Party Animals hits over 100K concurrent players on Steam hours after release

Party Animals is already looking like a great hit from Recreate Games who have officially released the highly anticipated casual party game for Xbox Series XlS, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Just hours after its release the game is climbing the Steam charts with thousands playing the game already. According to Steamdb, Party Animals’ all-time peak is just over 100,000 concurrent players online. The number will likely climb as this is just 12 hours into the game’s official release on PC. In our review of Party Animals, we highly suggest it for those who are looking to play a new type of party game with their friends and family. Party Animals seems to be receiving negative reviews on the platform due to the longevity of finding a Quick Match, but the team stated they’re working on it. Party Animals is also available as a console exclusive to Xbox Series XlS and Xbox One. Xbox Game Pass subscribers can play the game at no extra cost. When playing the new party game you may notice some familiar-looking characters.
BWT Alpine F1 Team Becomes Official Console Partner With Xbox

Previously, many fans have witnessed some jaw-dropping and outright questionable collaborations Microsoft formed for Xbox. Such as the prior IHOP promotion last fall or even the Swarovski giveaway it held during the 20th anniversary of the platform. More recently, fans witnessed this with another Adidas partnership revealing the D.O.N. Issue #4 Basketball Shoes then. Moreover, Microsoft has also established official partnerships with other brands to showcase its platform to the fullest extent. At the launch of the Xbox Series X, Xbox officially declared LG to be the official display brand for the console. And now, Microsoft shares a new collaboration which brings another influential brand to the Xbox moniker. This week, Microsoft & BWT Alpine F1 Team revealed the French team is an official console partner. “Today’s announcement with Alpine continues our push to reach more fans around the world through their love of sports,” Xbox gaming marketing corporate vice president Jerret West said. We are extremely pleased to be partnering with Xbox, a household name and strong leader in the gaming industry. Over the past years, we teamed up successfully on a few projects that reached successfully to our fans worldwide. We are now proud to consolidate this experience into a longer-term partnership, built on the foundation of our shared values with both Microsoft and Xbox. David Gendry, Vice President of Partnerships and Communications for Alpine Sponsoring “Motorsports is one of the most exciting sports categories in the world, with a diverse fanbase that comes together to embrace the thrill of competitive racing,” West adds. “Xbox and Alpine share common values when it comes to diversity, equity and inclusion, and we look forward to bringing the joy and community of gaming and racing to more people around the world through this exciting partnership.” Head of Xbox sports partnerships Chris Munson injects: “For Xbox and PC Game Pass fans, it’s going to be incredible seeing our logos across both Alpine A523 cars and the Paddock areas during key races each season – with the first race this weekend at the Formula 1 Lenovo Japanese Grand Prix. But beyond that, Xbox will do what we do best – create amazingly fun and imaginative activations that defy conventions, now with the creative minds at BWT Alpine F1 Team.” What is your opinion on the new partnership for Xbox? Capcom’s Onimusha Receives Anime Adaptation, Coming To Netflix This November

One of the surprising standards with Capcom in current time is its close ties to Netflix. While the firm has experimented with films through Sony Pictures, recently the Japanese publisher has worked through Netflix almost exclusively for its latest adaptations. This includes Dragon’s Dogma, Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, the live-action Resident Evil show as well as the upcoming Mega Man film & Devil May Cry animated series too. However, the two are collaborating once more with a new animated series based on the fan-favorite Onimusha series. Despite the series remaining dormant for over a handful of years, Capcom is returning to the franchise once more with a new anime for fans – old and new alike – to dive back into a nostalgic series. You can watch the trailer in the video below: “The focus of this adaptation is on Miyamoto Musashi, modeled after the late Japanese screen icon Toshiro Mifune. Set in the early Edo Period, a time when Japan was transitioning towards peace, and warfare was fading into history, an aging Musashi embarks on a covert mission. Armed with the mythical ‘Oni Gauntlet,’ Musashi embarks on an epic journey to vanquish the lurking demons. The main theme song, ‘THE LONELIEST,’ by Måneskin adds depth and emotion to the spellbinding saga.” In the press release, Netflix goes on to reveal Takashi Miike (13 Assassins, Blade of the Immortal) is to stand as supervisor director for the Onimusha series. Additionally, Shinya Sugai (Dragon’s Dogma) is to take the helm as director alongside Hideyuki Kurata (Goblin Slayer, Made in Abyss) who penned the script. Recently, Capcom revealed a new project that appears to carry on the legacy of Onimusha. Announcing Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, the title is expressed in which “upholds Capcom’s legacy of original and innovative works.” You can read the full report by heading here. Party Animals – All Arcade Maps

Party Animals from Recreate Games is here and it’s available now on Xbox Series XlS, Xbox Game Pass, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. The game includes a total of 20 maps across three game modes and we are here to list off all of the maps included in the Arcade game mode. Winter Cabin – Engage in a brawl within a winter milk bar. Drinking expired milk grants super strength but may cause dizziness. Staying outside too long will freeze you. This map turned out to be one of our favorite maps to play on in Party Animals. If you are looking to have a good time playing with a group of friends we highly suggest Winter Cabin. Final Destination – Fight in an abandoned subway station, but be careful not to fall onto the tracks. Sadly the Arcade – Fight Club game mode only features two maps as of now, but both of these are very fun to play on. You can view our gameplay of Final Destination here. Check out our 9.0/10 review of Party Animals.
Party Animals – All Last Stand Maps

Party Animals is now available for Xbox Series XlS, Xbox Game Pass, Xbox One, and PC and it offers a nice variety of maps for players to enjoy right at launch. There are three game modes: Team Score, Arcade, and Last Stand. We are going to list off all of the Last Stand maps available in the game and there are a total of 9 in this game mode. Last Stand’s default settings is teams of two, but you can change it to free-for-all or teams of four. The goal remains the same either way and that’s to be the last man standing in these brawl-focused modes. Ichiban – Engage in a fight on a flat arena surrounded by a creeping green fog. As the battle progresses, this fog rises onto the stage and drains health from anyone within it. Typhoon – Battle atop a nuclear submarine that periodically launches missiles, creating powerful shockwaves. Over time, the submarine begins to sink, necessitating a climb to higher ground for survival. Broken Arrow – Struggle on a fighter jet that tilts and sways, with strong winds adding to the challenge. As time passes, the plane’s surface becomes icy and slippery. Winter Is Coming – Fight beside the bonfires of a snowy village. In the midst of a snowstorm, maintain proximity to the fire to prevent freezing. As time passes, the fires one by one die out. Wind Tunnel – Battle within a wind tunnel where occasional gusts can blow players away. Players can raise three wind shields by pulling levers within the arena. However, these levers will gradually break with increased use. Black Hole Lab – Fight within a lab where black holes are generated. During these events, hold onto heavy objects to resist being sucked in. Over time, the black holes’ gravitational pull increases. Beat-Up Bridge – Battle on a deteriorating suspension bridge. The ropes can be broken, and they will also gradually snap on their own over time. Gator Valley – Fight on a decrepit log bridge beside a waterfall at the edge of a massive alligator-shaped valley. Occasional large waves can push the log bridge towards the cliff. Ice Breaker – Engage in combat on a floating ice sheet. Falling into the water for too long turns players into an ice block. Over time, the ice sheet cracks into smaller pieces. Castleween – This is the perfect Last Stand map for Halloween loves as it is the darkest map in Party Animals. As the game gets longer the castle will slowly start collapsing making it harder for you to stay alive. Conveyor – Try your best to stay on the stage as the Conveyor belt constantly moves items while you are battling other animals. This is one of the newer maps in Party Animals in brings more of a challenge. Last Stand might be a fan favorite when it comes to Party Animals as it’s basically a mini Battle Royale. It definitely consists of fun maps that will keep you entertained for hours. In our review of Party Animals, we gave the game a 9.0/10 and we think it’s the perfect party game to play on Xbox and PC.
Party Animals – All Team Score Maps

Beast Hockey, Beast Soccer, and Beast Football are just scratching the surface when it comes to this game mode. We are going to list all of the maps available in Team Score. Lollipop Factory – Fight in a candy factory, scrambling for large gummy bears and small candies. Win by bringing candies back to your base and prevent the opponent from scoring. Fluffy Redemption – Two teams on parallel trains throw coal into their train’s furnace to speed up, or pull the handbrake on the opponent’s train to halt their progress. Into the Game – Score points in an arcade by playing a coin-eating game or fight against opponents who are playing the game. Safely Afloat – Compete for safes hung from floating balloons, score by pulling them back to your base. Trebuchet – Score by launching bombs with a trebuchet to the opponent’s side. Prevent scoring by throwing incoming bombs into the water, or create chaos by launching yourself to the opponent’s side. Buzz Ball – A basketball-like game where you score by throwing an electric ball into the opponent’s goal. If too many players hold the ball, it explodes. Beast Hockey – A hockey-like game where you use your fists and feet, and the puck is bigger than your character. Beast Football – An American football-like game where hitting opponents is allowed. Beast Soccer – A soccer-like game with an unusually large ball, and you’re allowed to use your punches. This map can be fun to play or boring depending on the group of people you play with as trying to score a goal can be hard. Check out our gameplay video.
