Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty has been a great success for CD Projekt Red who had a lot of issues initially when they released Cyberpunk 2077. Phantom Liberty was the game’s first major expansion that was released in September 2023. CD Projekt Red announced to start the year that Phantom Liberty sold over 5 million copies in 2023. Rust Mobile might be announced this year
Mobile gaming has become a dominant part of the industry and many popular IPs like Call of Duty, Fortnite, PUBG, and others are having lots of success. Another popular First-Person Shooter might be joining the mobile gaming space as soon as this year. According to Kurakasis, who has become a very reliable source on X (formerly Twitter), claims that Rust Mobile is in development with Level Infinite being involved as the publisher or collaborative partner. They are also the publisher of PUBG Mobile, Assassin’s Creed Jade, and Honor of Kings. If this is true, Rust for mobile will be announced sometime this year. Rust Mobile is in development. Rust was first released in early access in December 2013 and received a full release in February 2018. You can play the game on Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and Mac currently. It is safe to say it would be a smart move for Facepunch Studios and Double Eleven to release their biggest hit on mobile devices.

Rumor: The Gears Collection “is being internally tested” by The Coalition
When it comes to the many video game franchises that Microsoft owns, Gears of War has been quiet since the release of Gears 5 in 2019. The Coalition is obviously developing something right now and possibly working on multiple projects. According to @Middleagegamegy on X (formerly Twitter), The Coalition is internally testing The Gears Collection. He claims the build is finished and the game testers at the studio are playing it now. Obviously, The Gears Collection would include the early games in the series, but that remains to be seen. This comes from the Xbox Infinite Podcast. A reliable insider a few months ago shared that Gears 6 is far along in development and could be open world. As always take rumors like these with a grain of salt. In 2015 the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition was released for Xbox One which was a remaster of the original installment to the series. This rumored collection could likely feature the first three, but nothing has been confirmed.
Rumor: Universal Orlando is getting Zelda, Luigi’s Mansion, & Pokémon Attractions
Universal Orlando is rumored to be adding a few new attractions that fans of Nintendo might enjoy including The Legend of Zelda, Luigi’s Mansion, and Pokémon-themed areas of the park. While Super Nintendo World has not come to Orlando, Florida yet, it seems Universal wants to replace some of its current attractions. It is reported the Pokémon area would replace The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man in Japan and as for Florida, the area would replace The Simpsons Ride. The Pokémon ride would have elements of Augmented Reality which we’ve seen before at other parks like Super Nintendo World in Japan where they use it for Mario Kart. The other rumored attraction is for The Legend of Zelda for Islands for Adventure. It was been talked about that The Legend of Zelda Land would feature an indoor boat ride concept and a reimagined Deku Tree-themed restaurant. The opening date for the Zelda-themed attraction wouldn’t be until 2027. Luigi’s Mansion would be a mini-land within the Super Nintendo World. It would go between Super Nintendo World and Dark Universe lands. The ride proposed for the Luigi’s Mansion attraction would have an immersive experience where you go through haunted mansion rooms with an interactive shooter. We’ll have to wait and see what Nintendo has coming for Florida’s version of Super Nintendo World, but it seems like they are going to have lots of attractions when it does come around.
