Rumor: Bethesda is working on a game under Disney banner

Recently Microsoft had several confidential documents leaked that revealed plans the company had for the future. It is important to note those documents leaked were over a year old so some things have changed according to Xbox Chief Phil Spencer. Part of the leaks was Bethesda’s game release schedule that revealed a Fallout 3 Remaster is in the works among other titles. Known insider, Spheshal Nick revealed more information about what the ‘Licensed Game’ was on the leaked chart. It is believed that the licensed game from Bethesda is under the Disney banner Nick says and that could range from Marvel, Star Wars, Mickey Mouse, and anything related to Disney as the company owns many different IP. You can see the clip from the XboxEra Podcast below: The other licensed game Bethesda is working on is Indiana Jones and that was not related to the ‘Licensed Game’ part of the document. Bethesda Game Studios is having a strong 2023 with the release of Hi-Fi Rush and Starfield being their biggest video game launch of all time with over 10 million players getting their hands on it. Nick was correct before sharing that Microsoft is working on new hardware such as an Xbox Series X Digital Console and the documents revealed that exact product. What do you think Bethesda could be working on?

The first Red Dead Redemption that released in 2010 runs great on the Nintendo Switch as shown in our gameplay. With the rumors of the Nintendo Switch 2, it’s quite possible Rockstar Games will wait until next year to make this a reality. Source: Mynintendonews
Review: PowerA Advantage Xbox Controller with Lumectra

Review unit provided by PowerA After checking out PowerA’s Sparkle Advantage and Fusion Pro 3 controllers, I felt confident that PowerA makes excellent third party controllers that are both affordable and stylish. So when they announced the Lumectra version of their Advantage line of controllers, I knew I had to get my hands on it! For those unfamiliar, Lumectra is PowerA’s in-house RGB technology, and this particular controller comes with built-in RGB lighting for you to elevate your gaming experience. The controller itself, which is part of PowerA’s Advantage line of wired Xbox/PC controllers, remains great as usual. It’s smooth to hold, with excellent gripping and solid button presses. This particular version comes in both black and white colorways. When holding the Lumectra version together with the Sparkle edition, the former definitely feels a bit heavier than the latter, probably due to the lighting strips inside. The three way trigger locks and dual rumble motors are present as well, adding more versatility and customization to your gaming. Unfortunately, yes, this is still a wired only controller, but the included USB-C wire is more than sturdy and lengthy enough for all your gaming needs. The Lumectra controller features 4 distinct RGB lighting zones and 3 dynamic lighting modes. Those who purchase the optional LED strips to attach to their desk or monitor can also sync the color lighting with the controller itself. Keep in mind these external LED strips, which are plugged in via USB, contain some extremely adhesive tape, so make sure you’re content with where you’re sticking them! What is different between the Lumectra version with other Advantage controllers are the three new buttons on the back of the controller, titled MAP AGB, INT LED, and EXT LED. These added buttons allow you to adjust the color scheme of the controller RGB along with the LED strip on the fly. The button combinations are a little finicky in terms of how you actually change the colors, as you need to press one of the buttons, then press the directional button for which zone you want to change, then press the letter buttons for the actual color. I do appreciate that you don’t need to install third party software to actually customize the RGB combinations. Colors can be set to solid, fading, or a rotation of different colors. One point of criticism is that it is sometimes very difficult to change the colors of the LED strips as the IR (infrared) sensor doesn’t work as intended. The LED strips use this sensor to communicate with the controller to change colors depending on your input, but sometimes it just wouldn’t work! It would have been a better alternative for PowerA to use bluetooth technology or something more technologically advanced when it comes to this. They also could have implemented compatibility with Alexa or Google Home but I get that the company is trying to build and promote their own ecosystem. Without a doubt, the RGB on this controller looks amazing, and definitely adds personality to your gaming setup, especially if you don’t already have a gaming room decked out with ambient lighting. I know plenty of people are still exploring the infinite reaches of space in Starfield and this controller will definitely immerse you more into the overall experience. That being said, I feel like with any RGB setup, the true experience can’t be appreciated unless you play in a dark room with all the lights off. If you enjoy gaming during the day or with the lights on, then maybe this product isn’t for you. For $44.99, the PowerA Advantage controller with Lumectra is a complete steal if you’re a gamer looking to enhance your gaming setup with beautiful RGB lighting. Keep in mind the Sparkle controller is $37.99, so the Lumectra version is a bit more expensive. Those who want an additional 4-foot RGB LED strip along with the controller can purchase a bundle for just 10 dollars more, for a total price of $54.99. There’s also a standalone 18-foot strip for $19.99 if you want even more RGB! The PowerA Advantage controller with Lumectra is an excellent addition to your collection if you’re looking to introduce some color and style into your gaming setup. It does cost a little more than the base Advantage controller, but still offers a great budget price for those looking to not break the bank for a new great performing yet stylish controller. I look forward to PowerA’s future Lumectra products!
Old Call of Duty games might be coming to Xbox Game Pass soon

Over the Summer, Microsoft turned back on the old Call of Duty servers for games like Black Ops 1, 2, Modern Warfare 2, and Modern Warfare 3. It’s expected that Microsoft will close on the Activision Blizzard acquisition by October 18th with the CMA softening their pushback on the deal. Recently, players have been getting a message about old Call of Duty games coming to Xbox Game Pass when trying to purchase them. Noticed by @MauroNL on Twitter/X, Call of Duty: Ghosts looks to be one of the games going to be available on Xbox Game Pass: Seems like changes for Activision Blizzard titles are being made in the Xbox Store backend. Some users are reporting Call of Duty titles having Game Pass messages or links in the their store pages. The acquisition is expected to close within the next 3 weeks. pic.twitter.com/deCq9pA6Ox — MauroNL (@MauroNL3) September 25, 2023 Another game that looks to eventually hit Game Pass is Black Ops II as noticed by Idle Sloth on Twitter/X: (FYI) If you try to buy Call of Duty: Black Ops II in the Store you get a very peculiar message that says: "You receive this item for free with your gaming subscription. Continue to check out and use it forever!" Looks like Activision already preparing for CoD games for… pic.twitter.com/6UfYspCcwk — Alan Feely (@IdleSloth84_) September 24, 2023 It wouldn’t shock the world if this becomes official by the Holiday season for old Call of Duty games to join the best deal in gaming. This would not mean Modern Warfare III joins Game Pass as that would have to wait until 2025. What do you think about this potential move?
Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0 Is Live Ahead Of Phantom Liberty, CD PROJEKT RED Recommends Starting A New Save

Come this December, it will mark the three-year anniversary since the release of CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077. And despite the shortcoming and outright underwhelming original state of the game was in, the team is righting its wrongs with new updates periodically rolling out for the title. Last year, we saw a major improvement with the next-generation update included for Cyberpunk 2077 then. Additionally, CD Projekt Red is promising even more with the Update 2.0 client that rolled out. Previously, it was told that much of the game has been revamped. “We’ve also redone the loop and whole progression of the game; the difficulty curve is different, the tiers and drops of loot is different, the archetypes of enemies has been redone for more variety.” And now with the client live, the developer made a statement on how to approach Update 2.0. Via a post on X, CD Projekt Red asks that the best way to experience Cyberpunk 2077 now is through a fresh playthrough. Although it is not required as your original save is compatible with Update 2.0, the meat of the improvements is starting with the client is live. Oddly, this is a weird recommendation noting how close Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is to releasing. The story expansion featuring the return of Keanu Reeves along with a debut for Edris Elba is set to release on September 26th. Even more, the add-on is also confirmed to be a 32 GB install for players looking to return to Cyberpunk 2077 this week. Recently, CD Projekt Red told that much of its talent that worked on Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is now allocating the team to focus on Project Polaris – the next mainline installment for The Witcher. You can read the full report by heading here. What is your opinion on CD Projekt Red’s recommendation? Cyberpunk 2077 is out now for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
