Destiny 2: Into the Light launches on April 9, 2024

Bungie announced its anticipated two-month content update, Destiny 2: Into the Light will officially launch on April 9, 2024, and it will be available to all players. Leading up to that date the development team at Bungie will host a series of three livestreams showcasing new content, features, and rewards with hands-on gameplay. The development streams are scheduled for March 19, March 26, and April 2. Viewers will have the chance to earn two unique emblems through Twitch Drops during the series of shows. Destiny 2: Into the Light will provide enough content until The Final Shape comes around on June 4, 2024, when players will take on the Witness in the biggest battle the Guardians have faced.

Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection Has Overwhelmingly Negative Reviews On Steam

Aspyr Media released the Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation. The game is off to a rough start as many issues from players have already been discovered and in some cases, you’d think they weren’t anticipating this much player traction. Well, on Steam this Battlefront Classic Collection has received “Overwhelmingly Negative” reviews due to many issues like its servers. The Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection launched with only 3 multiplayer servers that each allowed 64 players, 10,000 people tried to play the game on launch night and sessions were crashing once some players got into servers or they had very bad lag. The Open Beta for Final Fantasy XIV Online arrived on Xbox Series X|S on February 21, 2024, and the game has more content coming this Summer.

Sonic 3 has finished filming

The Sonic movies have been a great success through its first two films and Sonic 3 is planned for a release on December 20, 2024. A lot of rumors have been swirling about other actors getting involved like Krysten Ritter who is linked to Rouge the Bat and Hayden Christensen who is rumored to voice Shadow in the upcoming film. In a recent interview with The Playlist, James Marsden (Tom Wachowski) was interviewed along with Michael Keaton to talk about some of their past movies and what they have coming up. James was asked about Sonic 3 and he confirmed in the interview that Sonic 3 has wrapped filming. The interview didn’t reveal too much, but the good news is that Sonic 3 seems to be on track to release this December.

Mojang introduces the Minecraft Marketplace Pass
