Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition Rated For PlayStation 5
Guerrilla Games released Horizon Forbidden West over a year ago on February 18, 2022, for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. A new rating for the game suggests there will be a new edition of it coming in the near future. The Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition was found rated in Singapore showing the platform for this edition is for PlayStation 5. What does a Complete Edition mean? This would mean that post-launch content like Burning Shores that recently released for the game would become available in this version. Sony Interactive Entertainment has not announced anything publicly yet, but it could be soon since this is a perfect Holiday product to sell this year. Source: Reddit
Rumor: Remakes of a Nintendo DS & Wii game to be revealed at upcoming Nintendo Direct
A Nintendo Direct for September 2023 is rumored to be happening within the next week anytime between September 11 through September 15 and leaks of what’s going to be there are coming out. Recently, it has been rumored that F-Zero will appear in this Direct with something new for the Nintendo Switch. Pyoro, a very reliable leaker around Nintendo has come out with more teases of what we could expect in the reported Direct for this month. The leaker tweeted “Remakes of a DS game and a Wii game” in a series of posts over the last 24 hours that relate to this digital presentation. He then answered both the DS game and Wii game are related, but no other information was shared. https://twitter.com/Pyoro_X/status/1700516497003880594 We’ll have to wait and see when Nintendo will announce a Direct as it should come very soon. Pyoro hasn’t proven to be wrong yet with his leaks.
EA Sports NHL 24 will not be released on Nintendo Switch
NHL 24 was officially revealed on August 16, 2023, showcasing new features for the game such as the Sustained Pressure and Goalie Fatigue System. EA Sports NHL 24 is confirmed to be released on Xbox Series XlS, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. A question that the EA Sports NHL community may have is why NHL games haven’t come to the Nintendo Switch even though they’ve released FIFA games in the past and now FC 24 for the Nintendo console. The last time we saw an EA Sports NHL game release on a Nintendo console was the GameCube with NHL 06. EA Sports NHL 24 releases on October 6, 2023.
UFC 5 will not be released on PC or Nintendo Switch
EA Sports officially revealed more information about UFC 5 which will be released on October 27, 2023. The new MMA game is developed on the Frostbite Engine for the first time and features the all-new Real Impact System making UFC 5 the definitive MMA experience. EA announced that the game will be released on Xbox Series XlS and PlayStation 5 for $69.99 USD. UFC 5 will not be released on PC or Nintendo Switch when it arrives this Fall. This doesn’t come as a huge surprise since one of EA Sports’ iconic franchises, NHL 24 will not be released on either platform as well and UFC 4 was only on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
PlayStation 5 Bundles Featuring FC 24 Are Coming Soon
Sony will be announcing new PlayStation 5 Bundles that will feature upcoming sports game, EA Sports FC 24. This is according to Dealabs who leaked the Nintendo Switch OLED – Mario Red Edition and the Stormcloud Vapor Xbox Controller this Summer. The PlayStation 5 Bundles will come with a download code for EA Sports FC 24 and there will be two versions of this bundle featuring the PS5 Digital Edition and the regular PS5 that has a disc drive. Microsoft is giving away a Party Animals Xbox Series S
Microsoft tends to do giveaways for their Xbox Series XlS consoles that are themed for upcoming games or in partnership with movies. These giveaways usually feature products that you will never find on store shelves and are extremely rare. Most recently, Microsoft announced they are giving away a Party Animals-themed Xbox Series S and Controller bundle. Party Animals is a casual party game that features adorable animals, from puppies and kittens to bunnies and duckies, in the cutest cooperative brawler you’ve ever seen. Based on the giveaway graphic and tweet, it seems like there will be two different Xbox Series S bundles given away one featuring Nemo, the iconic Dog for Party Animals and one having the Orange Cat that’s in the game.
