Call Of Duty: Warzone Mobile Surpasses 45 Million Pre-Registered Players, Slates Spring 2024 Release

Although Call of Duty: Warzone has maintained much of its momentum, the battle royale, now-extraction experience is even more since the launch of Warzone 2.0. Not only does it carry over content from main multiplayer to Warzone, it is to also offer cross-buy support for the forthcoming mobile version too. It has been nearly a full year since pre-registration for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile went live. While cross-platform/progression support is a norm for most live-service games, this was not the case when Warzone 2.0 was revealed. It was noted that purchases and skins would not carry over to the newer experience. Even more, the original Warzone actually shuttered entirely back in September just this fall as well. In celebration of the 20th anniversary for Call of Duty, Activision shared some milestones pertaining to Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile. That revealing over 45 million players already pre-registered for the coming smart phone game. Additionally, a spring release in 2024 is also planned for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile. A few months later in Spring 2024, prepare to join over 45 million fans who have already pre-registered Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile and prepare your squad to drop into two painstakingly-recreated Battle Royale maps – Verdansk and Rebirth Island – along with shared progression and Battle Pass integration with Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone, and an authentic multiplayer experience including maps like Shipment and Shoot House to complement Battle Royale. The milestone for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile comes as no surprise tailing behind the main version for Call of Duty: Warzone. Becoming a quick install for millions since it costs nothing to download, the game swiftly climbed in downloads with the first month welcoming 50 million users. And by the late summer, 100 million users were dropping into the battle royale. Similarly, this is a shared trend with the franchise on mobile as well. Tencent Games’ Call of Duty: Mobile during its height outperformed even Mario Kart Tour. Taking things even further, the smart phone title went on to entertain more than 250 million users, another report shared. You can read the full report by heading here. Have you pre-registered for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile? Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is set to arrive sometime in spring 2024 for Android and iOS. Source: Activision

Braid, Anniversary Edition Launches April 2024 For PlayStation, Xbox, PC, And Netflix

Upon some of the defining titles that shipped more than a decade ago, some of these legendary releases, when simplistic, have made a return with support for the newer hardware. For example The Stanley Parable was confirmed for full support moving ahead back in 2018. However, the game met plenty of uncertainty shifting its release date ahead on multiple counts. Additionally, another title to the same merit is also facing the same fate currently. Back in August 2020, Thekla announced Braid, Anniversary Edition is on the way with PlayStation the major focus. However, despite its initial 2021 promised release window, the game is still sitting in the back of fans’ minds when it is to release. In a recent announcement, Thekla confirmed the game is coming to more platforms along with a new April 2024 release date. You can watch the new trailer in the video below: “The goal is to make it the craziest, most-in-depth commentary ever put in a video game,” Thekla founder Jonathan Blow writes. “You can follow particular threads of commentary spatially, through wormholes that go from level to level to see evolutions of particular concepts; the commentary has lots of markup so we can circle stuff on the screen, point arrows at whatever visual detail we are talking about, show diagrams, play back recordings of gameplay to show what happens if you try doing this or that in a particular level, and many other capabilities.” One of the larger features also confirmed in the press release is the improvements coming part of Braid, Anniversary Edition. In that, better animations for higher performance, re-done game art by David Hellman, and even a toggle to swap between the original Braid and the new Anniversary Edition as well. Are you excited Braid is releasing on more platforms? Braid, Anniversary Edition ships on APril 30, 2024 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Netflix. Source: Thekla

News regarding Outer Wilds for Nintendo Switch likely coming soon

Very known and reliable Nintendo leaker, Pyoro_X has come to X (formerly known as Twitter) with another tease of a game coming to the Nintendo Switch. The leaker posts “Finally we will be able to roast some marshmallows on the switch”. https://twitter.com/Pyoro_X/status/1724009207295517039 The internet already figured this one out it looks like this would relate to Outer Wilds which was announced for the platform in February 2021 but got delayed. The reason this hint online matches the Outer Wilds is that when you first wake up in the game you are next to a campfire. Pyoro has yet to be wrong about recent leaks this year and this will likely become true knowing his reputation. But always take leaks with a grain of salt. .
