PAYDAY 3 Open Beta Announced, begins September 8
Deep Silver and Starbreeze Studios announced an Open Beta for their upcoming co-op heist shooter fantasy, PAYDAY 3. In August, there was a closed Beta for PAYDAY 3 that was exclusive to Xbox Series XlS and PC (Steam). Now anyone can participate in testing out the first-person shooter later this week. The PAYDAY 3 Technical Open Beta will begin September 8 through September 11. The platforms available for this open test include Xbox Series XlS and PC via Steam yet again. This leaves PlayStation out of a test once more. The PAYDAY 3 Open Beta will feature the same content as the closed Beta and there will be no key required to join. This test is based on a game version from April 2023 and not a final representation of PAYDAY 3. By participating in this brief Beta you’ll help Starbreeze Studios identify issues ahead of the game’s official release. Here is what you can expect in the Open Beta: The original gang: Dallas, Hoxton, Chains and Wolf. The iconic clown-masked characters that made the PAYDAY franchise infamous are all playable. No rest for the wicked is a PAYDAY 3 bank heist, that charges the players with relieving a small bank of the cash cluttering up their vault. It’s their own choice to go stealth without anyone noticing how the cash evaporated or go loud to really experience that NYC robbery feeling. Schedule For Tokyo Game Show Gets Revealed With Its 2023 Event Taking Place Later This Month
Alike most global gaming shows, the 2020 pandemic put the annual event in a stranglehold as attendees & exhibitors were instructed to stay home. Amid that, the show alike other events resulted with livestreamed events as an alternative. However, 2023 is opening up for many shows with the likes of QuakeCon & Gamescom both returning to in-person shows earlier in August already. And the same is already for Tokyo Game Show too. Although last year’s Tokyo Game Show did welcome attendees back to the show in-person, it is fully embraced for its 2023 event this year. Starfield Premium Edition Upgrade Scales Xbox Store Sales In Multiple Regions
Across the spanning, endless depths of space in Starfield and the number of planets available to explore, players are going the extra mile to drop into Bethesda’s newest IP no matter the cost. Already, Steam has illustrated this with more than 200,000 concurrent players just for the pre-launch early access. This also extends to the game’s #1 placement for sales on the PC launcher as well. Even more, the game is surging on Amazon as well for both Premium Edition alongside Standard Edition copies as release for Starfield comes this week. And Twitch also finds a new milestone for Starfield in a recent surprise. In that, it revealed that Starfield now stands as the most-streamed first-party release for the platform; before the official release that is too. Now in a new string of reports, the Premium Edition Upgrade for Starfield has been a hot seller on the Xbox Store. From Pure Xbox, both U.S. & U.K. have found the item to be the top selling item on its list. Video Game Chronicle goes on to note similar traction also in territories including Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, India, New Zealand, Japan and ‘every eligible European country’. Starfield Breaks New Record On Twitch Being Most-Streamed Console Exclusive Game
For many players already exploring the open systems of Starfield already, it is no secret that early access for Bethesda’s newest IP in two decades is out now. So far, the success for Starfield cannot be discounted with more than 200,000 players that paid ahead for the premium version of Starfield through Steam – not the cheaper upgrade for Xbox Game Pass owners. And this is not the only strength illustrated favoring Starfield in its pre-launch sales. Of course, with the numbers of Steam concurrent players, the overall top sales crowns the title as well currently placed at first. Even on Amazon, Starfield also shows to be on a strong path as well for Bethesda and the greater Xbox platform too. Now a new milestone has been revealed over on Twitch. Via TwitchTracker, Starfield now sits as the most-streamed title on the platform for a first-party release. And considering this was before the wider public can enjoy the game certainly says a lot. The game despite this new title is only placed at #42 on the list. However, this achievement should not be undermined as the game has overshadowed other release giants of the past. That includes The Last of Us Part II, God of War Ragnarok, and Pokémon Legends: Arceus to name a few. If we want to get into specifics, technically Minecraft is the true champion of this title considering the game is owned by Microsoft. But, being a multiplatform title, doesn’t properly fit the mold. Starfield – Where To Modify A Ship
In Starfield, you can customize your ship with new features to make it better with flying, fighting, and how it looks. New players may wonder where they can modify their ship since the game can be overwhelming when first jumping in after doing just a few missions. Where can I modify my ship? To modify a ship in Starfield you can go to New Atlantis located in Jemison and there should be an option to Talk To The Ship Services Technician. Once you load into the landing area of your ship, you’ll see the Ship Services Technician straight ahead and you’ll want to talk to him. Select I’d like to view and modify my ships. Once you select that option you’ll be brought to the customization screen where you can explore ways to improve your ship. To finish just back out of it and it’ll ask you if you are sure about purchasing the parts. Doing this will help you unlock the Chief Engineer Achievement on Xbox Series XlS worth 10 Gamerscore.
Minecraft has been rated for Xbox Series XlS
Minecraft has been on Xbox for over 10 years now starting from the Xbox 360 to the Xbox One and the game has yet to receive an enhanced version on Xbox Series XlS. It looks like that is going to change as the Entertainment Software Rating Board recently rated Minecraft for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S in the U.S. This version of Minecraft will be enhanced so that will bring updated features that we haven’t seen in the game yet on a console such as Ray Tracing. A Hogwarts Legacy sequel is reportedly in the works
Earlier this year, Warner Bros. Games and Avalanche Studios released Hogwarts Legacy for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series XlS, and PC. The action RPG turned out to be a great hit for the start of 2023 receiving outstanding reviews including a 9.5 from Rectify Gaming. According to known leaker, MyTimeToShineHello on X shared that a Hogwarts Legacy Sequel is in the works from Warner Bros. Games.
