD If you pre-order the Spider-Man 2 Launch Edition you’ll receive in-game bonuses which includes 2 Early Unlock Suits, A Web Grabber Gadget, +3 Skill Points and you’ll get 3 color variants for Peter and Miles’ suits. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Digital Deluxe Edition – $79.99 USD The Digital Deluxe Edition contains everything included with the Launch Edition and some more.
