Keanu Reeves Reported To Be Voicing Shadow The Hedgehog In Sonic The Hedgehog 3

Over the course of 2024 thus far, Sonic the Hedgehog fans are ramping up for an exciting year regarding the growing cinematic franchise. This April later in the month Paramount+ is to air the six-episode miniseries ‘Knuckles’. But that is only the first half. Of course, the year is to end with Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Some of the biggest news from the production is discovering Crush40’s ‘Live and Learn’ is to be featured in the coming film. Additionally, there is chatter beyond this year. In one recent interview, producer Toby Asher elaborated on the “Avengers-level events” that the movies will evolve into. The biggest takeaway is how this growing universe will expand based on the source material. In a separate report, fans uncovered a copyright filing with Paramount to draw inspiration from select Sonic games including the Sonic Adventure series, Sonic Heroes, and even Sonic Riders as well. Now with growing anticipation of the movie, casting is another major focus. Already, Jim Carrey is confirmed the reprise his role as Dr. Robotnik. And, we are aware Shadow the Hedgehog will be included, but his voice has yet to be revealed. Previous reports pointed towards Hayden Christensen for the part, but a new The Hollywood Reporter details the official casting. In the report, it is indicated that Keanu Reeves (The Matrix, John Wick) is to voice Shadow the Hedgehog. While the outlet does corroborate the report on Reeve’s casting, the initial reporting comes from The John Campea Show. Recently, Campea told that the casting would not be Christensen after string of claims online. At the time he said the actual casting would get fans excited. Among other castings from the movie, there is another character in the pipeline according to other claims before. In that, Rouge the Bat is to make her debut in Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Even more, Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones, Breaking Bad) is to portray the treasure hunter. However, there has yet to be confirmation on the character’s appearance for the film. EA Sports College Football 25 is rumored to launch on July 19

In February, EA Sports put out the official teaser for College Football 25 that teased assets that will be in the game including mascots, players, the college crowd, and some stadiums. EA Sports did say they’ll have a full reveal for the game in May which should announce the release date. According to Matt Brown of Extra Points, College Football 25 will be released this July.  According to Brown’s sources, College Football 25 will launch on Friday, July 19, 2024. He also says the full reveal will go down on May 16, 2024, which should give us that July release date.  It has been over 10 years since the world has seen a College Football game since NCAA Football 2014 which came out for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in July 2013. It would make sense for the return of the Football game to come in July based on history.  We should also expect EA Sports College Football 25 to release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and possibly last-gen consoles looking at EA’s past with its most recent sports games.  Source: Brobible

Fallout 76 hits new peak on Steam thanks to TV Show

The Fallout Television Series is having a positive impact on Bethesda Game Studios’ Fallout video games since it was released on April 10 on Prime Video. We had shared that Fallout games have surged in player counts including Fallout New Vegas, Fallout 4, and Fallout 76. Out of all those games, Fallout 76 has seen a large impact since it was made free on Prime Gaming to all those who have Amazon Prime. Fallout 76 hit a new peak on Steam for the first time in a long while and according to SteamDB, the all-time concurrent player count is 39,455 which was achieved during the weekend. Fallout 76 was released on October 23, 2018, and after a rough launch for the game, it has turned around becoming a favorite for some. Bethesda has continued to bring content to Fallout 76 with the latest expansion being Atlantic City – Boardwalk Paradise. Prime Video’s Fallout Series has become #1 Worldwide on the streaming platform during its first weekend of release. Fallout Season 1 features eight episodes that average around an hour per episode and it’s already reported that the show has been renewed for Season 2.
