Mountain Dew Game Fuel has officially returned with Halo Infinite & Diablo IV marketing
The long wait is over as Mountain Dew Game Fuel has officially returned as of November 6, 2023, with limited-time marketing with Halo Infinite and Diablo IV. It was revealed in October during the Halo World Championships that there would be in-game Mountain Dew items for Halo Infinite through this promotion. It turns out you can unlock Diablo IV in-game content as well with the game being marketed with the Mystic Punch flavor. PlayStation users will no longer be able to share content to Twitter/X
For a while now Xbox users haven’t been able to directly share content such as videos or pictures from their console to Twitter (now known as X) and now PlayStation owners will join them. Sony left a message on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 that as of November 13, 2023, integration with X (formerly known as Twitter) will no longer function on both PlayStation consoles. This will include the ability to view any content published on X on PS4 and PS5, and the ability to post and view content, trophies, and other gameplay-related activities on X from PS5 and PS4. This will make the Nintendo Switch to be the last console to allow players to upload content directly to X, but we don’t expect that to last much longer either. What do you think of this move? Lightning McQueen joins Rocket League
Lightning McQueen from Disney and Pixar’s Cars franchise is coming to Rocket League on November 7, 2023, Psyonix announced. It had been teased a day prior that this iconic character was coming to Rocket League. This will mark the first time Rocket League will feature dynamic expressions as Lightning looks around the arena while you are cruising and his eyes will narrow when you go full speed. Grounded: Playgrounds brings a “Forge” mode and many other improvements
Grounded has been out since 2020 where it was in Early Access for a number of years until recently in September when it saw its full release. Recently, Obsidian Entertainment announced Grounded: Playgrounds which comes with many new additions to the game. A level editor that is similar to what Forge is in Halo will be joining Grounded allowing you to craft your own levels from the ground up. You’ll be able to place AI, battle arenas, mini-games, and create puzzles. There is no limit to the number of objects you can place. Along with this new update, there are hundreds of system changes and improvements to Grounded. The Grounded Game Director, Adam Brennecke talked about how Grounded: Playgrounds was a long time coming. “This feature has been on the backlog for a very long time,” Brennecke says. “Giving people the opportunity to extend the lifetime of the games they enjoy is always really cool, which was very important to us. Nintendo is releasing a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Switch OLED
Nintendo has been gearing up for the Holidays releasing many different bundles including the new Animal Crossing New Horizon Switch Lites that are exclusive to Target and Walmart. Another report shared that a Nintendo Switch OLED Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Bundle will be coming out before Black Friday. It looks like Nintendo is still planning more bundles for the Switch OLED and this time it involved Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. According to DisTrackers on X, a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Nintendo Switch OLED will be coming to Walmart. This OLED model is almost an exact version of the regular Super Smash Bros. Switch that was released with the game as the joy cons have the SSB symbol, but the dock doesn’t have any of the characters from the game. Super Smash Bros.
